Dr. Beckwith uses a very simple comparison of human blood and what happens with it when it is left out and not stored properly. According to medical best practices systematic reviews and research have been done to identify and analyze the evidence base supporting the 30-minute and 4-hour rules in blood transfusion procedures. The 30-minute rule states that red blood cell (RBC) units left out of controlled temperature storage for more than 30-minutes should not be returned to storage for reissue. The 4-hour rule states that transfusion of RBC's should be completed within 4 hours of their removal from controlled temperature storage in order to prevent bacterial contamination. The blood of Jesus Christ has been working for well over 2,000 years, we are still covered with that same blood, it still works and it still has its power! The blood still heals, the blood still delivers and the blood still sets free. The BLOOD, The BLOOD, The BLOOD, it was nothing but the BLOOD!

God covers us, often times we as Christians can struggle with being spiritually naked before other Christians because we just don’t want to exercise that level of vulnerability. Churches are filled with people suffering in silence because they have not found a level of comfort where they can show themselves and their issues. Everyone that shows up is not there for the same reason. We won’t ever be able to rid churches of those kinds of people, they are everywhere. But, what we can do individually, is we can love as Christ loved the church. We can meet people where they are and love them right where they are, and love will cover a multitude of sins. Today Countyline Baptist Church held our Annual Homecoming Service, this service is monumental as we honored elders that had been with us several decades some over 80 years. Countyline has a rich heritage dating back more than 152 years. The word loyalty is defined in all its likeness. We live in a world where loyalty seems to be some sort of fashion statement, instead of a way of life and true characteristic trait. The Webster's Dictionary gives its own definition as well as synonyms that are befitting of the word. But, Pastor Dr. Beckwith has a very simple definition of loyalty and it is as follows: when you are loyal, you are simply who you say or who you portray to be.

Pastor Dr. Beckwith does something a little different this year, he caters his message in observance of the Father's Day holiday. As parents I'm not sure if we realize how naturally our children are just like us in some of their actions. This is why it is of the utmost importance for us to make sure that we demonstrate Christ like qualities and behaviors at all times. God says that he made man in his image, so I am just like my Daddy. The picture attached to this message is of Jahari (Pastor's eldest brother), their father (Robbye) and himself. The message is entitled, "I'm Just Like Daddy," which many may erroneously think that refers to our earthly fathers. But once you are born again and accept Christ as your savior, your DNA is no longer the same and you are indeed just like your Daddy, who is now your Heavenly Father.

For those that are blessed to still have our Fathers we don't take it for granted. In the way you live, I should see your Light! Our elders told us that what was done in the dark would always come to the light. As Christians we should live our lives as Light moments. Let everything that we do, we do unto him. Remember it is so much better for light to overcome darkness.

Since we are connected as a body of Christ, what one feels we should all feel.
