Root kept the trap door open, while River slowly descended down the cracking narrow stairs of the cellar, the air down was almost frozen but still humid, and quite dark...
The fireplaces in the Podestà mansion usually were almost all lit up, so River found a warm bedroom waiting for her...
River came out from the building and took a deep breath, trying to suffocate the growing sense of alarm ringing in her head: but the images of those worms, eating and rotting the fresh flesh kept dancing in her mind.
Rot in Southbank.
The bonesetter, with suspect and hesitation, is leading River to his laboratory, to show her a secret behind the murder of one of the king entourage.
River is meeting with Southbank's Podestà for her searching of Thane. Will the wolf help her?
River travel to Southbank, to search for the Prince of Blades, Thane. It's a prickly situation...
