I'm not the best student. Never have been. As a kid, I always thought I was slow or stupid because I couldn't keep up with the material like my peers could. It took me years to realize that I wasn't stupid-it was just the public education system that made me feel as though I was. As I matured into adulthood I realized that everything the school system had taught me about myself was wrong. I was actually intelligent, a good learner, and willing to take on new challenges. Here are some ways I primed my brain for learning, overcame mental barriers, and studied for some of the most difficult tests in the country.

What you consume, alters your reality. This is why movies have the ability to provoke such powerful emotions within us. Movies can inspire us. Make up feel anger. What defines a man more? His defeats or his victories? In this episode I discuss what happens to our minds when we perceive (yes perceive) defeat. When is the last time you expressed genuine gratitude for your life? So often we focus more on what we don't have rather than what we do have. Slowly we begin to sink in the "scarcity mindset" and begin to attract more of what we don't want. Rather than thinking of abidance, wealth, and prosperity we focus on poverty, lacking, and stress. The universe gives you what you attract, no matter how bad or good. Let's talk about how to harness positive Vrill, Chi, or Thumotic energies for an advantage over the physical realm we currently inhabit.

The world is changing, and fast. As we advance through the digital age our ability to work within the physical realm is quickly fading. Individuals are forgetting how to work with their hands. How build something from scratch; or even how to fix something that needs fixing. This episode is about acquiring a skill and finding within that skill not only pleasure and peace, but wealth.
The torch is in your hands now. You have been blessed with life, thanks to them. You must carry yourself with honor, integrity, and duty. Make your ancestors proud, and set your kin up for success. Your ancestors are watching you in this world from theirs. When you meet them, will they greet you with a glorious welcome? Or a disgusted shame? The choice is yours. Your ancestors are always watching you.

This episode is based on my opinion on what he means to embrace lethality and understand that violence is a part of the human condition. Man must be capable of committing violence not just for the sake of it, but rather to be able to defend his family, blood, and territory.
I'm back! This episode is a summary of my experiences over the last month or so. Feels good to get back behind the mic. Thank you all for the support.
Cowardice is a choice. Our ancient ancestors knew this. That is why such harsh punishments were conducted if one displayed cowardice. To be a coward in the modern world is must less obvious. Cowardice has now been excused, poeticized, and even admired among the men and women of today.
Life is too short to be a coward.
Honor is essential for the masculine psyche. Honor is the mechanism that allows a man to access his virtues and navigate through the world. Honor binds men together and gives them unbelievable power and potency. Honor allows a man to gauge himself and his progress based on the opinions of other men. Without honor, man is lost.
In this Episode with Jacob, a Norse Pagan, we discuss the Norse Mythology, his path, and what it means to be a Norse Pagan in the modern world. No matter your faith, you will find this episode interesting.
Why does the modern world hate beauty so much? Don't believe me? What impressed you more? Any common sky scraper, or the sistine chapel? What strikes you as more beautiful? How ironic is it that the sky scraper, in it's towering height, seems to be so far away from godly beauty. Yet a building like the sistine chapel, only 70 meters high, is closer to god than any of building in New York. Have you not listened to modern music? Does it not sound all the same? Lazy, repetitive, insulting? What about our modern art? When did we begin to mistake a trash can for a piece of art in your average art museum? And lastly, the human body. Obesity is now glorified and promoted among our youth. Those who train their bodies and reach peak performed and deemed only as egotistical or narcissistic. Striving for beauty, no matter its form seems to be an act of rebellion in the modern world. Let us rebel. Let us seek beauty once again.
At one point, I looked to the stars and felt nothing but despair. Now, I look to the stars and see Gods, Kings, and Heroes. Reclaim the stars. Reclaim what has been yours all along.
Reputation is important. Reputation follows you wherever you go whether you like it or not. So it would be wise of you to treat it like gold and care for it like nothing else. People who don't care about their reputation are playing a bad power game and they will pay a price for it eventually. Individuals who understand the importance of reputation will find themselves climbing to the top of nearly any adventure, job, task, or arena they find themselves in. Play the game. Care about your reputation. Your life may depend on it.
Over the next few weeks you will see two types of people. The ones who make no use of their time, and the ones you take full advantage of it. Which person will you be?
This episode summarizes not only my experiences from the Drill Sergeant Academy, but the lessons I've learned from it. Throughout this episode I speak about emotional control, the "WHY", and overcoming and adopting positive stress.

Over the next few months, keep my lessons in mind. I believe they will help you on your path through life.
Stay strong. Stay Heroic. Make us proud.

As children, we are taught that having enemies is something that should be avoided. We are taught to avoid conflict and seek peace. Though this may be true to a certain extent, we have forgotten that the world is full of enemies. Whether or not we like to admit it, we will always have enemies. So why not embrace this fact? Nothing defines a man more than his enemies. With enemies, man is forced to bolden himself. Through the defeat of his enemies he will find glory and respect.
In this episode, I speak about the importance of enemies and why having enemies is a gift.
The conquistador Hernan Cortés was faced with a problem while in Mexico. His men, nearly 500 strong, lacked total commitment to their mission of locating and conquering Tenochtitlán, the capital of the Aztec empire. After some time, Cortés finally identified the problem. The problem was the boats that laid within their harbor. These boats represented Cuba, their families and most importantly...a way out. Knowing the boats were always in the harbor, the soldiers would never fight with the vigor the mission required. So, Cortés was faced with no choice...he destroyed the boats. From there on, the conquistadors stood on "Death Ground", and was forced to fight and win like their lives depended on it.
Sometimes in life, we must do the same. We must burn the boats of safety and comfort in order to grow and develop as humans. Only when we realize that our backs are against the wall; that there are no boat home, can we really begin to fight for what we want.
We all search for the holy grail within our own minds. This is the place of peace, happiness, and beauty, free from our depression, anxieties, and suffering. We think this quest for the grail takes place in the outward world but this is a mistake. Through drugs, sex, technology; we hope to obtain the power of the grail and always fail. Where does one find the castle that holds this grail? Why cant our king not drink from the grail? For whom does the grail serve?
For many of us, The Warrior's Spirit still burns hot in our bellies. This fire is currently being quenched by modern society through conditioning, medications, and shame. This is my message to those who still feel the fire in their bellies. Do not give up. The world will need you once again.
Our idea of happiness has been sucked into it's negative. Many are fooled into believing that cars, houses, gadgets, and money will make us ultimately happy. This is an evil lie that, at one point in time, I believed. In this episode, I will describe my opinion on happiness and how one actually obtains it.
Side note: I understand that happiness is somewhat subjective but for the most part, true happiness is universally obtained the same way.
Nearly every day I've been getting questions about my plant based diet. You've asked why I became plant based, how I've became plant based and others similar to that. In the episode I want to take the time to clarify all your questions and debunk some common myths about the plant based life style. Keep in mind these are opinions from my experiences and studies and you should not take my word for it. I highly suggest you research the plant based diet for yourself. You may be surprised in what you discover.
The man who strives for the highest of virtues will find himself in the highest of places. A virtuous man is rewarded by not only those around him, but those above him and below him. He will become a beacon of light for all.
It's hard to deny the fact that the world has become louder. With our cars, planes, phones, music, it's hard to get away from it all. Even I find myself cursing the sky and everyone in it for ruining my silence with their Beoing 787 Dreamliners. Combine that noise with the average day to day hustle and bustle of the city and it's sure to drive anyone mad eventually. What are the negative effects of this noise pollution? In contrast, what are the benefits of silence and stillness? Why is it needed? What has it done for me? Join me in the episode while I discuss all these things.
Side note: It's ironic that this episode contains random hisses and clicks from my microphone. I know it's annoying but please bear with it until I can fix the problem. Thank you.
Postpone your despair is a message of hope. It's a simple reminder that no matter the suffering you are currently enduring, things will get better. It's important to understand that the media uses despair as tool to keep you afraid and blind. The more afraid you are, the more easy you are to control. Keep your eyes open and notice the ones who want you in a constant state of despair, a constant state of submissiveness.
In the life of a service member, it is easy to become a slave to our anger, sorrow, and depression. With countless people above us and below us, we often feel victimized by the very system we volunteered to serve. The truth is that you do not have to feel this way. You do not have to be dragged around by your emotional impulses. You are human and these emotions are normal, sometimes necessary. It's what you choose to react to that is the key. Let me introduce you to Stoic Philosophy and start becoming a more resilient, well integrated service member immediately.
This episode is for everyone, not just service members.

In the age of digital media, many of us are forgetting about the importance of reading. The school system has pulled the miracle out of reading and made it into a chore. Throughout this episode I will speak about the Pros and Cons of sexual impulse control, both physically and mentally. Also, I will be talking about the negative effects of porn and how it's doing much more harm then good. A quote from Friedrich Nietzche inspired me to do this episode...
"The reabsorption of semen by the blood is the strongest nourishment and, perhaps more than any other factor, it prompts the stimulus of power, the unrest of all forces toward the overcoming of resistances, the thirst for contradiction and resistance. The feeling of power has so far mountain highest in abstinent priests and hermits."

Striving for greatness is an honorable venture. At some point in time, we were caught to believe that this pursuit is invalid. That it was "prideful", or a waste of time. I fundamentally believe that the drive for greatness essential for all. In this episode I will talk about reaching greatness as a process, rather than an over night phenomena.

Back-Building isn't a just a philosophy, it's a way of life. We are those who refuse to crumble under the burden of existence. We are physically and mentally ready. We are under no illusions that life is suffering. We expect this suffering and use it as fuel. In a world of weakness, we choose strength.
"The burden of life is a heavy burden to bear, so build a strong back."

I believe that modern members of society use sympathy as a drug. We use sympathy to avoid responsibility. We use it distract ourselves from the real problem. Most importantly, sympathy has been monetized. With all these factors at play, sympathy is losing it's value. The point of this episode is to remind you that not all your problems require the sympathy of others. Yet in contrast, I discuss appropriate times for sympathy and why it's important.

The mind gives what it gets. If you don't give the mind what it needs, why should it do the same for you? Within this episode I'll provide you with actionable advice that will help you make your mind your friend. Remember, the mind is an incredibly complicated machine that needs constant upgrades, maintain and repair. Sometimes, the best thing we can do for it is to treat it as such.

Last month I had a powerful dream. This dream had deep ties to ancient symbols and meanings. Within this episode I will go into what these symbols mean and what I learned from them. Thanks to Carl Jung's studies on the power of symbols, I was able to integrate this dream properly and use it to my advantage. I am no longer a skeptic of dream analysis!
