Spiritual Warfare- The Nature of the Battle
In this podcast she will explain the following:
“Sometimes it is hard to comprehend a threat that comes from things that are unseen. The
threat of spiritual warfare is very real; therefore, we should arm ourselves with the weapons
given to us by God, that is His Word and prayer.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the
weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5
We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God and take
every thought captive to obey Christ.”
We should engage in this warfare with confidence that God’s power working through us is
greater than any evil working against us. Do not remain passive, be actively engaged in this
warfare through God’s word and prayer.

Have you ever considered the impact that unforgiveness has on us? Unforgiveness is a heavy burden that hinders our prayers and worship. We cannot freely worship the Lord with unforgiveness in our hearts. Nor can we get our prayers answered if we do not forgive. Forgiveness is a guiding principle for those who believe in Christ Jesus and his word. However, what happens when someone refuses to accept your forgiveness? What happens if that person is not a Christian? What should we do if the person we need to forgive is deceased and/or unavailable to acknowledge how they have harmed us? These are just some of the questions that were addressed during our roundtable discussion on forgiveness. Please listen to the podcast and feel free to share the podcast with others. May God bless each of us with a forgiving heart such that we will "forgive others of their trespasses, like our Father forgave us of our trespasses." [Matthew 6:15].
We met as a panel to discuss the perplexing discussion of forgiveness. We took questions from the audience in this podcast. You do not want to miss this insightful discussion on why it is so important as followers of Christ, to forgive.
Contributors: Bishop Douglas Morton, Rev. Caleb Rodriguez, Rev. Maulin Vanderburgh, Sis. Lakeisha Singleton, and Sis. Lashawnda Colemen.
Please ask yourself this question, “When is the last time I heard the Lord’s voice?” Your answer may depend upon your level of intimacy or closeness that you have with the Lord. Spiritual intimacy entails having a deeper relationship with the Lord and knowing his voice when you hear it such that you have no confusion or doubt that it is Him!
In order for us to obtain a deeper connection with the Lord, we must be willing to Commune with Him; allow Him to Cleanse our hearts and minds; be open and honest with Him and Confess our faults and weaknesses to Him; be willing to accept his Correction; and, Commit to serving him and his children in ministry.
Presented by Sister Lakeisha A. Singleton
As we continue on this Christian journey, many of us desire to have a closer walk with the Lord. In order to accomplish this goal, I realize we must develop an intimate relationship with him, which is a process that begins with our willingness to completely submit to him. Are we willing to complete the process of becoming spiritually intimate with the Lord? Are we willing to surrender it all for him? The process of developing an intimate relationship with Christ begins by allowing him to destroy all barriers that keep us distant from him. Please be blessed by the first of this three-part series on Spiritual Intimacy.
