Do you have a cheerful heart when it comes to giving? Do you see someone in need and turn away or reach into your pocket to help? You reap what you sow! Look for someone to bless! Be generous! God gave His One and Only Son and yet we complain about giving. Be generous and be blessed!
Do you want to meet the right person but can’t seem to find them anywhere…including church? Date Jesus! Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Seek FIRST the Kingdom of heaven and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you as well. Let’s spend our lives making Jesus famous and watch what happens!
What makes you happy? Are you running after the things of this world or running after intimacy with God? The answer to both of these questions will determine if you are REALLY happy or if it’s just a fleeting feeling.
“All by myself…don’t wanna live…All by myself anymore!” WHAT? You’re never alone! God has promised never to leave nor forsake you! Don’t let those depressing lyrics become your truth!
“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
No matter where you are in life, Gods love never changes. You can’t say or do anything to prevent God from loving you. You may be lost and far from God at this very moment…Know this…He‘s up in Heaven saying, “I Will Always Love You!”
How long can you hold on to that bitterness and rage? How long will hold a grudge? We get lost down a winding road when SORRY SEEMS TO BE THE HARDEST WORD!
What is it that you refuse to give up that causes you to run with the devil? You have power and authority to crush the enemy under your feet. Maybe it’s time to change a few things?
For the next several weeks I’m going to take a look at secular songs and the meaning behind those songs. I hope these podcasts make you think about what we listen to on a regular basis.
