DADIO'S LUNCH BUCKET RADIO CLINIC - Live this week from Cool Dadio Media Studio 54 1/2 ...., in downtown Janesville, Wisconsin..., or at least what's left of it ...., and Dadio ....,

..., our 76th show over all ..., and ...., our 13th show from The Radio Clinic Lab at Cool Dadio Media Studio 54 1/2.

Dadio's Lunch Bucket has a little bit of everything. Live from the MY OFFICE JVL building, and sometimes on the road at local taverns and coffee shops, the Radio Clinic risks the perils of ad hoc radio. There is a working class blue-collar theme with local and regional interests that weave through the show. Some college degrees are mixed in. And, all along the way they try to give a voice to those ignored by the status quo.  Somehow, they entertain us all in the process.

Segments include but are not limited to:  Word Phrase; Fish Fry; Quiz; Blue-Collar Jobs; Wisconsin War Casualties; News and Comment; and..., Burgers.

You need to ask Dadio and his crew some questions..., the man comes with his own support group that is prepared and ready to pull him out of the holes he invariably digs himself into!

Call the show, play the quiz, win, make Dadio buy you a beverage at a local watering hole!

Dadio's Lunch Bucket has a little bit of everything. From time to time, live from the home studio at the MY OFFICE JVL building, and quite often on the road at local taverns and coffee shops, the Radio Clinic risks the perils of ad hoc radio.

You need to ask Dadio and his crew some questions..., the man comes with his own support group that is prepared and ready to pull him out of the holes he invariably digs himself into!

Call the show, play the quiz, win, make Dadio buy you a beverage at a local watering hole!

Executive Director of Rock County Historical Society Mike Reuter speaking about the new Tallman Technologies tour starting at the Tallman House, as well as other upcoming opportunities, offered by RCHS, to experience and learn about history of Rock County.

State Senator Tim Cullen spoke about his experience serving the public, his thoughts on Act 10, and ways to reverse it.  Senator Cullen spoke about leaving the state with the other Democratic State Senators in 2011 and explained his reasons for doing so.

Speaking about the August 12th Democratic primary, Senator Cullen criticized two of the candidates running for State Senate.  Senator levied particularly harsh criticisms against Mike Sheridan whom he accused of not accurately explaining the process of reapportionment to the public, and not being ready to be Speaker of Assembly when elected to the post in 2008, following a short time in the Assembly.  At the same time, Senator Cullen  offered a strong endorsement of his former aid Austin Scieszinski.

President of Blackhawk Technical College Dr. Eckert explained that passing the referendum on August 12th, is the only way for BTC to raise its budget. Dr. Eckert made it clear that the $4 million increase sought in the referendum is a permanent raise to the base, meaning that money will be collected on property taxes year after year.

For the last 20 minutes of the program, 3 of the more than a hundred Chinese students - Bryan, Andrew and Chris - spending the summer in Janesville, discussed being in Janesville and going to Craig High School.

DADIO'S LUNCH BUCKET RADIO CLINIC - Live this week yet again from Jeff's Coffee Bar

CIVIL DISCOURSE

Civil Discourse is a local podcast hosted by former State Senator Peter Bear and Eric Brant.

Peter and Eric connect the dots from historical events to current issues in an effort to correctly predict the outcomes. We lay out current events, expand on the issues, and blend facts with our own take on the subject matter.

This show aims to easily and accurately break down complex political situations for working America.

An awesome-jam-packed episode this week.  Amar Kaleka joins us in the first half of the show.  Amar is running in the Democratic Primary against Rob Zerban for Paul Ryan's congressional seat.  Amar last his father killed in the Sikh Temple shooting in 2012.  He is now running for congress.  Tune in to hear where he stands on key issues.

In the second half of the show, we are joined by the Executive Director of Wisconsin Democracy Campaign, Mike McCabe.  Mike joins us to discuss the video that was release this week exposing State Senator Mike Ellis (R) talking about illegal campaign activities.  What does this mean for Ellis? What does it mean for 2014?  What does it mean for Scott Walker when the 2nd ranking Senate Republican said that "Walker is working for Walker"?

Great episode of Discover Janesville this morning.  Since my first guest was not able to join me, I spent the first half hour doing piano improvisations (luckily I always bring my piano with me).  From there, the program took a decidedly community-minded tone as I was joined by Tony Farrell, Sr., volunteer extraordinaire who spoke about a program by Voigt music - run by Tony Farrell, Jr. - that gives away thousands of free music folders to kids in Rock county schools every year.  Next, Amanda Hauser Byrne of the Little Bean coffee shop called in to talk about the suspended coffee program, and finally Tom Brien, who spent 16 years on Janesville City Council, stopped in and we remembered  Ronnie Thomas who passed away a few days ago, following a lifetime of service.  Perhaps the best way to summarize the program is with the quote by President Kennedy: "Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country".  Be in the know.  Discover Janesville.
