Tired & True is a candid discussion about life with chronic illness -- a topic Jason and Laurie are literally tired of talking about. Jason suffers from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS)... and his wife Laurie's tired of Jason being tired. So after six years of good days and bad days, they want to share the truth that has helped sustain them in hopes that they might help others who are tired too.
Jason and Laurie briefly talk about the latest happenings in the ME/CFS community. They spend most of the time talking about the universal experience of weakness associated with ME/CFS - physical, emotional, and spiritual. Jason offers hope to Christians who suffer from any kind of long term illness!
In this very first episode, Jason and Laurie share a little about themselves, why they are doing a podcast about being tired (when they really are fun people), and part of Jason's story of the early, hard days of getting a diagnosis.
