Pawtucket, RI was home to the longest professional baseball game. It lasted 33 innings for a total of 8.5 hours, and featured very cold weather, angry wives, and an umpire who sent this game into the farthest recesses of our universe. It really is one of the weirdest sports games in recent memory.
***Note, the PawSox and the RedSox are the same team. The Red Wings are a different team.
