False teachers openly oppose Christ’s divinity and flee the church. In contrast, true Christians resist these errors and cling to the truth of God’s Word. Therefore, true believers persevere in the faith by having doctrinal clarity, abiding in Him, and clinging to God’s promise of eternal life.
God’s initiating love through the gospel of Jesus Christ compels Christians to respond in love for one another, as they are being perfected in love until Jesus returns in glory! So, in light of the gospel, true believers must love sacrificially and intentionally toward all of God’s people.
Those who do not keep God’s commands are liars and do not know the truth that Christ died to deliver them not only from the presence of sin, but the power of sin. True believers, however, habitually and increasingly keep God’s commands and therefore have a growing assurance of salvation.
The Apostle John clearly states that those who walk in darkness and discredit the reality of sin are not Christians. But true believers confess their sins to God. So, let us walk in the light by seeing our sins, confessing them, and trusting that Jesus cleanses His people from all their sins.
Christianity stands or falls on the person and work of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the one true God-man, who lived a perfect life, died to save us from our sin, and promises eternal life. Therefore, let us believe in Him, be
The wisdom of God and power of God is experienced when we repent of our worldly wisdom and physical strength and trust in our crucified, buried, and risen Savior, who is our salvation, sanctification, and redemption. Therefore, let us preach Christ and Him crucified and boast only in the Lord!
When a person truly comes to faith in Christ, they know Him in a saving way and want nothing more than for others to know Him as well; to know the joy of having their sins forgiven and to know the hope of eternal
Christ calls us to proclaim the good news of the gospel and to teach all that Christ commanded. This happens in the context of a local church. But it also means we must be willing to serve, sacrifice, and send out our best so that other churches might be planted!
Whether it’s in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, Manchester or Windsor, it’s always the gospel that must be proclaimed. And the conversion of souls and the hope of eternal life provide all the motivation that we need to remain faithful to the gospel mission, even in the midst of persecution.
Through the faithful, Spirit-empowered preaching of the good news of Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection, God will build His church, adding to their number day by day those who are being saved, resulting in a community that demonstrates a radical, divinely-given, love for one another.
God empowers us through the gift of the Holy Spirit and the certainty of the resurrection to be witnesses of the Kingdom and proclaimers of the gospel. The book of Acts is a historical account of the initial restoration of that Kingdom, but we are called to be on-going witnesses until Christ returns.
God tells his redeemed people that he will never leave us nor forsake us. This great and very precious promise has the power to free us from the love of money and be content with what we have, as we run with endurance the race set before us all the way to glory!
Those who are humble are given the promise they will be exalted. To be lifted up is to be like our Savior, Jesus Christ, and to purse humility is to war against pride. Those who purse Christlikeness are those who pursue humility, both in salvation and sanctification.
When our futures seem unclear, and we are unaware of what lies ahead, we are prone to fear the future. However, in the face of fear, Christians must trust that the Lord will uphold His people. So, we must admit our need, consider the Lord Jesus, and cling to our all-wise God.
Jesus clearly demonstrates that we can live free from anxiety because we have a Heavenly Father who knows us intimately and has promised to provide our every need if we have a heart that prioritizes doing God's will and obeying His commands.
Our hearts are tempted to believe that God is stingy and withholds good from us, which leads us to doubt His plans and purposes. Therefore, Christians must fight against doubt by trusting God’s unwavering promises as we cling to our greatest good, the Lord Jesus Christ.
God’s people are his treasured possession. By his power, He is fulfilling his promise to make them into a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. Obedience is the path to realizing God’s purpose for our lives.
As a result of the devil’s lies and Adam’s sin, we are sinners enslaved to disobedience. So Adam’s sin ignited a life and death struggle between good and evil. But God promised salvation in a second Adam, the Lord Jesus, whose death on the cross brings eternal life and the power to live for God’s glory!
King David’s heart responds to God’s mercy and grace with exuberant praise and humble sacrifice. To a greater degree, Jesus’ heart is bent towards sinners as He died a sacrificial death in their place. So, in response to King Jesus, Christians are compelled to live a life of humility and praise to God.

Despite being a conquering king, David’s sin reveals that we need a greater king, King Jesus, who perfectly obeys God even to the point of death. In Him, God is well pleased. Therefore, we must bind our wandering hearts to Him so we too might be pleasing to God!
Belonging to an unshakable kingdom means we can be incredibly kind. As God establishes His kingdom in the world, He is showing incredible kindnes to humanity and calling His people to do the same. So, let's seek the King's kindness and show His kindness to one another and the world!
The only hope that we have as the people of God is the coming of the promised King who will conquer sin, death, and the devil and reign for all eternity over His eternal kingdom. Jesus is that king! May we rejoice in Him as Savior and rest in His eternal promises!
God's shepherd king rises to power through God's provision, establishing a place for God's presence, so the Lord might be worshipped rightly by His people. We too must worship God rightly by responding to His ultimate King with great reverence and abundant joy!
People naturally reject rather than accept realities they don't desire, often to their own detriment. God has establisted the one true king and kingdom, yet people reject this reality for the failing kingdom of the world. So, let's be those who accept King Jesus and seek the increase of His Kingdom!
If we do not seek Jesus truly, we will not experience Him fully. Unfortunately, many people’s understanding of Jesus is contrary to the Scriptures and His identity as the Bread of Life. So, let’s seek Jesus truly so that we experience the eternal life He offers through His death and resurrection for sinners!
The King destined to give rest and abundant blessing rises to power at God's hand, not his own, choosing obedience to God and love for His people over personal exaltation. We, in response, must anoint Him King of our lives, obey His commands, and love His people!
The only hope that we have as the peopleof God is the coming of the promised King who will conquer sin, death, and fthe devil and reign for all eternity over His eternal kingdom. Jesus is that king! Therefore, may we rejoice in Him as Savior and worship Him as King!
In Christ, we are now free to worship God by offering a priestly sacrifice of prayer and praise, a fragrant aroma to our heavenly King.
Jesus did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. Therefore, He calls all those who believe in Him to be humble and servant-hearted in their love and service to one another. By this all people will know that we are His!
In view of the majesty of God and the hope of future glory, Christians must fight the goof fight of faith by fleeing the temptations to store up weath for earthly gain and be radically generous with all that they have for the good of the church and for the fame of Christ's Name among the nations!
Because God has saved us by His glorious grace and mercy,freeing us from bondage to sin and empowering us, by His Spirit, to live for His glory, honor, and praise, our lives must demonstrate the transforming power of the gospel in actions, speech, attitudes, and good works toward all mankind.
Who we are shapes how we live. By the gospel we have become God's people to be those who proclaim His excellencies to the lost world around us. So, let us show who we are by proclaiming the excellencies of God with our love, lips and lives!
The gospel not only brings salvation to everyone who believes, whether young or old, male or female; but it empowers them embrace who God made them to be, rejoicing in the roles and responsibilities consistent with their gender and identity. In short, they are people zealous for good works!
The gospel of God’s grace must be protected by qualified men who are willing and able to confront those who profess to know God, but deny Him by their works. They must also exhort in sound doctrine, instructing the people of God in the knowledge of God, which always leads to godly living.
Because God has saved us by His grace and mercy, freeing us from bondage to sin and enabling obedience from the heart, our lives must demonstrate the transforming power of the gospel in our godly actions, our godly speech, our godly attitudes, and our good works toward all mankind.
If we’re going to hear Jesus say, “Well done, My good and faithful servant,” then we must be resolved to live on mission by becoming all things to all people so that some might repent and believe the good news of the gospel, and we not be disqualified from salvation!
Simple faith is faith in action. It is motivated by love for God and expresses itself in love of neighbor. Jesus challenges his followers to freely and faithfully demonstrate God-like love that goes beyond requirements by relying on the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Prince of Peace is born! Jesus the Savior is born in Bethlehem, attested by angels, and through Him alone will peace fill the earth. So, let's ponder, praise, and proclaim our great God of peace!
The Old Testament is filled with signs that a Messiah is coing who is the King of Kings. These signs identify Jesus Christ as that King, who came on a mission to save His people from their sins. That is the ultimate hope that we have this Christmas season.
David is the anointed king who is blameless before his enemies, rescues the captives, and rewards his people. David's conquest points forward to the true and better rescuer, the Lord Jesus. Therefore, we are called to have hope in trials because we are more than conquerors through Christ!
As believers in Jesus Christ, who obeyed God's Word perfectly, even during His earthly exile; we are called to seek the Lord in His Word, and to do according to all that is written in it, for then He will make our way prosperous, and then we will have eternal success!
As believers in Jesus Christ, we are called to entrust oursleves to God, buy submitting to His good and perfect plan, even in the midst of suffering and injustice, by walking in humble obedience to His commands, looking foward to when all things will be made right.
Sin ignited a life and death struggle between the seed of the woman and seed of the serpent, but God promises salvation in King Jesus, whose death defeats sin, death, and the devil so that we might be children of God who walk in righteousness, which is evident and obvious to everyone!
God's King and people face persecution and excile from those who hate God and revile His people. But God loves and sustains His King and His people until the end. So let us entrust ourselves to God as we await the final redemption and restoration of all things!
The anoited king is a polarizing figure, which results in either a love for him that lives for the praise of his name; or a hatred that wants him killed. Those who believe in King Jesus love Him, serve Him, and are willing to be persecuted for Him, knowing that He will one day be glorified by all!
Our confidence and courage to fight against sin, death, and the devil is only possible when we put our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and share in the victory He won for us at the cross of Calvary as our one true King, who stands for His people, fights their battle, and secures their eternal reward.
God desires a king and a people who listen to His voice and obey His commands. Jesus Christ, the one true King, lived to do His Father's will and was obedient unto death. Therefore, true faith in Christ must result in a people who love Jesus, believe in Jesus, and obey Jesus' commands!
Our desires give us a window into our hearts, which is exemplified by the Israelite's desire for a king. In God's mercy, He provides an unworthy king. The annointing of King Saul points us forward to the righteous obedient, and faithful king - the Lord Jesus. Therefore, we must be a people who know the King, cling to the King, and live for His glory!
God rules and reigns over His people as their ultimate divine King, but He mediates that authority through a promised Son, an appointed priest, a confirmed prophet, and an anointed Judge, who intercedes for the people, delievers them from their enemies, and provides everlasting peace!
Embodiment is the proper state of human exsistence In Genesis 1, we are shown that God's design for His image bearers is that we are particular gendered embodied people. Therefore, we should be a people who embrace God's divine design and live for His glory!
Our sin goes deeper than we can see making us unreconciled with God and needing a mediator. That mediator must be a priest who can represent us to God and a prophet who can reveal God's work to us. God has provided that Priest and Prophet, so let's look to Him to reconcile us to God!
The birth of Samuel demands a response of praise, for God remembered Hannah and gave her a son. But that miraculous birth points to a far greater Son, and a far greater salvation. Therefore, our hears should be filled with a joy and our mouths with praise for God's provision of a Savior.
We are naturally a people who cannot and will not keep God's Law and desperately want to be like everyone else. Therefore, we need a King after God's own heart, who can deliver and rule us, heal and help us, care for us, conquer our greatest enemies, and bring us into God's eternal favor!
God loves us so much that he sent the Lord Jesus Christ to die in our place so that our sins could be forgiven, and we could be reconciled to God. In the same way, we must extend forgiveness to others so that we might live in unity and harmony with one another.
Many people reject our Creator and King's calling to know Him and to enjoy His kingdom by responding with apathy, opposition, or insolence. Yet, this rejetion comes at an eternal, heartbreaking cost. So, let's not follow the majority but answer the call to come and enjoy Him forever!
The foolishness of those who reject the Lord Jesus Christ and the salvation that is only available in Him will be seen when God's forbearance gives way ti God fury. Therefore, seek God's forgiveness while there is still time to repear and believe in God's gift of His only beloved Son, our Savior.
Jesus is the one true King, and the coming of His Kingdom, brings salvation and judgment. Since we know that the Lord will cause the seed of His Word to grow and the kingdom of God to triumph, believers in Christ should sow the gospel with courage and confidence and conviction.
The Lord Jesus Himself to a bridegroom who will return in glory. We don't know the time or the hour, but are we ready? True believers must be prepared for His return with great watchfulness and devotion in every season and circumstance.

Therefore, believers are called to hold fast to their confession and persevere amidst persecution, knowing that they will receive the reward if entrance into God's heavenlu eternal city!
As Christians, we live in difficult times awaiting a glorious future. Yet, because of Jesus' Great High Priesthood, we have an intercessor who saves us from sin and death. Therefore, we live confidently under the leadership of Jesus who faithfully shepherds His New Covenant community.

Those who persevere in faith, even through persecution, come to a Kingdom that connot be shaken, because Jesus' blood satisfies God's judgment and purchases our eternal salvation. Therefore, we must be grateful, obey God's Word, and live for God's glory, now and forevermore!
God disciples His children because He loves them, which will yield the fruit of righteousness through their faithful endurance. Therefore, the Christian must endure by striving for holiness, watchfulness and a greater desire for Christ rather than the things of earth!
Believers in Christ are empowered to run the race of faith with endurance, which may include persecution, by laying aside everything that hinders them, by following Jesus' example, and by looking forward to the joy of being in His presence, where there will be pleasures forevermore!
True faith in Christ trust God in triumphs and trageies. If He ordains victory, faith rejoices in God's goddness. If He brings torture and dead, faith clings to God's promises, knowing that there's a better resurrection coming and the promise of an eternal, heavenlt home!
True faith in Christ not only lives a life of obedience to God's will, but also perseveres even in the midst of trials. When we look back at God's faithfulness to His promises; namely, Christ' once for all sacrifice for our salvation, we can look forward with great confidence!
Our present fear is based on truths we can't fully see. Yet, creation and Old Testament believers all witness God's faithfulness to His redemptive plan. Therefore, we can trust Jesus Christ as our Savior and have assurance in life, death and God's judgment.

As Christians, we live together as a community, enjoying the privileges of new covenant life because of what the Lord Jesus has accomplished. Therefore, as we anticipate His return, we must encourage each other to do God's will in the present with full assurance of the future.

The resurrection of Jesus from the dead is absolutely essential to the Christian faith. It guarantees the power to change, the ability to endure life's difficulties, and the hope that one day, we too will enjoy resurrected bodies in the new heavens and the new earth!
Hours before Jesus' crucifixion, many voices reflected on what they were feelong. Some hated and sought vengeance , some feared and wanted the situation to be over, but one voice stood out, the voice of Jesus. We hear His voice of truth, compassion, humanity, and victory. Therefore, let us listen to the voice of Jesus and believe that we may live in the victory He provides.

Through many will reject the gospel, repudiate Christ, and turn back to wordly ways, those who persevere in the faith will inherit the promises that God has made to them in Jesus. Therefore, believers have an unshakable hope in God's Word which we must cling to at all times and in every situation!
Isaiah declares that a child will be born who will bring light and joy to the people of God. That child will be our Everlasting Father. The glory of the gospel is that in Jesus, we become the beloved children of God. Therefore, we must delight in our adoption and live for His glory!
Christians are implored to hold fast to their confession and draw near to His throne amid difficulty because they have a greater and eternal High Priest in Jesus. Therefore, our confidence is to be bolstered by the reality of Christ's priestly work, leading to greater and greater obedience to Him.
Believers have a great high priest, who is transcendent, tender, and identifies with God's people; and yet without sin. So He can stand in God's presence and intercede on their behalf. Therefore, we are welcomed before the throne of God, this day, and every day, with total confidence that God is for us!
Fear is appropriate if you are not following Jesus with a sense of urgency. But believers can enter God's rest now and will enter it fully and completely in the future. And God's effective word motivates them to diligence as they actively pursue the glorious salvation God has promised for His people.
People who come to saving faith in the Lord Jesus will always persevere in hat faith, never fall away, and will ultimately enter God's eternal rest. Therefore, true Christians exhort one another on a daily basis to not be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin, but to continue to believe in Jesus!
Consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our salvation. Jesus is worthy of more glory, honor, and praise than Moses because Jesus is God, the one who made us; and Jesus is the Son who owns, rules, and provides for us. Therefore, we must hold fast to Jesus, our only hope of salvation!

The Gospel is a message from God; it is God's Gospel. God is the one who calls people into his kingdom, and now God has entrusted the Church with the task of proclaiming the message and sharing their lives so that more people will believe. Let's body more forward by proclaiming the Gospel and sharing our lives amid persecution, suffering, and conflict.
Praise God that He offers the perfect righteousness of Christ to sinners who diligently seek Him by faith. However, that means there are only two options. Either you believe in Jesus, bear fruit, walk a path that leads to eternal life and the Kingdom of God; or you follow the way of the many, bear worldly fruit, and walk a path that leads to death!
Jesus declares that entrance into the kingdom requires a righteousness that exceeds that of the Pharisees. Praise God that He gives the perfect righteousness of Christ to sinners who diligently seek it by faith and transforms them into people who live lives according to the golden rule!
Perhaps no church was more impressive in the New Testament than the church at Antioch (Syria) from which we can derive at least five marks by which to measure the health of any local church.
Through prayer, we have the privilege of communicating with God. Therefore, we should delight in this privilege and intentionally work to cultivate a heart yearning to know and respond to Him.
Jesus declares that entrance into the kingdom of heaven requires us to live for the glory of God. By faith in Christ, that includes trusting God's privision and prioritizing God's kingdom. By God's grace, those are the remedies that enable us to put the sin of anxiety to death in our lives and empower us to live gloriously different than the world around us!
"When you can’t trace his hand, trust his heart." We must know God in the good days, so we have the strength of soul and conviction to withstand the difficult days. So, we must grow in knowing the greatness of God’s nature and put our hope and trust in his wise and sovereign ways.
The human heart seeks to be rewarded through being seen and praised by people. Our Father in Heaven desires to reward us, and Jesus teaches us to seek the greater reward—God himself. In Matthew 6, Jesus teaches us to beware of the desire to be seen by people, to know how to practice our righteousness, and to hope in the reward from God.
Christ declares that entrance into the kingdom requires perfect obedience to the Law. This not only highlights continuity between Moses and Christ, but it demonstrates that the Law is a tutor that leads us to faith in Christ, who fulfills the Law’s demand of perfect righteousness!
God blesses His faithful people by keeping them in grace and peace through Jesus Christ, His Great High Priest.
The truth of God’s kingdom was proclaimed by the coming of Jesus and the testimony of his followers. That testimony continues today and means that believers are salt and light to a fallen world. They are both useful and visible in doing good works to the praise of God’s glory!
Jesus invites all His disciples to pursue kingdom living in a fallen world through Godward hearts and others-oriented living with unrivaled hope amid persecution so that we might enjoy true happiness here and now, but also in the kingdom of heaven forever!
Moses called the Israelites to follow the Lord’s commands by constructing the tabernacle so that God would dwell among His people. To a greater degree, through the New Covenant, God commands Christians to walk in obedience as they await the Lord to dwell among His people!
Sin has separated us from God's presence. On the basis of our ultimate Mediator, the Lord Jesus Christ, we are able to dwell in God's presence, see God's glory, and experience God's forgiveness, which transforms us into people who shine like lights in the midst of a dark world!
The golden calf demonstrates how quickly hearts can turn from a covenant commitment to horrific idolatry. Therefore, we must flee temptation. But to do so, we must cling to Christ, our glorious Mediator, whose substitutionary atonement satisfies God’s wrath against sin!
The priestly ministry ordained by God in the tabernacle beautifully foreshadows how God and man can dwell together in eternal fellowship through our Great High Priest, the Lord Jesus Christ, who offered Himself as a once for all sacrifice for sin!
God gave Moses specific instructinos on how to build the tabernacle so God might dwell among His people. All the details of the tabernacle point forward to the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the only means by which a sinful people might dwell in the presence of a holy God!
God's covenant is confirmed among His people and sets them apart by the sprinkling of blood. To a greater degree, the Lord Jesus is the sacrificial lamb who sprinkles His people with His precious blood which provides eternal consecration and eternal enjoyment of God forevermore!
God’s covenant with Israel reveals His righteousness, explains His expectation of justice, and regulates how His people ought to live. These commandments are ultimately fulfilled in the church as we live out our Christ-like love for one another in the New Covenant community!
