If a person gives up easily, shuts communication down, and or has a history of failed relationships and nothing is ever this person’s fault—this is a red flag.

When one shows contempt in a relationship they lose the desire to protect the relationship and rather move to protect themselves. With that comes defensiveness, disrespect, and lack trusts. This is a red flag.

If you feel like you are walking around eggshells around the same person constantly, and instead of supporting where you’re going they are always bringing up where you’ve been. That’s a red flag! Criticism is one of the main things that can destroy a relationship.
Bible Verses: 1 Corinthians 13:4-5aPaul defines love as being patient, kind, un-boastful, and humble. One of the key red flags towards a toxic relationship is someone who is all about themselves and doesn’t take the time to see you in the relationship.

Money wants to master us. How do we build resilience to its power in a culture of consumerism and envy? By realizing it isn’t ours and by giving it away! Generosity breaks the power of money over us.

God can use a person of faith despite their weaknesses and mistakes.
God is not waiting for you to be perfect before he can use you. He wants to perfect you through your willingness to be used.

False starts and failures are tools that prepare us for service if we don't give up.
Don't write yourself off when God has a future planned for you. Don't write anyone else off, you don’t know what God has planned for them.

Christmas for so many is a time of incomparable joy, and for others, incomparable pain. It is a time when we get to be with family, friends, and all that is good. For that reason, it is a time when those who have lost those things feel the deepest pain. The story of Christmas reminds us that one day the King who broke through our world two millennia ago will return to bring about a world where the joys of the holidays will last forever, and the pains that it brings will be forever abolished. This Christmas, live out every day with the hope that one day we will forever live in Holiday Bliss with Jesus as our King and his government as our place of residence.
This week, be that hope in the lives of those around us and around the world by giving to the Christmas offering!

A praying life is a triumphant life. Life abundantly is life lived knowing that your security is in God and no one else.
Use your victory verses in your prayer time this week to remind yourself that God has already made you triumphant.

The God who gives also forgives. He provides for our needs and supplies far more grace than we are accustomed to. He does this to give us an abundant life.
We can trust God to provide for us when we pray. We know that no matter how we feel about ourselves, He always embraces us as His Kids. This week use the “Our Father prayer” resource to pray to the God who loves you unconditionally.

We have an extravagantly wealthy Father who is for us. He cares for us deeply and wants us to live life to the fullest.
Jesus left us a pattern where he found time to be alone with his father. In his model of prayer, he thought us to address God as Father. This week choose a space where you can begin connecting with your Father regularly. Use the “How to set up your prayer space” resource to get started.
The abundant life is rooted in a praying life. This praying life is deeply personal and it is through it we become accustomed to hearing from God. Jesus himself regularly went to a solitary place in order to pray, so we should too.
Series Introduction:
Life with God looks radically different than life as we know it. Often what looks trivial in the world around us is essential in the Kingdom of God & what seems crucial in our world is to be abandoned in the Kingdom. Jesus teaches us that life as we know it isn't as fabulous as it appears & he promises a life that we can live to the fullest: The Abundant Life. The abundant life is full of love, joy, peace, goodness, self-control, kindness, and contentment. it is a life driven by prayer. When provoked, be patient! Your provocation may be for the next generation!

In times of provocation, it’s easier to turn on one another instead of turning towards each other. However, a provocation is an opportunity for us to come together not fall apart.
With so much that happened in the U.S. this past week (January 6, 2020), what should the Christian response be? Is the church to take sides when provoked and poked to? There is a third option.
Jesus broke down our deepest divisions so that we can be bridges of peace to our world.
Life together is God’s dream for our world, and the church is the vehicle through which God brings it to reality.
At Newday, we believe Connection matters. Anything is possible when we do it together. Together we are unstoppable. If we pursue life together, we will find peace together, experience love together, grow stronger together, and together transform our world.
Doing life is hard enough; Doing church should be easier. We are committed to taking the obstacles out of the way and making it easier for people to find their way to God.
We believe that God has called Newday to share the gospel like never before, display His love like never before, and disciple the next generation like never before. We believe God wants to accomplish infinitely more in each of our lives than we have ever dared to hope. We want you to join in as we live it out together.
The bible from front to back is a collection of stories about better! It's writers, and central characters all believed in the beauty of better. The beauty of this "better" calls out to each of us in a sunset, in a child, in a pinecone, in a laugh, in a tear, or in a friend. C.S. Lewis called it Joy! This poignant joy, this beautiful better, is nothing less than God's presence calling us back to Himself, calling us back to where we are whole and new and complete and pure. At Newday, we believe in this beautiful, better.
The love inside of our community should spillover on the outside. Our gathering together is meant to motivate us to be a safe place wherever we go, together, serving the world.
Jesus is the hope of an authentic community. By His sacrificial love, He offers us his true love to share. As we receive the love of Christ, we give that same love to each other.
The church should be safe enough for me to share my story and share my struggles and apprehensions, and find unconditional love. It is the one place where no matter where I am in my story, I find the encouragement to stay the course and continue the journey.
The church should look like the triune God! A circle of deep connectedness— so interrelated, interconnected that we become one.
Only broken people can share a genuine spiritual community. Instead of trying to impress each other, we should bare our brokenness to one another to bear the burdens together.
Only the church can demonstrate God’s eternal purpose to rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. Because there are others in God's Creation, he is taking definite time to make sure his church is safe to save and be there with them. Jesus not only proved living a life of submission and obedience is possible, he is counting on his church to do it here in these last days.
While many world religions are based on their religious tenets, Chritians live their lives based on Jesus of Nazareth. If there was no Jesus, there would be no Christian faith for people to live by. What makes Jesus so powerful and believable is that He replicates Himself in every culture and community.
Only the church can be a witness to the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. In this first of a new sermon series, Dr. Robert Davis shares how the church receives the Holy Spirit describing the how he moves and what it truly means to be a part of God's church on earth.
The first and most important responsibility the church has in the fight against racism and bigotry in the church is to confront it head on. Paul rebuked Peter in Galatians 2:1-16 because he knew bigotry and racism would undermine the witness of the church, would harm the unity in the body of Christ and would make us unprepared to live in Heaven.

It's an unfortunate reality of today's world: loneliness is an epidemic, even among people who are members of churches. How does the gospel address this and what can we do as members of Christ's body to help those who face loneliness? Pastor Dave shares some powerful research and Bible answers.
God has a number of ways he helps us to remember him. The Last Supper and events there in the upper room are among some of the most important and longest lasting.
Is the death of an evil person the end of their justice? Will evil and all associated with it go on living forever in an eternally burning hell? Titus 2:13 - "Looking for that blessed hope, and glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ." KJV Every eye will see him and it will not be a quiet event for the world in a corner somewhere. We believe Jesus will return in glory with all of his glory.
What could go wrong talking about money? In this message Pastor Dave shares insights on why it's important to remember, God owns everything and money we think is ours, isn't. Therefore it changes how we spend and save, give and prioritize the resources he has given us.
"There's only day I can keep holy, because there's only one day he [God] made holy." Learn about the biblical Sabbath and be blessed with a true rest as you discover, or rediscover what it means to let the Sabbath be a part of your life.
Let no one believe they cannot make a difference. We all can, and God has given to each of us the very best way for us and those around us to change our world, even in a small way.
What's missing? CH _ _ CH While God is perfect, his church is not -- because it's made up of imperfect people. But the church is still the hope of the world because in it are people who know God and his voice, shining a light into the darkness.
If we are not saved by grace, we are doomed. Nothing we do will save us. Period. We believe, as does the vast majority of the Christian faith in the grace enough to save lost humanity to change our eternal destiny.
Long before humanity made its fateful choice to rebel, rebellion was already afoot in the universe. Where did it come from, and where is it going? How will the story end?
Many, many people are Christians because the "blessed hope" (Titus 2:13) which is the return of our King, Jesus Christ. It gives the beginning of understanding, if not hope precisely because Jesus conquered the grave. We believe it will be soon.
