Especially now, it’s easy to get caught in a negative cycle of how overwhelming life is. Our call is not to avoid difficulties, but rather to TRUST GOD & stop tripping. God always promised to keep us- it’s time to fully trust that!
We have all had a shared experience of a father-figure in our lives. We salute the role and the earthly fathers who’ve sacrificed to be the best they could. Even when some fell short, God has only EVER been the most-suffice t, ever-loving FATHER! A good, good Father at that!
Happy Fathers Day!

Renewed strength and joy is available to continue in what God has called you to! It’s no mistake that you are here at this time and in this state of mind. Whether burnt out or fully on pace, Genesis 15:6 reminds us of where our faith can bring us….to a place called “continue”!
Paul prayed for God to remove a thorn 3 times....and God didn’t. Instead He provided sufficient grace to still get the work done! We can be victorious even in affliction!
Happiness is elusive - she comes and goes. But Joy, real JOY, comes from the Lord
Jump into this weeks GOAW to find out how to begin finger to restore your joy too!
At a time when words like #antilove get used and overused, we combat negative talk and defend the Love that God gives through the Word. Use 1 Corinthians 13 as a launchpad for what love is and how it’s supposed to act
In a season where the conversation of love abounds, let’s consider and magnify the ultimate live: the agape love of God! Let’s talk about it and find examples in the Word of God, together!
Weariness and heavy loads seem to be the norm these days. When all the answers are being demanded all at once, we can rest in the truth that the power to keep going is not from our own strength!
Strength, majesty, splendor and POWER all belong to God🏆
Your skills are divine. Literally!!!
David started with a Lion and a Bear but it developed his skills to be a warrior and a King! Let’s fuel up on just how divine the skills we have are! They are powered by God!

The Word of God is a constant guide and encouragement to remind each of us that our prayers should be prayed with confidence and fervor, knowing they will be answered. Peter and John did it! Dr Martin Luther King Jr and so many defenders of the faith did it….and saw the ground shake🙌🏾
A new year = a new opportunity to establish a firm foundation! What better way than to start with prayer. Acts 4 teaches us how the authority to speak in Jesus’ name comes by way of a firm commitment to prayer!
This new year is about carrying on….but first, PRAY!
As we appreciate God being with us this season, we shift our focus to just how humbly God’s entry to the world was: MANGER BORN! This is a hefty reminder that God is with us- even in the unsavory stages of life…just like the manger!
In a world that is so fast-paced, what YOU get is what YOU get! The challenge for the believer is overriding the worlds vision of ME and open our hearts to giving! God is the best example of giving good gifts!
We’ve been giving too much not to be a giver!
Get this grace on the last installment of “Grown up Gratitude “ for 2022🤎
Fear is a resident emotion that tries to take us out! What we do with it and how we overwhelm it in return is what’s up for grabs! God gives us healthy examples and alternatives to fear—- will we accept them? Let’s find out together
Exodus 16 reminds us of how the children of Israel were provided for one day at a time. We too can experience the divine provision of God…but it will take trust!
Abraham chose to believe even before his name or his situation changed! Gif credited his faith as righteousness and made his name great and his descendants endless. We can glean lots of hope from the journey and faith-declaration of Abram (turned Abraham)!
The series “the boat chronicles” continues to remind us that even at our worst moments, God is still attached to us! Don’t be moved to defeat if God appears unbothered….it’s more like IN CONTROL!
Journey with Pastor Am as she unlocks Mark 4!
In this series, we learn from the events of Mark 4:35-41. In this session- we learn that we very well may be right where we should be even though it feels like chaos is looming or just up ahead. No worries, God is on the boat!
Just like we wait for hotel check in time to arrive, we often are waiting for a precise and clean time to get to work on the things Jesus said we had a “go” and authority over! Listen into a quick walk to John 14 on why we should “Check in” NOW
As we celebrate and walk in healing, it’s important to recognize the “crowds” we push through to obtain what our faith ascends to: healing that comes from God through the finished work of Christ!!!!!
It takes courage to be healed and the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5 teaches is just that! Beloved, you were made to keep going and healing is a part of the journey!
God is absolutely real and strong for each of us at every phase of our lives! Our experiences increase our faith and define Him as mighty for US every step of the way!
Trading our sorrows is a act of choosing joy! David’s undignified praise in 2 Samuel 6 reminds us that feeling the joy of the Lord is often in reflection of all that worked and all that didn’t! Rejoice anyway!!!!
In this final installment of a 3 part series, we learn lessons from Jesus after the resurrection! Jesus appeared in Galilee to His disciples by sending a message to them to keep going….and the same stands true today! KEEP GOING!
After Jesus’ resurrection, it seems like there may be more questions than answers. In part 2 of observing the 4 days after Jesus rose from the dead, we find that there is power in being a witness to what God has done. Whether earth-shattering or what may fee minor, God will use every witness (testimony) for His glory!
After Jesus raises from the dead, I’m sure there is excitement and wonder! But also a question: So What Now? These devotionals will help unpack the direction Jesus leaves for the believer in the 40 days following His resurrection from the dead!
The power of forgiveness lies in the truth that God did it beat and first through the life and sacrifice of His son Jesus! We get closer to extending and receiving true forgiveness when we embrace the love and FOREVER FORGIVENESS of Christ!
Often we get overwhelmed by who, what, when & where! But John 9 gives us context for WHY things occur that don’t feel good but they send glory directly back to God!
We all want love & lots of it. Let’s stop/pause to recognize Gods assignment for us all to SOW love…just like Jesus
History can make us frustrated and angry. But when grace is applied it reminds us to keep climbing and win anyway!
David started with a Lion and a Bear but it developed his skills to be a warrior and a King! Let’s fuel up on just how divine the skills we have are! They are powered by God!
And just like that it’s 2022! Turn your faith up and leap into this year deciding that YOU WILL HAVE JOY!!!!!
Just like the week between Christmas and New Years, you may feel caught in the “between space”! God intends to use what you’ve experienced this past year to fuel your faith and strengthen your courage! Leap into the new year in faith! God is truly WITH YOU!
We culminate this series of “God With Us” with a reminder that Jesus is not limited to a calendar but with us and present 365/24/7
As we appreciate God being with us this season, we shift our focus to just how humbly God’s entry to the world was: MANGER BORN! This is a hefty reminder that God is with us- even in the unsavory stages of life…just like the manger!
This Christmas, may we manage ourselves and allow God to come in and take up permanent residence. Anyway, it’s why He came. To be WITH us!
What a time to be alive and to be able to give God the glory! Let’s stop and pause to acknowledge our thankfulness which is actually on overflow!
The thing that you must do, is not hard but sometimes we just won’t do it!
This is hope for overcoming anklebitting little must do’s!
It’s time to testify! God did it- time to lift someone else with the story of how you made it over!
Phil 4:13 reminds us that no matter what we are presented with, we can chose courage because we recognize that greater than fear, the power of Christ abounds!
Even when you are feeling swept away by life’s storms— God sees because He’s ON the boat with you!
Our hope may be slipping and shifting a bit right now! But there is an everlasting God who can make our hope STRONGER!!!!
Celebration….joy…it’s a choice! Chose it often in spite of what you may feel or see!
Let celebration override every fear and all the grief!
Rain is a part of the cycle of life and our spiritual lives! The sun may not always be shining, but the rain will cause us to Grow! 🌱
Phil 4:6 reminds us to be anxious for nothing! But after we put down the anxiety, we’ve got to pick up our faith in God. Only believe and stop tripping🙏🏾
Often we think that because God has answered our current prayer or performed a TODAY miracles, that He’s removed from all of the other prayers to be answered! Two words: ONLY BELIEVE!
Men/women ought always pray! Not just when it feels comfortable but pray through the rough patch until the Father makes it smooth!
It’s promotion season....graduation is in the air! Along with promotion must come the prayer to maintain and flourish in the brand new space! Proverbs 5:21
When we pray, we have to open our hearts to a new level of hope FULLY expecting God to deliver on His promises!
Paul prayed for God to remove a thorn 3 times....and God didn’t. Instead He provided sufficient grace to still get the work done! We can be victorious even in affliction!
After experiencing the power of the resurrection and having a deeper connection to its power, especially this year....what comes next?
Trusting God like Jesus trusted Him during the week of His passion is a lesson and a model for how to trust God even in the toughest of “middle spaces”
The main ingredient for God to do a great work is YOU! Celebrating life (yes on your birthday) is fully appropriate every step of the way! God is perfecting the things that concern YOU!!!!!
God is not slack or slow or forgetful concerning all that He said was for YOU! Peace, wholeness, faith, grace, endurance.....all of it is still loading and in the pipeline toward you! Only believe 🌻
We are all sculpted with a purpose and a reason that goes far beyond our natural fathers and mothers! No matter what, God is a GOOD GOOD Father! Jeremiah 1:5
Like King David, we may suffer inconsolable defeat, but there is hope and ministry for you to you that comes hand-crafted from God!
It’s easy to fall asleep on your journey and want to stay there! Here’s a charge to us all to wake up and ARISE!!!!
We pray for more and expansion and growth! Here’s some hope to help you understand and celebrate your answered prayer
As America begins history again on Inauguration Day, be encouraged that the life of the believer begins anew each time the Lord grants us another day to live and try again! YOU are a history maker! Only believe Esther 4:14
It’s easy to care for everyone else, but the tables are turned and caregivers get a dose of hope before having to offer it to anyone else!
3 John 2-4
Happy New Year! So often, we hold onto things that we (at the same time) asking God to fix of fill! Could it be that “being still” is a call to surrender EVERTHING! Let “it” go and expect God to not just fill, but cause there to be overflow!
We all want a new year and a fresh start but nothing is stopping us from beginning again, right now! Happy New Year! 🎉
The Magi came to visit Jesus with gifts and honor and joy— but history reveals this took longer than the 12 days we commemorate after Christmas! But the miracle still came! Don’t lose hope...it’s still on the way!
God wrote the unlikely Shepards into the Jesus story but their presence and legacy has become priceless! The same with you! We ought to EXPECT God to perform a miracle! It’s His pattern!
The age of Innovation is upon and God is strengthening us to be a part of it by way of doing the next right thing!!!!
God gives us supernatural strength and power to be able to Run- sometimes we crawl, sometimes we SOAR, but because of God, it’s always forward! 🙌🏾
