We appreciate all your feedback from the last episode 101 about the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the lives of followers of Christ. We are grateful to God and count it an honor to serve you, your families and communities. In this episode 102, we examine some life analogy of how the human heart must be good ground for the Word of God to flourish in our lives as Christ’s ambassadors. The word “heart” appears over 1000 times in the Bible. This tells us how important God places a high priority on the human heart. Keeping our hearts pure is a calling for all followers of Christ, because the human heart is prone to distraction, deception and destruction. The condition of our hearts as Christ’s followers determine how deep the Word of God can take root and bear godly fruits in our lives.
You can now join many across the nation to pray continuously for our nation, leaders, systems and for others. Through the platform- America Prays, join hearts in prayer for God’s continued blessings upon America and its precious people.
Our Savior Jesus Christ showed us the Father’s heart through the model Lord’s prayer in Matthew 6: 9-13. This is a reminder of God’s perfect love for His people. As we celebrate fathers this month, we pray God’s blessings on all fathers far and near. Happy Father’s Day. With summer time upon us, we hope you and your families have a fun and restful time.
In Christ's Love,

A nation that sets its gaze towards God is a nation that God will bless! (Psalm 33:12- “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance”). As a nation we get to rededicate USA to the LORD as part of the 250th celebration of the independence of our nation on May 17, 2026. We encourage Christians no matter where you are to participate in prayer, worship and thanksgiving. Let us usher in the healing balm of the LORD as we follow through the scripture truth from 2 Chronicles 7:14- “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Followers of Christ all around the world are also setting their gaze towards Pentecost. This year Pentecost falls on Sunday, May 24, 2026. Pentecost is a celebration of the blessing of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples of Christ as explained in the Book of Acts 2: 1-31. The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity that abides with believers (Romans 8:11). The Holy Spirit helps us to live in accordance to God’s ways. Our lives are under God’s eternal governance and require His truth to ensure Christ’s body of believers are exactly who He created us to in our world. In a time that there are myriads of deceptions, masquerading as truth, it is important for followers of Christ to stake their lives on the unshakable truth of God's Word. The Word of God has the power to do the following in our daily lives:
We need the help of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives to sustain us, feed us, quench thirst, fill us and wash us daily in God’s holy Word. Without His guidance, assistance and friendship followers of Christ tend to lose their way in a chaotic world. As we look towards Pentecost this year, we encourage you to cultivate a deep friendship with the Holy Spirit. The impact and fruit from a Holy Spirit governed life brings honor and glory to God! (John 15:5).

Scripture References:
“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12)
The need is great, and the call is critical for the Body of Christ to be who God has called us to be in this hour. We have been called to be holy, set apart for God’s use in a world that needs Him without recognizing they need the Almighty God.
One of the dangers of these times is not only inaccurate information parading as truth, but deception, and misinformation. This means for believers in Christ, empowering and equipping ourselves with the truth of God’s Word is not an option or a suggestion. It is a call to come up to God’s standards of being as Christ’s ambassadors. God is not lowering His standards because we are in 2025 or any other year.
In this insightful episode of Oasis of Hope podcast, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti discuss the transforming power of God’s Word. They discuss how living out the kingdom life requires daily bread in God’s Word. This practice combined with daily prayer transforms lives for eternity. They invite believers in Christ to join in the 30 days Bible Reading challenge to observe the Global Bible Month.Believers in Christ can store up the treasures of God’s Word in their hearts and see a God kingdom change for eternal impact. Join them to hide God’s Word in our hearts.
Lastly, they discuss the new book The Fear of God: Growing the Inner Life and invite friends and listeners to get a copy whether you are a believer in Christ or not. Readers will find that God’s Word transforms from the inside out. To live in the reverence or fear of God, means there are characteristics that flows out of such a life anchored in God’s truth of reverence.
This type of life points to an understanding of who God is and of a life that has been changed by the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. The same is true for a life void of the reverence or fear of God. That life also points to a lack of understanding of who God is and His loving embrace to a relationship that transforms for eternity. Time for God’s people to rise up and be the Body of Christ.
Take a listen to episode 96 and share with your family and friends. These times call for believers to be Bereans who study the Word of God for themselves, be in community with fellow believers who are pursuing the heart of God and be in daily prayer asking the Holy Spirit to illuminate every area of our lives for the indwelling Presence of God. Stay Alert!
Scripture Reference: "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9) .
We are living in unprecedented times globally, since the pandemic of 2020. For the church aka body of Christ, we are seeing a sharp rise in Bible sales and hunger among young people. In an October 2025 article by Pew Research, there has been a sharp rise in the things of God from February 2024 to February 2025. The data is showing a positive influence of faith on the American life.
With this spiritual awakening and growth comes great responsibility for the body of Christ, especially spiritual leaders. One aspect of responsibility that all believers in Christ are called to is being an ambassador for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20). Added responsibility and higher standards is mandated for spiritual leaders as the scripture states in 1 Timothy 3:1-10.
One of such added responsibilities for Christ leaders is staying up to date on the most pressing cultural issues are and how to shepherd God’s people well. On this latest episode 95 of Oasis of Hope Podcast, we are blessed by the legal expertise of one of the nation’s leading voices- Ms. Regan Van Steenis, as she dives into how churches, the body of Christ and its leaders can be better prepared to meet the challenge of our culture in the area of child safety.
Van Steenis brings a powerful blend of conviction and compassion as chief legal counsel at Lakewood Church and Joel Osteen Ministries for over twenty years. She has personally overseen more than $1 billion in transactions and helped hundreds of new churches get started. God is currently using her expertise to equip ministries to flourish without distraction, offering everything from compliance support to strategies for safeguarding leadership and foster spiritual health.
It is also great to note that Van Steenis brings a unique perspective as both a pastor’s daughter and a legal expert because she understands the pressures facing ministry leaders and how to help them build strong foundations, so spiritual leaders can focus on growing deeper in Christ, free from fear or compromise that can mar the name of Christ.
This is one episode you want to share with friends, colleagues, neighbors, and especially your spiritual leaders. God’s ways and standards for His kingdom has never changed, even though the culture around us changes. It is time for the church to rise up and be Christ’s empowered and equipped ambassadors.

“So, Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for Him” (Hebrews 9:28).
Imagine getting an email that Jesus Christ is coming back on September 23 or 24, 2025. This happened and it is not something to be imagined. One of our ministry friends received an email with this information and shared it that the rapture was trending on social media. A pastor from South Africa shared on TikTok that God gave him a vision that the rapture (the second coming of Jesus Christ) was going to happen on September 23-24 which falls on Rosh Hashanah- the Jewish New Year. This misinformation was carried by many news outlets.
This is the danger of the times we live in is that Inaccurate information, deception, and misinformation is rampant everywhere we turn. On the other hand, this is a time for believers to get into the Word of God- read it, study it, and meditate on it. This is the time for followers of Christ to have extra oil in their lamps and know the Word of God. The scriptures explains in multiple places about the coming of Jesus Christ- no one knows that day or time, except the Almighty God.
Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti discuss the fallacy of these kinds of misinformation. God has not left believers in Christ in limbo or to guess about important things like the coming of Christ. The Bible tells us; we will have these kinds of false visions and teachings in these last days. As ambassadors of Christ, speak up against these false teachings. When the next rounds of rapture forecast comes around, let’s shut it off with the truth of God’s infallible Word.
Take a listen to episode 94 and share with your family and friends. Scripture Reference: “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ” (Romans 10:17, NIV).
Believers in Jesus Christ have the unique access to hear from God. Whether that is through the written Word of God, through the ministry of the Holy Spirit or through His vessels. To have a relationship with God requires faith. It is impossible to walk with God without faith, just like Hebrews 11:6, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who approaches Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.”
Faith is the fuel of a believer’s relationship with God. The faith of a believer is a prized diamond. Faith is the currency of God’s supernatural kingdom. This is one major reason, everything that can come against that precious faith, tries to snuff out the life and fire of God in a believer’s life. In this episode of Oasis of Hope podcast, the focus of discussion is on faith looking at the lives of flawed men and women from the hall of faith in Hebrews 11.
Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti discuss the impact of a counterculture on the faith of believers. The Bible warns believers about “doctrine of devils” (1 Timothy 4:1-5) that can shipwreck people’s faith. Doctrine of devils are deceptive teachings that lead people away from God’s absolute truth and into error. The aim of these devilish doctrines is to undermine the truth of scriptures, exalt worldly things above the authenticity of the scripture and lure people into spiritual harm. It is subtle, so it is very important that believers pay attention to ensure their faith stands tall, strong and unshakable in these perilous times.
Take a listen to episode 93 and share with your family and friends. These times call for believers to be Bereans who study the Word of God for themselves, be in community with fellow believers who are pursuing the heart of God and be in daily prayer asking the Holy Spirit to illuminate every area of our lives for the indwelling Presence of God.
Scripture Reference: “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen” (2 Peter 3:18).
The scriptures provide the blueprint for believers in Christ on all aspects of life. Digging into the truth of God’s Word yields wisdom and guidance for our daily lives. In this episode of Oasis of Hope podcast, the question is asked by one of our Oasis of Hope community: What is progressive Christianity? Is it Biblical? Looking at scriptures, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti discuss what seems to be the understanding behind the question- which is a question on spiritual growth. Take a listen to episode 92 as they walk through the scriptures and unpack the truth of spiritual growth.
From theological studies, the idea behind progressive Christianity has been misleading, deceptive and misunderstanding for many new believers in Christ and some of our next generation. The hallmark of maturity for all believers in Christ is living out and walking in love. Any believer in Christ that is living out the God kind of love as 1 Corinthians 13 explains is growing spiritually in the abundant life Jesus came to give anyone that believes in Him for salvation and an eternity with God Almighty. Also, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ already set the bar for how believers will be known to the world based on our love for one another: “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another” (John 13:35).
This is the time for believers to be student of the Bible, asking the help of the Holy Spirit to know, learn and understand the ways of God, which are supernatural and counterculture. Each believer must choose God’s way of truth above the trends of the world, culture of the world, and ideas of the world that are contrary to the truth of scriptures. When believers in Christ are growing daily in their walk with God, there will be “fruits” that point and align to this spiritual growth. This is an encouragement for believers in Christ to deliberately choose the way of truth. The ways of the world will ultimately lead to confusion, just as the scriptures tell us. Let’s be people of the Way (John 14:6). "I am the way, the truth, and the life” – Jesus Christ.
Commemorating the Last Supper Jesus Christ had with His twelve disciples is a holy observation by millions of Christians around the world. As scriptures instruct, commemorating this special time is done with carefulness and intentionality. In 2 Corinthians 13:5 (Examine your selves to see whether you are in the faith; test your selves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?), there are elements of self-reflection, self-awareness and self- regulation to ensure the Lord’s Supper is taken with deep reverence by followers of Christ.
Some Christians, also know this special time as the Eucharist, the Lord’s Table, Table of Communion or Holy Communion. The Table of Communion symbolizes Jesus ultimate sacrifice on the cross to redeem humanity from eternal separation from God. Communion is a two-way street-our communion with God and communion with each other. Before taking a listen to this podcast, we encourage you to gather your communion elements (crackers and juice) and join into take communion at the end of the podcast.
As followers of Christ, everything we do is through the lenses of eternity, and elections are not different. In this episode, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti encourage Christians to approach these upcoming elections with carefulness and do their homework. Some things for Christians to think about as they prepare themselves are:
(1) Pray for everyone (2 Chronicles 7:14, Proverb 14:34, 1 Timothy 2:1-2).
(2) Respect for each other – no matter if a person is red, blue, in-between or none.
(3) Refuse to hop on the hatred wagon no matter who the instigating leader is.
(4) Study the candidates and determine your values, belief, conscience etc.
(5) Above all else, remember we are Christ’s ambassadors foremost (salt and light).
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land” – 2 Chronicle 7:14
The 2024 Summer Olympics was highly watched around the world. With one sport or the other as a favorite, the Olympics is a source of inspiration for young and old alike. Congratulations to all teams from around the world, representing their countries. The USA team came back with a total of 126 medals- 40 Gold, 44 Silver and 42 Bronze!
For followers of Christ, there are some lessons to glean from the Olympics. In fact, the Bible uses sports as an analogy of how Christians are to live their lives. 1 Corinthians 9:24-25, states, "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receives the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that strive for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible."
In this episode, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti encourage followers of Christ with three key lessons from the Olympics. Walking with God requires discipline to stay deeply committed to Christ, so we can represent Christ well. It's time for followers of Christ to stand up and be counted for the Kingdom of God!
"Now then we are ambassadors for Christ" - 2 Corinthians 5:20
The last few weeks have had many heads turning about the state of the church - aka the Body of Christ. The secular world took a dive into the credibility of the church as a whole. In this episode 77 of Oasis of Hope focused on the state of the church, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti, answer some of the key questions asked in the wake of the recent unravelings in the church. The credibility of the gospel stands and is unshaken because of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.
From a Biblical perspective, they discuss and answer the questions on abuse, culture and NDAs in the Body of Christ. Their hope and prayer is that this episode will spur more followers of Christ to stand in the gap of prayer for our communities, churches and families.
"Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil" (Matthew 6:9-13).
In a 2022 article by MIT Sloan Management Review, Cipolli, Sull, Brighenti and Sull highlight some toxic cultural attributes of our time. These attributes permeate many areas of our culture - industries, communities, churches, schools and the list goes on. However, followers of Christ need not worry, because the Bible provides some arsenal to navigate these cultural toxicities. These toxic cultural attributes referred to as the spirit of Saul are nothing new.
In this cultural leadership episode, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti discuss and answer the question of how to navigate these cultural toxicities. They explain with examples this spirit of Saul. And they offer ways for Christians to be empowered and equipped against these toxic tides with the help of the Holy Spirit. This is one episode you want to share with everyone in your network. Together the life of God in each Christian dispels these toxic tides. The kingdom of God is at hand; time for Christians to arise!
"And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity" ( 2 Peter 1: 5-7).
To date there are over 200 United States appointed ambassadors serving the interest of the United States around the world. Followers of Christ have been called by God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to represent Christ in every sphere, place, industries, communities, school, the list goes on. Christ's ambassadors represent the interest of Jesus Christ and God's unshakeable kingdom.
In this celebratory episode, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti discuss birthdays, Mother's Day, feedback on Holocaust survivor and the Communicator Awards by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) for the 2024 Excellence and Distinction Communicator Awards for Oasis of Hope Podcast and Points of Leadership Podcast! A big thank you to all our partners, friends and audiences around the world for making the podcasts what they are today! We love serving you and these awards are because of your support, care and engagement!
"We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God." - 2 Corinthians 5:20
In the past ten years we have seen the rise of antisemitism across the world. Historians have credited antisemitism as the root cause of the atrocious Holocaust against Jews. This hatred was the belief system of the Nazi ideology. The Holocaust was the systematic, government launched target, persecution, brutal mistreatment, gassing, deadly living conditions and killings of six million European Jews between 1933 and 1945 (Holocaust Encyclopedia). For many survivors of the Holocaust living through such dehumanization came at a high price for them and their families.
In this special episode, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti host Holocaust survivor Mrs. Rosian Zerner- who was born in Lithuania. In 1941, when Germany invaded their town, she and her family were confined to the Kovno concentration camp. Through the help of her parents, she was able to escape through a hole they dug under the fence of the confinement quarters. She was met by her father's secretary and hidden by several rescuers before being liberated by Soviet troops in 1944.
Surviving such atrocities to live a successful life takes the power of forgiveness, grit and love, both for self and others. The Bible provides the guide on the freedom that comes through forgiveness. The medical field attests to the power of forgiveness. In a series written by John Hopkins Medicine, it states that one's health depends on forgiveness. In an article in the Harvard Medical School published in 2021, some methods of forgiveness were explored to help people overcome unforgiveness. However the Bible already provided why unforgiveness can be a self-imposed prison for anyone. Matthew 6:14 states, "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." Take a listen as Mrs. Zerner shares why she forgave her persecutors, how she was able to do that and how she has blazed a trail for peace and love around the world, speaking out about her lived experience as a Holocaust survivor. This is one episode you do not want to miss. Tell a friend, pull up a chair with your favorite tea or coffee and take a listen.
"Above all, have fervent and unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins" 1 Peter 4:3
This year Easter is in the month of March. Easter is that special time that Christians around the world celebrate the reality of the cross in their lives. If we sat down with believers from around the world and ask each one, who Jesus Christ is to him or her, we will find a common thread- Jesus saved them by His amazing grace. Jesus redeemed them by His precious blood shed on the cross. Jesus has given them the assurance of eternal life.
The list will be an extremely long one about who Jesus is to Christians. In this episode, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti share from the wells of their relationship with Christ about who He is to them. As we prepare to celebrate Easter, we offer Jesus Christ to you. He is the gift that never stops giving. He is the fountain that never runs dry. He is the light that never goes out. And when Jesus Christ lights the lives of His people, no human can ever put that light out. This is our Living Hope and we offer Him to you this Easter.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." - 1 Peter 1:3
The month of February kicks off Black History month- which is America's history. Many feel we don't need a Black History. But we do. Black History is our history as a human race. Same thing for Latino history. African history. Native American history.
In this episode, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti discuss the power of love and its many benefits as an antidote to hatred. Not just this month, but all months, let us give love a chance to transform our world. The God kind of love has the power to heal, deliver and make whole.
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." - 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
Your questions on talking board or ouija board, palm reading and more are answered in this episode. Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti discuss the new age influences targeting the next generation. Seen as harmless, these new age influences carry strong demonic influences that lead to oppression and spiritual generational bondage. This is one episode you do not want to miss. Share and pass this episode on. Turn on the light and dismantle all darkness. John 10:10, "The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" - Jesus Christ.
Wellness or well-being is critical for humans to flourish. Post-pandemic, people are searching for answers to many of their wellness questions. Data from Mental Health America indicates that over 50 million Americans are experiencing a mental illness. That's an estimated 19.9 percent of American adults experiencing one form of mental illness. God created humans as a three-dimensional beings. This means each dimension requires specialized care. In this episode, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti discuss the needed care for humans in all three areas of our being for wellness or wholeness. To focus on just one area of our being without caring for the other areas has its repercussions. Take a listen and find out how to maximize your three-dimensional wellness.
Prayer is a power in itself. And when rendered from believers in Christ, prayer carries an unparalleled supernatural power. There is an irresistible power when followers of Christ fall on their knees to talk to their Creator and King. God moves on their behalf. Statistics from secular such as the National Institutes of Health, states that healing is attributed to religious practices (2009), to CNN covering the benefits of prayer that it can reduce feelings of anxiety (2020), are proof of what the Bible already states in James 5:16b, "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” Prayer is powerful! In this episode, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti discuss their stance on standing strong in prayer for all people everywhere just as the Bible commands Christians. There has never been a better time for believers everywhere to stand, unmovable in prayer for others than now!
Developing healthy eating habits takes discipline and commitment. We are what we eat. In this episode, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti continue the discussion on developing healthy eating habits with grains and fat. The quality of food we feed our bodies matters. Our bodies need the right kind of food to live out the purposes of God. It is God's will that you be in good health; 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in good health, even as your soul prospers." Dr. Johnson Obamehinti guides this part 2 episode with his expertise as a Veterinary Nutritionist that has formulated thousands of diets using what is called comparative anatomy. It's never too late to develop healthy eating habits.
Developing healthy eating habits takes discipline and commitment. We are what we eat. In this episode, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti discuss two categories of food that are essential and nutritious to the human body. Eating produce and lean protein helps the body to fight off diseases and fuel the body with the daily energy it needs. Many times, eating healthy requires we make changes to what we eat. Our bodies need the right kind of food to live out the purposes of God. It is God's will that you be in good health; 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in good health, even as your soul prospers." Dr. Johnson Obamehinti guides this episode with his expertise as a Veterinary Nutritionist that has formulated thousands of diets using what is called comparative anatomy. It's never too late to develop healthy eating habits.
The axiom that we are what we eat is not only for physical nourishment but also for our spirits and minds. Through the natural realm we gain a better understanding of the spiritual (1 Corinthians 15:46). In like manner, what we train our spirits and minds to eat will determine what they get accustomed to. Similarly, it also takes discipline and practice to experience the rewards that come from it. In this episode Drs. Johnson & Feyi Obamehinti discuss the importance of the quality of the food we feed our bodies, souls and spirits. Unlike the natural that is focused on physical nourishment, what our spirits and minds eat affects both realms and determines the level at which we experience the abundant life in Christ. It becomes important then to take great care and be intentional in what we feed our spirits and minds. We are what we eat!
As the lent season comes to a close, believers in Jesus Christ look towards Good Friday that leads into Easter Sunday. The day that commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In this episode, Drs. Johnson & Feyi Obamehinti pray prophetically for believers to experience the resurrection power of God in every area of life. Because Jesus Christ lives, believers in Christ have a living hope that can never be thwarted by any scheme of the enemy. This Easter, we encourage you to find a church to worship the Risen Savior-Jesus Christ with other believers. Thank God for His indescribable gift to mankind. God is good!
Growth takes time. An oak tree takes up to twenty years to mature into an oak tree and produce acorns. An oak tree can live up to 1000 years and it starts reaching the end of its life cycle at around 700 years. Growth in life is similar- it takes time to develop strong value systems, character and become the best functioning person one is created to be by God. This means in life's development, humans fail and make mistakes. As Christians, there is great encouragement from God and His Word when one own failures, sins or mistakes through repentance and redemption. God forgives completely through His character and never holds any owned failure, sin or mistake against you. However, humans are not like that. They tend to hold your mistake and look for opportunities to bring it back, over and over again. In this episode, Drs. Johnson & Feyi Obamehinti answer the question of how to respond when people refuse to let things go, which shows more of who they are. Drs. Obamehinti empower and equip you in embracing who you are in Christ and living from a higher road lifestyle.
Every human being is prone to sin without the presence and help of the Holy Spirit. Unmet expectations many times leads to disappointment in relationships. This often predisposes a person when presented with the opportunity to what is called the "Judas Syndrome" as stated by Pastor Mather. Judas Iscariot was part of Jesus Christ inner circle that later made the choice to betray Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. In this episode, Drs.
