Welcome to the Sprint to Profit Podcast for Amazon Sellers. Today we’re going to talk about one of the key areas that you will need to focus on to take your business from a one-person show where you do everything and scale only at your own pace into a full business where you have a team helping you to grow your business in ways that you didn’t know were possible. To get time freedom in your life, you will need to hire strategically in your business, and that means, you need to hire the best talent you can at key points in the business’s life cycle.

We previously talked about the FREEDOM EQUATION (MONEY + TIME + ENERGY = FREEDOM). Neither time or energy are finite resources. You need to do something, which lets you recharge both of those things. One of the best ways to get more time and energy for this equation is to hire the right people to free up that time and energy for you.

Welcome to the Sprint to Profit Podcast for Amazon Sellers. Today we wanted to bring up some of the struggles Amazon sellers have been facing in dealing with compliance. Not to mention, what is now expected of sellers versus what they may have thought they could do in previous years (as of November 2021). We are going to be speaking about how to stay compliant with Amazon, what you should do as a seller, and when you need to do it.

We are not telling you all this to scare you. We want to make sure you are protected and staying on the right side of both Amazon’s policies and actual laws. If you do things right, you have a lot less to worry about.

We want to emphasize that these are compliance rules that are in effect in November of 2021. Amazon is constantly changing their policies so if you’re listening to this, far into the future, the Amazon ecosystem could look a lot different.

Welcome to the Sprint to Profit Podcast for Amazon Sellers. Today we are continuing our series on becoming a REAL CEO by being more accountable to your business and we will discuss how you can grow your business the right way to have accountability built into it from the start.

To not only be a CEO but a true leader in your business, you really have to have an Extreme Ownership Mindset and actions. For us that’s about owning everything 100%, and is a concept that was put into a book by Jocko Willink. For about 99.9% of all issues, there is a solution, and they have the control to create that solution. If we as entrepreneurs and CEOs don’t take 100% responsibility and hold ourselves and our team accountable for the ups and downs in the business, then our businesses will be far less likely to grow in a sustainable way.

So, today we are going to talk about how you can take on Extreme Ownership and own everything in your business (not JUST the things you’re responsible for).

Welcome to the Sprint to Profit Podcast for Amazon Sellers. In this episode, we have the 11th part of our continuing series on how to become a REAL CEO in your Amazon Business. Today’s focus is all about how to have a business which runs well with (or without) you, and how you can maintain your sanity without feeling like a slave to the business.

It is important to be able to delegate and automate what you can so you can avoid burnout. When you’re running your own business, it is easy to say that YOU have to do everything, but in reality, you can’t. Burnout is most often caused by this mindset of “I am the only one that can do these things.” Today is all about defining and assigning roles in your business, automating what you can, and guiding a business into the path where it can operate without you.

“We don’t want to just remain either a daily worker or a manager of employees in our business either.” - Kirsty

“It doesn’t cost a lot to hire out if the systems and processes are in place with documentation on how to do the work.” - Isaac

In this episode, we are going to be speaking with Curt Humrichouser and James Falconer from SellerRocket.io which is a platform that helps ecommerce businesses get discovered by major publishers to expand the reach of their business to sites that can draw crowds to their stores and listings through affiliate marketing and publishing.

We would like to preface this episode with the warning that these techniques we are discussing today are not for sellers who are getting a first product started, and these techniques are not designed to drastically change your ranking or the effectiveness of your business on Amazon unless you have already maxed out your listing on ranking and Amazon PPC. These techniques are specific to sellers who are already established and want to see even more success.

New sellers don’t have to fret, Curt, James, and SellerRocket isn’t a one-size-fits-all. If you are new, they still have some possible techniques for you and for your business. Listen in to hear what they have to say about affiliates, publishing, and how to make your business more successful than ever.

Welcome to the Sprint to Profit Podcast for Amazon Sellers. In the 9th part of the How to Be a REAL CEO in Your Amazon Business series, we’re going to talk about the benefits of building relationships within the Amazon seller world and how to network in order to stay connected in a fairly isolated and solitary profession. Most Amazon sellers spend a majority of their time without having someone to consult with or turn to in an in-person setting. Because of this, it is crucial to think outside of the box to find ways to network.

Crowdsourcing problems, multiple minds sharing ideas and solutions, hypothetical help, and toxic relationships are all on the docket today. We also talk about the concept of “Your win-win network is your net worth,” and what the difference is between that philosophy and the more commonly conveyed version. Welcome back to the Sprint to Profit Podcast for Amazon Sellers. In this episode, Kirsty and Isaac talk about the inventory restrictions that Amazon has put on every product that is shipped into their FBA Warehouses. The thing about launching new products is that we have historically always talked about ordering enough inventory so you don’t run out. Depending on your forecasted sales obviously but usually means you need 1500-2000 units or more of a product to last you about 2-3 months. You have to start planning for the next 6 months to work around this right now.

13:46 - “It’s a bit of a chicken and the egg situation because, unfortunately, as you’re selling through FBM, it’s not telling Amazon’s warehouse that you’re selling that product through.” - Kirsty

03:09 - “There are a lot of people panicking out there. So we just want you to know that there are plans and processes in place to get over this hurdle.” - Isaac

17:57 - “You really want to make sure that you plan it out accordingly to where you don’t run out in FBA but also you don’t run out in FBM when you’re shipping.” - Isaac
