The theme this week is “Unexpected Endings”. On this week’s episode, Mookie comes to us with a fan recommendation about an 85-year-old woman who took on an alligator to save her pooch and things didn’t quite end the way she expected. Erica highlights a crazy sibling fight over what must be AMAZING key lime pie that landed one of the brothers in some hot water.

Story 1

An 85-year-old woman recently took her dog for a walk when an alligator snatched the woman’s dog. The woman sprang into action, which is impressive given her age! Unfortunately, things didn’t turn out the way she’d expected… I’m guessing

A man much too old to be physically fighting with his sibling over pie recently had a physical fight with his sibling over pie when he dumped water on his head. ‘How old is he?’ you may ask? Too old for that. And the courts think so, too!

Intro

On this week’s episode, Mookie tells of a tale as old as time while Erica reviews a HUGE lawsuit filed by 50 Cent in defense of his manhood.

Story 1

You know how it goes… two people fall in love. Madly in love. Crazy in love. It’s the story of a love so strong that a woman burns down her boyfriend’s house because, well, she loves him so much… that’s love, right?! When a woman called her boyfriend and another female picked up the phone, she didn’t need to know anything else. She knew what that meant. It meant that her man was cheating, and she wasn’t having it. So, she marched (well, drove) over to his house & set it ablaze. Way to go, right?! Wrong. Because the female on the other end of the phone wasn’t just “another woman”…

Story 2

A while ago 50 Cent took a pic with a woman that seemed innocent enough. Until that woman used his pic to advertise her penile enlargement practice in a way that 50 argues looks as though he is a client of said procedure. And 50 wants it known that he does NOT need help in that area. At all. Like… at all. Ask Jamira Haines, Taraji P. Henson, Kim Kardashian, Daphne Joy, Chelsea Handler, Naomi Campbell, Paris Hilton, Ciara, Vivica A. Fox, Mariah Carey… who else?

On this week’s episode, Mookie and Erica talk to Serena, a former Georgia Teacher of the Year who left teaching last year. Serena details the issues that led to her decision to leave a profession she passionately poured herself into for years. It’s an eye-opening discussion about what our teachers are facing every day. And maybe it will lead to positive changes. Leading into the talk with Serena, Mookie opens with an article about the teacher shortage crisis. (and because this is a comedy podcast) Erica closes with a story about nudie pics held hostage at Ivy League schools.

Intro

On this week’s episode, put down your sandwich before Mookie explains what vabbing means while Erica hands out unsolicited medical advice for curing kidney stones.

Smells like Female Spirit!

While perusing social media, Mookie saw a reference to “Vabbing”. Curious, he researched the phrase only to uncover a practice some women have been using to beckon men that involves rubbing lady juice on their necks, wrists, etc. to attract a mate. Look out, Chanel! I wonder what THAT perfume commercial will look like. Urban Dictionary refers to “Vabbing” as “Coochie Couture”. Classy, right?

Prescription for FUN!

Do you suffer from mild-to-moderate kidney stones? Then Disney World’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad may be right for you. Ask your doctor if you are pregnant or nursing. Side effects include laughter, giddiness, uncontrollable arm movements, funny facial expressions, screaming in momentary fear/excitement, hair standing on end, and in some cases, even death. Do not ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or shorter than 5’ tall. Don’t let kidney stone pain get YOU down! Ask your doctor today about Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and tell kidney stones to take a hike.

Intro

On this week’s episode, Mookie tells the crazy story of a man who was popped for selling drugs out of a vending machine while Erica recounts the story of a woman who goes to unusual lengths to do what brings her joy!

Technically, It Wasn’t ME!

A Detroit man was arrested for selling drugs. What makes this story unique is that HE didn’t actually HAND the drugs to anyone. He simply acquired a vending machine, as one does. Except, rather than placing trail mix, candy bars, and chips in the machine, he put drugs in the machine. So, ACTUALLY, the machine was selling drugs… right?

I Identify as Happy!

A UK mom watched the popular Marie Kondo Netflix show that shows watchers how to organize and de-clutter by getting rid of all of the things we hold on to that don’t truly bring us joy. While watching the show she had an epiphany: her name had to go! Ladies & gents, I present to you: Marie Unicorn Sparkles! I’m pretty sure it’s impossible to be unhappy with a name like that!

Intro

On this week’s episode, Mookie tells the incredible story of a man whose fall down the stairs has set an interesting legal precedence for remote workers while Erica recounts the arrest of a woman who fed her son’s hunger with a bomb threat. Cuz that’s appropriate, right?!

Brokeback Staircase!

A man in Germany successfully argued that he was owed a Workplace Accident Insurance payout for an injury that occurred at his home. The man was walking down his spiral staircase to his desk when he fell and broke his back. Though the case was passed through several courts, the Germany’s federal social court ultimately ruled that his fall happened during his “commute” to work and, therefore, was a workplace accident. So… y’all walk careful!

You Can’t Say Bomb on a Phone!

A Florida mom went full-on Mama Bear when her high-school-aged son came home HONGRY. An altercation occurred with the son and the poor lunch lady who wouldn’t give him a SECOND lunch. In response, his mom allegedly called in a bomb threat to the school. Police were able to identify her through caller ID and arrest her. Did baby boy ever get more food?

Intro

On this week’s episode, Mookie recounts the strange reason a Nebraska Police Chief resigned from his post while Erica tells a story that explains that not all rocks are dumb.

Love and Body Cam!

Sometimes love makes you to do stupid things. Just ask Bruce. Bruce Ferrell had a good run as Police Chief for Wahoo, Nebraska. But not for a pesky body cam, he probably would still have the job. However, once some of his fellow officers discovered evidence of an amorous encounter Bruce had with a citizen who called for help with a domestic situation… and help Bruce did! The ultimate romantic found-footage film, look for Bruce’s bodycam love debut to have the cultural importance of The Blair Witch Project. No word yet on a release date. But I’m excited.

That’s a Nice Boulder!

A farmer in Belgium was just trying to plow his field but this huge boulder was in his way. Not to be deterred, he took matters into his own hands to prove that the game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, Human, the human will win every time. But he didn’t realize that by moving the boulder, he’d unwittingly invaded France! The boulder wasn’t just a rock. It was a boundary delineation marker that was originally placed in 1819. And it may have gone unnoticed had it not been for a tattle-tale historian who had a habit of walking the boundary line. Luckily, all was settled amicably, and everyone had a good laugh. Probably everyone except the farmer who still has that annoying boulder in his way.

Intro

On this week’s episode, Mookie tells the story of a man who “miraculously” grew after he stopped growing, thanks to a strong partnership between medicine and construction techniques, while Erica recounts the stinky situation one woman recently found herself in when she lost her phone.

How’s the Weather Dow…Up There!

With everyone sitting in front of computers more and more over the past few years, plastic surgeons have been quite vocal about the uptick in cosmetic procedures. Finding ourselves staring at our own faces for hours and hours every day on video calls, people are flocking to doctors to fix wrinkles or any other number of features that a person may be fixated on. But what about height? As “Scott” explains, size DOES matter. And medicine agrees.

Well, that Stinks!

A few months ago, a Washington State woman found herself in a situation that can only be described as [insert heaving puke sound here]. While out hiking she needed to relieve herself. She located a rest area in the forest and walked in to use the toilet. However, she dropped off more than she expected when her cell phone fell in the rudimentary latrine. And, at some point, she decided she would do anything- ANYTHING to get it back.

On this week’s episode, Erica divulges a disturbing trend of companies using facial recognition to force users to watch ads while Mookie tells the tale of an unfortunate man whose decision to shoot cocaine into his penis led to some really dark consequences.

Don’t Look Away!

MoviePass is coming back in a strange way, y’all. After revamping an original business model that was failing, the leaders of MoviePass are rolling out a new way to get results. Users will still enjoy discounts and free movie passes but ONLY IF they watch advertisements in their entirety. How will the powers that be know if users aren’t really watching? Facial recognition.

Um… It’s Not Supposed to Look Like That!

A man recently went to the hospital with a strange problem caused by an unfortunate act. Looking for a new vein to use, a man decided that the large vein in his man meat would be a great way to deliver drugs quickly into his body. Unfortunately, he got more than he bargained for when his penis became swollen and turned black (and not in a good way).

On this week’s episode, Mookie describes some highway monkey business that resulted in what could possibly be beginning of Planet of the Apes while Erica tells of the mashed potato mystery that plagued one Jackson, MS neighborhood.

Monkey Business!

A truck carrying 100 monkeys crashed on its way to a lab. That’s pretty bad. But what happened to the three monkeys who saw the opportunity to run? Perhaps Pennsylvania will be a new hot spot for monkey business!

Holy Mashed Potatoes!

Back in 2019 residents of Jackson, MS were finding plastic bowls of mashed potatoes randomly placed around town. On cars, on mailboxes, on sidewalks… even porches weren’t safe from the delicious, whipped root. But who dunnit???

On this week’s episode, Editor Extraordinaire Nelson joins Erica and Mookie to provide a little insight into Being Nelson. Erica shocks the group with the story about a town that requires proactive appendix removal while Mookie has another crazy crook story up his sleeve!

Hey! That’s MY appendix!

Living in the Antarctic town of Villas las Estrellas is not for the faint of heart… or the lovers of their appendix. The town is so remote that the nearest hospital is over 600 miles away. A ruptured appendix in such a remote location and so far from medical care is a death sentence. So BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY! That appendix gotta go if you find yourself moving there.

These Chicken Wings? Yes, They’re Mine!

Demand can increase the value of just about anything and during the Super Bowl, chicken wings are gold. So a crook in Atlanta pulled off the equivalent of a bank heist when he broke into a restaurant and made off with hundreds of dollars’ worth of chicken wings!

On this week’s episode, Mookie tells of the experience some airline passengers had recently when a woman decided to breastfeed her baby… cat mid-flight while Erica recounts the story of a Florida man who kidnapped a scientist in the hopes of keeping his dog around forever.

Free Tha Ta-Tas! Wait…

Passengers on a recent flight got the shock of their lives when a woman on a plane from Syracuse, NY bound for Atlanta, GA started breastfeeding a cat mid-flight. There’s not much more to say about it than that… it was gross. And it’s not the only time it’s happened!

Doctor, Can You Save Him?

A Florida man (sorry, Florida) who couldn’t stand the thought of losing his pup, took his dog’s fate into his own hands when he kidnapped a scientist with the intention of granting his k-9 eternal life… Spoiler alert: it had a very Florida ending.

Intro

On this week’s episode, Mookie answers the question: what does a stolen car, a train, a house, and a crashed forklift all have in common? A DRUNK FLORIDA MAN! While Erica unearths the little-known story of the OG swindler Gregor MacGregor, the Prince of Poyais. Never heard of it? Hmmm.

Hold My Beer! This Forklift Won’t Crash Itself!

A few weeks ago, Florida was busy out-Florida-ing itself when a man decided to go to a local bar. After a lot of too many alcoholic beverages, he wisely figured it was time to go home. The problem was that he couldn’t find his car. He searched and searched all he could on foot but turned up nothing. So, he naturally realized he could increase the radius of his search if he had a car. Luckily, there were a lot to choose from in the bar parking lot. He “borrowed” one of the cars and took off in search of his own missing vehicle. All was good until the “borrowed” car got stuck on a train track. Sucks, right? You know what sucks even worse? An oncoming train. But that’s not where it ends! Take a listen. This story is SO Florida-Meets-The-Hangover. Hey, I’d watch that movie!

I’m a Prince, DAMMIT!

Waaay back in the 1800’s, this thing called the “Internet” didn’t exist. And a man named Gregor MacGregor took full advantage of the lack of knowledge sharing capability of the time for his own financial gain. He rose through the ranks of the British military to ultimately become a general. He earned wealth, social status, and (most imperative to his scheme) credibility. But if you know anything about our stories, it’s not gonna end well. To solidify his infamy, he created a country from his imagination and convinced TWO COUNTRIES of its existence. He even sold land to unsuspecting Brits and French (frenchies? French people? I have no idea what they’re called)! WHAAAT?

On this week’s episode, Mookie unveils the deadly details of yet ANOTHER stupid crime while Erica stinks up the episode with the story of a UK nurse who sued her former employer for firing her because of… well, her stinky performance.

What about Uncle!

Two clever crooks thought up an “interesting” way to keep their uncle’s legacy alive. They drug his body into the post office to continue to collect his pension. The problem- uncle was DEAD.

Well, that Stinks!

When a UK nurse was fired from her job, she sued for wrongful termination. The hospital claims they fired her because she refused mental help. The nurse, however, claims the hospital reps reeked of lies.

Intro

On this week’s episode, Erica describes the seedy underbelly of the cut-throat world of camel beauty pageants while Mookie unveils one woman’s plot to highlight the lack of security at her daughter’s middle school in a “Freaky Friday” style plan that backfired… bad.

Sally the Camel has BOTOX!

With MILLIONS of dollars at stake, camel breeders have turned to Botox, fillers, and other crazy means to increase their camels’ chances of winning beauty pageants. Look out, Real Housewives! Camels are increasing demand on your supply!

Freaky Half a Day!

Thirty-year-old Casey Garcia began her day posing as her 13-year-old daughter at her middle school in a supposed attempt to highlight security issues. And she almost lasted a whole day! But she didn’t. And landed herself in legal trouble.

Intro

On this week’s episode, Erica recounts the harrowing survival story of the group of concert goers in the UK who found themselves snowed in WITH THE BAND! And Mookie tells us all about Snoop’s new land baron status in the METAVERSE!

Champagne Supernova in the Snow!

61 people came to Tan Hill Inn in the Yorkshire Dales, England to see Oasis cover band, Noasis. All was going great until snow and ice started falling, keeping concert goers stranded for three days. That’s when things went from great to AWESOME! The pub had all the food and drinks needed & the band had the entertainment. What more could anyone ask for???

The Metaverse is so Meta!

Snoop has conquered the world of rap, the world of cool beer commercials, AND won the contest for having the world’s craftiest best friend. So, what’s left to do?? OWN THE METAVERSE! Yes, Snoop is working on his own Metaverse. I wonder what the official past time will be…

Intro

On this week’s episode, Mookie retells the confining survival story of Essie Dunbar and Erica recounts the crazy situation one man found himself in when his cooler was towed.

Look! I’m Not Dead Anymore!

In 1915, Essie Dunbar had an epileptic seizure. A doctor declared her dead, unable to find a pulse. Essie’s sister lived in a neighboring town and needed time to get to the funeral but when she arrived, Essie’s casket was already in the ground. Essie’s sister begged to see her sister’s body one last time. To everyone’s surprise, as the last screws were removed from the casket, Essie sat up and smiled. Um… WHAT?

My Car is So Cool!

A man in Australia was recently charged with driving without a license. He was driving a “vehicle” with an engine, wheels, handlebars, a lid, and an insulated location capable of keeping drinks icy cold. That’s right! He was driving a cooler.

Intro

On this week’s episode, Erica tells a story that illustrates the dangers of self-love while Mookie recounts a harrowing encounter between two patrons and a McDonald’s worker that went south thanks to an inconvenient packet of Splenda.

It’s not Me, It’s Me!

An Instagram model from Sao Paolo, Brazil learned the hard way that sometimes love doesn’t last. The sad reality of marriage is when it ends in divorce. But… what happens when you’re stuck living with the person you’ve divorced for the rest of your life? What happens when you and your new spouse must now live with your ex? These questions are all relevant because this woman’s ex… is herself! That’s right! She married and is divorcing HERSELF!

That’s a Splenda Fight!

A couple in Locust Grove, GA made a lasting impression at a local McDonald’s. What began as a simple coffee order quickly escalated to chaos & terror when the couple was told the store was out of Splenda. The two customers began throwing coffee at the employees & threatening violence. I mean… I love coffee as much as the next caffeine-addicted person but this is a little much, right?

Intro

On this week’s episode, Mookie describes the crazy story of a very smart man who robbed a bank and instantly made a bad decision that ended in his capture. Erica renders Mookie speechless describing an art project with a sinister purpose… WELCOME TO 2022!!!

He Steals from Himself and Gives to Himself!

A California man robbed a Wells Fargo bank in Wilmington, DE. Seems like a foolproof plan, no? It’s what he did next that is, let’s say, counterintuitive. What did he do with the money???

That Coaster will be the Death of You!

In 2010 a Lithuanian artist with a PhD to get came up with a rollercoaster that I wouldn’t recommend riding. Luckily, it’s not an ACTUAL coaster. This coaster was invented to KILL! cue evil, maniacal laugh

Intro

On this week’s episode, Erica updates her story from episode 2. Pablo Escobar’s cocaine hippos are back in the news! Will they or won’t they legally become HUMANS??? That’s right! While all of that’s being decided, Mookie tells of the plight of New Zealand’s very own wizard! Did you know that New Zealand has a WIZARD? So many exclamation marks!!!

Cocaine Hippo, People!

Those crazy cocaine hippos left behind when Pablo Escobar’s drug dynasty collapsed are still causing trouble. This time, it’s a legal debate as to whether or not they can be declared human. The issue is that they are procreating quickly enough that the ecosystem can’t really support them. Animal rights groups want to make sure they aren’t killed and support sterilization as a way to protect the ecosystem and the hippos. The hippos as animals can’t compel someone to provide supporting documentation in a court case. Problem solved! They’re humans!

The Wizardly World of New Zealand!

Did you know that New Zealand has an official wizard??? Ian Brackenbury Channell has been the official wizard of Christchurch in New Zealand for decades. But now he’s back on the job market. Can he cast a spell to get his job back?? So far, not so much…

On this week’s episode, Mookie tells the hilariously embarrassing tale of the man who couldn’t find himself while Erica travels back in time to tell the story of the man who was executed for not killing a sitting president of the United States.

He’s Gone to Find Himself…

A man in Turkey had one wild night out! After getting drunk in the woods with his friends, he wandered off. His friends couldn’t find him so they assembled a search party… and then an unexpected helper joined.

You’re Gonna Put What WHERE?

US Presidents are known for a lot of things… but not many people know the story of the death of President Garfield. And how his last days were so bad that the CIA decided to use it as a torture technique!

Intro

On this week’s episode, Mookie spends the time trying not to die from laughter while Erica tells the tale of a man who held up a jewelry store in Brazil while being unarmed but still kinda dangerous and Mookie highlights the lengths that Michael Jackson went through to prove that pettiness knows no bounds when you have unlimited MJ money.

Unarmed and… Dangerous?

A man in Brazil held up a jewelry store. He was armed, which is ironic because he didn’t have the use of his arms. Nor could he speak or hear. That’s right. A deaf man who doesn’t have the use of his arms held up a jewelry store. How’d he do it and what happened next? LISTEN TO FIND OUT!

Petty, Party of One!

Michael Jackson was a lot of things. Extraordinarily talented, unique, misunderstood, RICH AS H E Double Hockey Sticks, and UBER PETTY. When he found out friend Paul McCartney was hoping to buy back the Beatles song catalogue, MJ swooped in & snagged it first. And that’s not all… listen to find out what else he did!

On this week’s episode, Mookie tells the tale of the bovine cargo spotted going through the McDonald’s drive thru while Erica highlights the lives of two women who may have been our last link to the Civil War.

Hungry Cow!

Wisconsin woman Jessica Nelson stunned the internet with a video she took of a car ahead of her in McDonald’s. What was unique about this car was its cargo… This sedan, not a trailer, car had calves (that’s right, baby cows) hangin out in the backseat!

That’s Civil!

2020 was a CRAZY year. Not only did we all have to figure out Instacart, but the world lost two ladies with a special connection. Irene Triplett was the last living US Civil War pensioner and Helen Viola Jackson was the widow of a Civil War soldier! Does that blow your mind? Cuz it did mine!

On this week’s episode, Mookie unleashes the terrifying news of 33 newly discovered 15,000-year-old viruses in Tibet while Erica delivers bad news to hotdog lovers.

Surprise! I got you a new virus!

Scientists studying glacier core samples from a glacier in Tibet found 33 newly discovered viruses that had previously never been seen by modern humans. These viruses were determined to be 15,000 years old!

PB&J is the new kale!

Thanks to science, we now know that the fountain of youth has been found in peanut butter! And the road to an early grave begins with hot dogs. But is life really worth living if you can’t eat delicious, albeit sometimes unhealthy, food?? YOLO, y’all.

On this week’s episode, Erica describes the childhood trauma imprinted upon the lives of several children attending a birthday party as they witnessed a gator deathroll it’s handler. And one dad who saved the day. Mookie walks us through the HUGE missed opportunity that pushed the development of one today’s most iconic companies.

Gator Love!

Lindsay Bull found herself fighting for her life against a co-worker in front of a group of kids and parents. Lindsay is an alligator handler for a company in Utah. As she opened the door, Darth Gator mistook her hand for a piece of chicken and pulled Lindsay into the enclosure. As she fought for her life, she finally got away thanks to one quick-thinking dad. Unfortunately, the kids got more education than they bargained for! I wonder if they had to pay extra for all the excitement.

Netflix isn’t a Blockbuster!

Just think: Netflix & chill could have been Blockbuster & chill! Not quite the same ring to it. Blockbuster’s CEO was given the opportunity to acquire Netflix back in the day but didn’t see the vision. I wonder if he wishes he had a time machine.

On this week’s episode, Erica tells the intriguing story of Lawrence Michael Handley’s “romantic” gesture gone horribly wrong while Mookie describes the crazy story about a woman who took advantage of a defenseless man. (And it turns out, was a hoax all along!)

Love Hurts!

Lawrence Michael Handley thought the best way to win back his wife was to make her think she was about to be killed. Unfortunately for him, it ended horribly and now he’s facing 35 years in prison for murder.

Dead Can’t Kiss & Tell!

The story of Felicity Marmaduke starts when she discovers she’s pregnant with her client’s child. Unfortunately for us, her “client” is dead. Because she works in a morgue! Apparently, she didn’t realize that dead men could “perform”. Lucky for all of us, this story turns out to be an intriguing hoax but it still stirs up some funny questions!

On this week’s episode, Mookie gives some crazy insight into production of the movie Cast Away and Erica tells us about the fiery destruction of a local Louisiana grocery store.

Cast Away to a Deserted Island!

Tom Hanks went through some pretty crazy extremes to deliver his performance in Cast Away.

She got Fired Up!

A woman in Louisiana recently broke into a local grocery story to light 13 fires! Luckily she was apprehended pretty easily, thanks to her unique attire.

On this week’s episode, Erica divulges the origins of the term “guy” and Mookie recounts the unfortunate assassination of Mr. P.

Hey, guy!

Thanks to Guy Fawkes’ failed plot to assassinate the king of England, we have something to call people other than “man”, “lady”, “you”, “chick”, “dude”, or, you know, calling someone by their name. After Guy got caught red-handed, his infamy lead to his name being synonymous with pretty much anyone!

Mr. P got Popped!

Who knew peacocks had enemies! Neighborhood peacock Mr. P earned himself an enemy who hated him so much, it ended with a craigslist request for a hitman and a murder!

Intro

On this week’s episode, Mookie recounts the struggle of Carnell Alexander who was jailed for not paying child support for a child that isn’t his and thanks to Shanna, Erica is now an expert on Coleslaw Wrestlin’.

Not that Baby’s Daddy!

Men, send Carnell Alexander an arrangement of edible fruit or money or SOMETHING because he’s fighting for all y’all. He was minding his business, being a productive member of society when his world imploded. A woman put his name on a birth certificate without his knowledge (and without reason) leading to years of legal and financial turmoil. Now he’s fighting to change the laws so that no one else finds himself in the same gut-wrenching situation.

Don’t Eat That Cole Slaw!

If you ever find yourself in need of $500, hop on over to Sopotnick’s Cabbage Patch Bar in Samsula, FL for Bike Week for a good ‘ole Cole Slaw wrestling match! This annual tradition is the highlight of Daytona’s Bike Week. Want a taste of what you’ll endure? Check out this video of Angela and Angry Beaver posted by YouTube user ChadGallavanter.

Intro

On this week’s episode, Mookie creeps Erica out with the origin story of the chainsaw and Erica intrigues Mookie with the story of Pablo Escobear.

Mommy, where do Chainsaws Come From?

When Leatherface wielded the chainsaw in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre to murder innocent people, I wonder if HE knew he was striking fear in the hearts of everyone by murdering with an obstetrics instrument? Thanks to an Instagram post, Mookie discovers the origins of the modern chainsaw is actually rooted in childbirth!

Pablo Escobear Stole the Coke!

Kentucky is known for the Kentucky Derby, big hats, and a taxidermized bear with a bit of a drug problem. In the early 80’s, former narcotics cop-turned-drug-trafficker Tony Thornton dumped a bag of coke in the North Georgia mountains. After a drug dump gone wrong, an unfortunate bear stumbled upon 40 bags of pure cocaine and became infamous, forever tied to a story proving that fact is stranger than fiction.

Intro

On this week’s episode, Erica discusses the little discussed impact of COVID on “love parties” and Mookie divulges the new trend of Stranger Photography Sessions.

Love Party Poopers

COVID restrictions have impacted our economy, our freedom, and apparently, expressions of love in some instances. These days, when groups of people gather, vigilantes take it upon themselves to make sure the cops know restrictions are being ignored, regardless of reason. Sometimes people gather to celebrate birthdays. Sometimes people gather to celebrate weddings. And sometimes, people gather to have one huge love fest.

On this week’s episode, Mookie drops some crazy facts about our favorite childhood breakfast food… CEREAL! And if that’s not mind blowing enough, Erica explains how the world’s worst Vaudeville act became legendary.

Cereal Liars

That sugary goodness that revved us up in the morning as kids has been hiding HUGE secrets. From the origin story to the flavor, you’ll never guess why it was invented in the first place and Froot loops isn’t what you think it is.

Cherry Bombs

Believe it or not, the Kardashians weren’t the first sisters to find fame with no talent. The Cherry sisters were branded the worst act ever but still sold out theaters!

A Florida man (y’all leave Florida alone) was stunned to learn that police found syringes (yes, plural) in his rectum after being arrested for drugs. How’d they get there??

On this week’s episode, Mookie takes us to Disney for a tour of abandoned theme parks! Creepy. Erica grosses us out with proof that sometimes people are full of shat.

Abandoned Disney

Disney parks conjure pictures of crowds and color and excitement but through the years, a few parks were left to rot after dwindling attendance and tragedy. Now the once bustling attractions are teeming with evidence that nature will always eerily take back what’s hers.

Poo Coffee Breath

The next time you take a sip of coffee, be very sure where it’s from. Kopi luwak is coffee made from the excrement of civets, cat-like animals that ingest the best coffee cherries and poop out the coffee beans. Then, someone decided to see what those poo beans would taste like as brewed coffee. Mmmmm.

When the mayoral incumbent of Povalikhino, Russia, Nikolai Loktev needed another candidate to run against, he asked the person cleaning the office to stand in. But much to his surprise, Marina Udgodskaya WON! Now, at 35, she’s trading in her cleaning apron for a politician’s suit.

But when it came time to inform him 161 investors and turn over the booty, good ole Tommy skipped town for 30 years. Intro

On this week’s episode, Erica explains how a Siberian ice maiden keeps COVID, earthquakes, and Hillary Clinton away and Mookie educates Erica about the bold Claudette Colvin who took a stand by sitting down before Rosa Parks.

She’s COLD!

A town in Siberia is COVID-free and they are thanking a 2,400 year-old mummy for that protection and for protecting the town against natural disasters, war, and even blame the mummy for Hillary Clinton’s failed presidential campaign in 2016! Erica fills you in on what HC did to cause the wrath of a tired, cold mummy to rain down on her.

Be a Claudette

You’ve heard of Rosa Parks but teenager Claudette Colvin did it first. At just 15 years old, Claudette was on a bus in Birmingham, Alabama when the driver told her to move. She refused. After being removed from the bus, the gutsy teen was jailed. Mookie describes the impact she had on the Civil Rights Movement.

On this week’s episode, Mookie tries to come to grips with singer Adele’s ex-husband allegedly taking all of her money and Erica discusses the environmental impact of Pablo Escobar’s cocaine hippos.

Adele needs Simon to Pay for Dinner

Singer Adele and her husband might have parted ways but he’s probably not too sad as he allegedly gets $140M of her fortune. Did she pee in his Cheerios? Who gets Angelo? Did she have Mr. Bean as a divorce lawyer? Erica and Mookie discuss possible scenarios that would cause the courts to take someone’s fortune and hand it over to the spouse that didn’t earn it.

Cocaine Hippos

Africa isn’t the only place you can find hippos! When Pablo Escobar left this earth, he gifted Colombia with lots of hippos that he bought to show off his drug money. To everyone’s surprise, those hippos have thrived. Environmentalists were initially pretty mad but now they’re cool with it.
