Hello CSPNation! Today we are releasing our first episode of new series: Characteristics of Kingdom Citizens. If you’re a believer in Christ, we want to remind you that your citizenship is not of this world. You are not a permanent resident of this world! There is a Kingdom coming and we are its citizens! Yet many don’t live like kingdom citizens. There are some who don’t know how to live as kingdom citizen.
These next few episodes we will be breaking a down the sermon on the mount taught by Jesus in Matthew Chapter 5,6,7 into different series, starting in Matthew chapter 5:1 – 16. Jesus gives us a description of the characteristics of kingdom citizens.
Matthew 5:3 is our starting place: “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

When Jesus came to this Earth he sent us all free including those in Israel, and yet...even today...people still want to go back to bondage. However, just as verse 5 says God sent forth his Son who died for us so we could be delivered from under the law we have now become adopted sons! This episode was recorded three or four weeks back and some current events have changed but the message is still the same: Persecution awaits us. Its closer then ever. Just remember what Christ told us in Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Persecution may hurt, it may ruin relationships, and countless lives but one thing is for certain. Those who face persecution there reward is the KINGDOM!
