Poetry to me, is a defense mechanism. Over the years I have realized and found my solace in turning to words not just to heal but also to rejoice. I triumph over every loss upon finishing a verse. Words are powerful. They can soothe you to an extent that sometimes even actions canโt, because we are human and our actions sometimes are governed by a lot of external factors and our intrinsic ego. Words however flow freely when we are venting it out.
