We got such a huge reaction to our Banana Peels of Entrepreneurship series and specifically our last episode Avoiding Bad Hires, we needed to do a follow-up. Specifically to discuss what to do after you've already made a bad hire and the time has come to deal with it. The steely cold assassin of Dr. Asha will give you some great tips and strategies to make the process a bit more comfortable for all involved. Steve has a few of his own personal tips too but he was mainly taking notes of all the great stuff Asha was sharing.
This was a super fun but very relevant topic for our entrepreneurs and business leaders out there that will inevitably have to deal with this at some point. We hope our approaches can help make it less uncomfortable and a bit easier to navigate.
We begin a new series called The Bananas Peels of Entrepreneurship where we explore the slippery challenges many of us face and want to avoid as we grow our companies.
This week, Asha and Steve dive into the very important topic of avoiding making bad hires. As we grow and scale, we need people. How do we make sure, in our rush to hire, we don't slip on the banana peel that could cost us tons of time and money of a poor hiring decision?
When faced with a struggle, it can be difficult to find your way forward and see a clear path to achieving your goals. In those moments, it can seem like things will never change and that you will always be stuck in the same place. Yet these difficult times are also opportunities for professional growth and personal development.
Struggling in romantic relationships can be a stressful and difficult experience, particularly when those struggles impact our personal and professional lives. Whether it's with partners, family members, friends, or colleagues, navigating relationship challenges often requires a great deal of emotional labor and self-reflection.
At the same time, dealing with relationship problems is often an important part of our personal growth and development. When we struggle to communicate effectively or struggle to understand and respect the needs of others, it forces us to expand our perspective and learn new skills. This struggle can lead to healthier interactions with others, improving the quality of not only our romantic relationships but also our professional relationships as well.
We all face doubt at some point in our lives. Whether it's doubting our abilities, our choices, or even ourselves, doubt can be a very powerful force. And when we're already struggling with confidence, doubt can be even more damaging. The key is to remember that confidence isn't about never having doubts. It's about how we handle those doubts when they come up. When we face our doubts head-on and refuse to let them keep us from moving forward, that's when we really start to build confidence.
We all have our own unique Identity and we struggle every day to be ourselves. It is a continuous Journey to find out who we are and to be comfortable in our own skin. We go through life trying to fit in and be like everyone else, when all we really need to do is be ourselves. Be you and live your life the way you want to live it. Don't let anyone else control your happiness, only you have the power to do that. The struggle to be yourself is a hard one, but it's worth it in the end because you get to live your life exactly the way you want to. So don't give up on yourself, keep fighting the good fight and eventually you'll find your way.
We've all been there - those days where everything feels like a struggle. We wake up feeling exhausted, our to-do list seems impossible, and every little thing feels like a battle. It can be difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel when we're in the midst of a struggle, but it's important to remember that this is only a temporary phase. struggles are a normal part of life, and everyone goes through them from time to time. The important thing is to keep moving forward, even when it feels like we can't take another step. With perseverance and dedication, we will eventually overcome our struggles and come out stronger on the other side.

We are celebrating our 100th episode of Conversations with Asha and Steve today. How can you have a complete happiness transformation? There are many ways to do so. Although happiness is not a continuous state of being, it can be the majority of what you experience if you just implement some regular practices into your daily lives.
Being an entrepreneur requires a great amount of drive and passion. To be truly successful, you must learn how to set goals, manage your time effectively, and keep pushing through the inevitable setbacks and obstacles. When you are working for yourself, it can be challenging to stay motivated and focused on what is important. That said, there are certain strategies that can help you cultivate happiness as an entrepreneur. The secret to being a happy entrepreneur lies in embracing every opportunity for growth and learning along the way.
Is happiness really a goal? The pursuit of happiness can often lead to disappointment, because happiness is a feeling and not a permanent state. It's like chasing a butterfly; as soon as you think you have it, it flits away again. When you have a sense of purpose, you are more likely to find lasting satisfaction, even on the days when you don't feel particularly happy. Focus on creating a life that has meaning for you.
The key to true happiness is finding joy in the little things. Whether it's savoring a cup of your favorite coffee on a slow Saturday morning or spending time with family and friends, taking the time to appreciate even seemingly small moments can bring us blissful joy to our lives. Take pleasure in all of the small ways you can find contentment and joy every single day. You won't regret it!
To start living your best life, you need to make the most of every opportunity to grow and learn. Working with a coach or mentor could be the key to you unlocking your highest potential. By focusing on key principles and implementing them in your work and life, you can be on your way to living your best life every single day.
Have you ever considered becoming a coach? There are many different skills and qualities that one must possess in order to be a successful coach. Perhaps the most essential is the ability to motivate and inspire others. Join us as we talk about the essentials of becoming a coach.
At the end of the day, there's nothing wrong with seeking help when you need it. Your coach will only be there to support and encourage you as you work towards your goals. They will not judge or criticize you in any way, but will help to guide and motivate you as needed. So if you're feeling unsure or scared about reaching out to a coach, just remember that this is a positive step towards becoming stronger and more confident. And in doing so, you can overcome whatever challenges may be holding you back from achieving success.
There are many misconceptions about coaching. Some people believe that coaching is only for athletes or that it is only about improving performance. However, coaching can be beneficial for people in all walks of life and can help them reach their goals, both personal and professional. Coaching is not about telling people what to do; it is about helping them find their own solutions and supporting them as they take action. It’s a way that can help us reach our full potential.
You're a great person with all the potential to do anything you set your mind to. But sometimes we need someone else's perspective on our goals, or just some outside help to motivate us in order to shed some light on our situation. That’s where coaching comes into play- as an expert who can give insightful advice about how best to handle certain situations so that they don't get between us and our success. Everyone needs someone in their corner.

How many times do you stop to say " Thank You"?
You are grateful for your life and for the opportunities that you have but do you take the time to express it and really feel it?
Gratitude can transform every part of your life... including your work and business. In fact when we are thankful and grateful for the opportunities coming our way it seems to bring even more towards us.
Two words, Thank You, are both simple but incredibly powerful. This coming week is Thanksgiving in the United States and it is a collective time where we all give thanks for our family and friends and what we have in our lives. It would be wonderful if we could make everyday Thanksgiving in some way... Ok maybe skip the turkey and football everyday :) ... but just get to practicing the Attitude of Gratitude daily.
Is there a friend, family, colleague, employee or anyone that you haven't thanked lately for what they do in your life... take some time to reflect upon it. It is essential to your business that you value the people you have around you and even behind the scenes and show that in some way. Whether it is a note of appreciation, a small gesture or a public acknowledgement for what they do during your next staff meeting.
As we wind down this year take a moment to think about the three most important things in your life that you are grateful for and write them down. This will remind you that even in the tough times there is so much to be thankful for.
Asha and Steve shared their lists that included:
Health- Without a healthy body and mind nothing would be possible. Its important to invest your time and effort in maintaining the most healthy lifestyle possible. Remember that mental and emotional health is just as important as your physical health.
Support Team- The family and friends who support them behind the scenes that allows them to be and do the things that they do in the world.
Freedom- The freedom to be able to create your experiences the way you want and share knowledge and inspiration to others along the way. To really be able to help people in every way possible.
Thank you Listeners for Joining us on this journey. If you have any questions or comments please visit us at www.conversationswithashaandsteve.com We would love to hear from you.

How does negativity impact our lives? How can we keep ourselves from getting sucked in? Here are some tips that can help you transform the negativity to positivity. 1. Start your day on the right trajectory. Be conscious of how you start your day. 2. Don't take anything personally. Realize that when someone is being negative, they are projecting their reality. Take a moment to respond instead of reacting from our Ego. 3. Look at what perspective you are projecting into the world. Make sure you are not a contributor to the negativity. Lead by example. 4. Be selective about who you are following on social media as well. Asha Challenges us to try out a Media Block Out... at least for a week. If you are someone that watches the news every day in the morning and the evening exposing yourself to a bombardment of negativity this might very well change your outlook and experience on the day. Choose to read the media or pick and choose what you watch or listen to and limit the time that you spend exposing yourself to this negativity.
