The Mullet Man tells the poignant story of an unlikely friendship between an elderly black man, Ulysses, and an 11-year-old white boy, Richie, in the deep South of 1955. Their bond begins with a shared love of fishing but deepens as they navigate societal challenges. Uly uses his wisdom from a lifetime of hard work to guide Richie, who grapples with the complexities of race and friendship amidst societal pressures. As Richie faces backlash for befriending Uly, their relationship becomes a lens for exploring racism and the hope for change. This novella captures a raw slice of Americana, highlighting valuable life lessons and the enduring struggle against racial division.
Fields, a former government scientist and businessman, penned his first book at the age of 82, not as a bucket-list item, but with the hope of launching into a meaningful dialogue about racism. Though his book’s story is based on his real-life 70-year-old experiences, he believes lessons can be learned today for a new generation. Unfortunately, racism still plagues our society and remains a hot-button subject. A Coming-Of-Age Story, Inspired By Real Events In 1950s Deep South, About An Unlikely Friendship Between An Elderly Black Man & A Young White Boy, Forged Despite Poverty & Racism Obstacles

Savvy is the marketplace he's been building toward for 30 years. We connect travelers directly with vetted, professional property managers. No Airbnb. No Vrbo. No 15-20% platform fees. Just professional hospitality at a fair price, with the guest relationship staying where it belongs. 150,000+ properties. 2,500+ professional property managers. The short-term rental industry has a trust problem, a fee problem, and a consistency problem. Professional property managers solve all three — they just need a marketplace that’s built for them, not against them. James talks with Savvy CEO Eric Goldreyer!

Mark A Miller ia a green architect and father of two young adults here in Chicago. "When my wife and I started our family, I was 36, the same age that my own father was when he died of a heart attack. As you can imagine, I was sweating bullets the first year of my daughter's life, worried I too may follow his fate. This forced me to ask myself, "should I die early, how can I keep loving and supporting my amazing daughter "from the other side". This lead me to think about where in our society is the place where the living come to meaningfully connect with the dead, which is a cemetery. As an architect I don't find the design of most cemeteries functions well for this act of "connecting". I've been re-imagining the design of cemetery into a much better model I call a "Spirit Park". In parallel to this goal, over the past 6 years I have created an app for parents, especially grandparents called Love Notes which helps parents and grandparents keep their hearts connected with their children/grandchildren now and forever. This mission is important to anyone thinking they may leave sooner than expected; people who are in their golden years or dealing with end of life issues." From BradMy passion behind the mic has transformed into Brad Storm VO, where I create exceptional audio and video content. With over a decade of experience in the field of voiceovers and video production, I craft professional content for clients worldwide. Since 2013, my company has excelled in grasping the essence of each project and delivering content that stands head and shoulders above the rest. The satisfaction of helping clients meet their deadlines with top-quality audio and video fills me with joy.
My journey began in the world of radio, where I developed, produced, and served as the on-air talent for the show "Between the Ropes," broadcast on 90.5 FM WUOG in Athens, Georgia. "Between the Ropes" showcased a diverse array of professional wrestling talent from the Southeast. During this period, I ventured into the squared circle as a ring announcer, introducing various athletes into the world of combat.
I continued my journey with internships at World Championship Wrestling, where I played a role in the promotions department and supported numerous video shoots for pay-per-view events. My experience expanded further with an internship at 790 AM "The Zone," where I assisted in communications, live remotes, and managing phone lines.
My educational background includes a degree in Journalism and a minor in English from the University of Georgia. I was an active member of the DiGamma Kappa broadcasting society during my time at the university. Post-graduation, I joined the ranks of the firefighter brotherhood. During my tenure as a firefighter, I melded my communication skills with my firefighting knowledge to educate on fire safety, train new recruits, and assess fire scenes for effective offensive and defensive strategies.
In 2011, I sought to deepen my understanding of radio and broadcasting by attending the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for voiceovers and honed the art of operating a successful podcast with MMA Mayhem Radio. My extensive experience in live interviews is evident through my work with MMAMayhemRadio.com and Rampage Pro Wrestling.
In 2013, I was recognized as the Critics' and Fans' Choice for MMA Journalist of the Year by GeorgiaFighters.com, all while working with MMA Mayhem Radio.

Juneteenth (officially Juneteenth National Independence Day) is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Deriving its name from combining June and nineteenth, it is celebrated on the anniversary of the order by Major General Gordon Granger proclaiming freedom for slaves in Texas on June 19, 1865 (two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued).[7] Originating in Galveston, Juneteenth has since been observed annually in various parts of the United States, often broadly celebrating African-American culture. The day was first recognized as a federal holiday in 2021, when President Joe Biden signed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act into law after the efforts of Lula Briggs Galloway, Opal Lee, and others.Early celebrations date back to 1866, at first involving church-centered community gatherings in Texas. They spread across the South and became more commercialized in the 1920s and 1930s, often centering on a food festival. Participants in the Great Migration brought these celebrations to the rest of the country. During the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s, these celebrations were eclipsed by the nonviolent determination to achieve civil rights, but grew in popularity again in the 1970s with a focus on African American freedom and African-American arts. Beginning with Texas by proclamation in 1938, and by legislation in 1979, every U.S. state and the District of Columbia has formally recognized the holiday in some way. Juneteenth is also celebrated by the Mascogos, descendants of Black Seminoles who escaped from slavery in 1852 and settled in Coahuila, Mexico.

Actor, writer and producer Paul Sidhu is rapidly becoming a major force in independent cinema, having recently top-lined seven different films. He currently stars opposite Kristanna Loken, Gary Daniels and Corbin Bernsen in director R. Ellis Frazier’s action thriller, Repeater from Saban Films, in which his hitman character is hired to track down a hacker/whistleblower. The film opens in theaters on December 9 and on VOD, December 13.
Sidhu also stars in Uppercut, director Robert Beaumont’s upcoming romantic drama about an awkward attorney whose life trajectory is changed by his female boxer client. He also takes the lead in Deep Stage, an action drama about a former professional drag racer and part time drug dealer who is recruited by the DEA to take down a dangerous kingpin. Sidhu stars in, produces and co-wrote another action drama – Escape from Black Water – about an attorney who travels to the other side of the world to find what happened to his missing fiancée, but winds up in a prison convicted of her murder.
A native of New Delhi, India who grew up in the Pacific Northwest, Paul was more interested in clinical psychology than drama in high school. Following that path, he attended the University of Washington, where he determined that medicine was his career goal. He later received a Masters Degree in Public Health from Tulane University, where he also graduated from medical school and switched his discipline from psychology to dermatology. As a doctor, he served his residency at the University of Southern California, and soon opened his dermatology practice, which was very successful.
It was in Los Angeles, while befriending many people in the local arts community – actors, writers, directors – that Paul achieved what he terms a personal renaissance, which revived a nascent fascination with films and filmmaking.
His first film foray as a lead actor, writer and producer was Aakhari Decision, in which he portrays a reluctant assassin who is dragged back into his dangerous profession when he falls in love. Not only did the film get a major theatrical release in India, but it made a cool profit for its investors.
Turning to science fiction, he starred in and wrote 2307: Winter’s Dream, a futuristic sci-fi action film, set in the 24th Century, in which he portrayed a retired special forces humanoid hunter who is pulled out of retirement to hunt down the leader of a humanoid rebellion.

Cameron Sean Ganis was born in New York on December 15, 1993, to John and Catalina Ganis at only three pounds. He has always been a fighter showing his relentlessness, passion, and a reason to keep going fourth towards his dream. He grew up in a bi-racial household along with two brothers. His father played the guitar since he was sixteen, and at the age of sixteen Cameron picked up a pen and pad and started creating his own sound. Today his biggest influencers are Drake, Lil Wayne, China Mac, Machine Gun Kelly, Joyner Lucas, Russ, Eminem, Chris Brown, and Justin Bieber to name a few. This up-and-coming vocalist, songwriter and rap artist had some major obstacles in his life. Both of his parents had a kidney transplant a few years ago, which took a toll on him, but because of his perseverance and love for music, he was able to overcome these obstacles. Cameron feels that he gets his drive from his mom, being that she overcame a few obstacles of her own. This thriving young artist also knew about the importance of getting an education, so he enrolled in the State University of New York at Fredonia near Canada. When his parents fell sick, he needed to be closer to home, so he enrolled at the University of Central Florida, the largest college in the United States earning a full scholarship.

Actor Martin Harris has a supporting role in writer/director David O. Russell’s star-studded 1930s murder mystery, Amsterdam from Fox starring Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Rock, Timothy Olyphant and Robert DeNiro among other opening in theaters everywhere October 7.
He also recently portrayed a Czech police officer in Netflix’s edgy international thriller, The Gray Man; he co-starred opposite Colin Firth in The Staircase biographical crime series; he played a German bartender opposite Tony Dalton in the final season of Better Call Saul; and he’s one of actor David Harbour’s fellow prisoners in a Soviet gulag in the latest season of the acclaimed science fiction series Stranger Things.
A native of Wroclaw, Poland, Martin started his career as an international sportswriter, broadcaster and author, with a specialty in NBA basketball. Not only did he write a best-selling book about the Los Angeles Lakers, but he credits the late Kobe Bryant for giving him the salient advice to follow his dreams and become an actor.
Prior to Bryant’s advice, Martin got a quick dose of film history when he became fascinated with a DVD set of the twenty-five best movies of all time. That combined with a passion for James Bond movies and the cinema of Robert De Niro led him to become an actor in Hollywood.
After studying intensely at the Stella Adler Theater and the Beverly Hills Playhouse, Martin began to land gradually larger roles in major television and film productions. These included the part of Lt. Nikolai Zybulski, a primary adversary in TNT’s The Last Ship post-apocalyptic series; a Croatian agent in the controversial feature The Hunt; and a prison tower sharpshooter in Red Notice.
When he isn’t working in film and television, Martin loves rock music (he once headlined a heavy metal band called Army of Darkness back in Poland), and he also does significant voice work for computer and video games - one of those voices is fan-favorite “Krueger,” the beloved character on Call of Duty.

Calli Graver has shaped a versatile career as a crossover vocalist capable of stepping up to the plate of any music genre. Raised by musician parents in Lancaster, PA, Calli’s love for jazz, classical and pop helped shape the genre-bending sound heard in her original music today. Not only has she sung with legends like Josh Groban, Aretha Franklin, and Andrea Bocelli, but she’s also been honored to work with several symphonies, orchestras and philharmonics spanning the nation. Calli is currently in the studio with producer Ben O’Neil (John Legend, Jill Scott) putting the finishing touches on her next album due for release in the summer of 2022.
Calli relocated to Philadelphia to pursue her degree from the University of the Arts. She received a Bachelors of Music in vocal performance, followed by a Masters of Music in the jazz studies program. She has performed with prominent jazz figures since graduating, including Christian McBride, Peter Nero, and co-produced an original jazz suite entitled “The Divine Lorraine.” Calli’s first solo endeavor was the holiday jazz album “Cheer!” that she released in 2017.
The impact of Calli’s musical schooling led her to also become an accomplished music educator, helping to ignite the same passion in her students that her educators gifted her. Calli is an adjunct professor at Millersville University and Community College of Philadelphia, teaches k-12 vocal instruction at The Shipley School and Lumberton School of Music, and teaches private lessons from her home. “My biggest job as a teacher is to help my students learn about themselves, their instrument, and find a voice. In that, I’ve found even deeper joy and understanding in my own music” says the artist.
In addition to much of Calli’s time spent performing in various Philadelphia based bands, she finds balance in time with friends and family. A perfect night off for Calli includes trying a hopefully delicious new recipe, watching a favorite tv show, then laying upstairs on the roof deck in South Philly. She loves to learn and still strives to enjoy daily comforts, and her new music certainly reflects that. “The Sun’s In My Eyes” accompanies fans in their day to day journeys, exploring sophisticated writing and musicianship from her incredible band with warmth, nostalgia, and plain ol’ fun!
Calli’s vocal abilities and expressive nature are on full display with this exciting music, and as many projects were delayed due to the happenings of the world, she has anxiously awaited the release of this project!

Comedian Stephen Sorrentino has brought audiences to hysterics with his quick-witted humor, incredible singing voice, and spot-on mimicry throughout his career. Sorrentino is a true showman known as a comedian, singer, and impressionist, all rolled into one. Hailed by Variety for his “hilarious, show-stealing gusto,” Sorrentino has shared the stage with superstars such as Patti LaBelle, Dennis Miller, Dana Carvey, and the legendary Debbie Reynolds. However, as a 3rd generations showbusiness professional, this Long Island
native always knew that he wanted to pursue a career in music and theatre, learning to play piano, sax, flute, and guitar at a young age. Stephen first stepped on stage at the age of 5 by introducing his grandfather and singing an Irish duet. By the sixth grade, he was doing mock “Tonight Shows,” where a friend would play Johnny Carson, and the young Sorrentino would portray all the other guest stars on the show.
Sorrentino was involved in musical theatre during high school and college and began musical composition, eventually landing a publishing deal with Famous Music /Paramount, signing recording contracts. At Paramount, he realized that his cousin was “The Boss” himself: Bruce Springsteen. After a subsequent record release, Sorrentino formed a groundbreaking tribute act, eventually touring 25 countries and 43 states, performing for Disney, Dick Clark, and Legends in Concert, making him the # 1 Elton John impersonator in the world.
While performing in Atlantic City, Sorrentino was cast in his first of 21 film roles, as a Mafia boss/drag queen in the cult hit comedy, Homo Heights (a comedy), also stars literary and film icon Quentin Crisp and actress lea Delaria (Orange is the new Black) Following the film, he studied at The Second City, with Martin de Maat, one of the most respected teachers of improvisational theatre. Since then, Sorrentino has starred in several award-winning independent films for Showtime, sitcoms for FOX and NBC, and appearances on “America’s Most Wanted,” “7 Days,” and “The Jimmy Kimmel Show.” After several appearances on “Hollywood Squares,” dozens of radio and TV talk shows, and more than 50 TV commercials, Sorrentino decided it was time to create his show, Voices in My Head. Voices features 14-cast members and has toured the United States, enjoyed successful runs at the Riviera and Paris hotels in Las Vegas, and Atlantic City’s Tropicana, receiving rave reviews in every venue. Sorrentino has also appeared in the History Channel’s “Only In America,” with Larry The Cable Guy, touring Europe to sell houses for six straight months.
Sorrentino has received the distinguished honor of being named “Male Impressionist of the Year” by the International Guild of Celebrity Impersonators and Tribute Acts (IGCITA) for three years in a row and won Best Actor in the 48-hour film competition for "The Industry."
Recently, Sorrentino has broadened his horizons to return to his roots in musical theater and included a two-month run as Mr. Bumble in the Musical OLIVER and played five roles in ANNIE production with "All in the Family "star Sally Struthers.

Montee Tayion Holland is the President and CEO of the Tayion Collection. He is a Detroit, Michigan, native and Marine Corps veteran who will often describe his clientele as Renaissance men. That descriptor is also an accurate portrayal of Holland himself. He is a self-made businessman who left a job at Pfizer to step out on faith to begin designing. In 2003, Holland had his first successful showing at the Las Vegas Magic Garment Industry Convention. Holland has since created an international brand that successfully distributed in excess of $40M in merchandise. The brand also has a notable repertoire of patrons including business professionals, public dignitaries and celebrities.
In May of 2019, Holland was selected to participate in The Workshop at Macy’s. It is a best-in-class vendor development program created by the iconic brand and retail leader Macy’s. It was during this participation in this workshop that he garnered the attention of MBE Capital Partners, LLC and was approved for a $10M line of credit based on the successful history of the Tayion Collection, information received from Macy’s and references from procurement officers at multiple Fortune 500 companies. The funds will be used for large-scale projects in the United States and abroad. Tayion Collection has executed multiple licensing partnerships with major apparel companies (Peerless Clothing, Versa Group and Bespoke Fashion) over the last year that will catapult the brand into the largest retail accounts in the world. Holland, who has undergraduate and graduate degrees in education, volunteers his free time at high schools. He has also secured millions of dollars in scholarship funds for aspiring college-bound young black men.
Holland has been a connoisseur of fashion since a very young age. He always had a knack for putting things together. Holland turned that passion into an international line of men’s suits that premiered its new Fall 2020 collection in February of 2019 at the Las Vegas Magic Show Convention. That premiere also introduced the Tayion Collection’s first outerwear line for men and women.
