Belshazzar, grandson of Nebuchadnezzar, is the new king and instead of learning from the past errors in judgement of his Father and Grandfather, he's making all the same mistakes they did.

We all know that sometimes when things aren't going great in our lives, God might be trying to teach us some humility. But God can sometimes use success to teach us humility as well.
In today's message, Pastor Mark teaches us the story of King Nebuchadnezzar. A man truly favored by God, and was blessed by becoming the most powerful ruler in the history of the world. But when Nebuchadnezzar began taking all the credit for his success, God quickly humbled him by removing his blessings.

It can be a common experience for Christians to hesitate to proclaim God's word from the hilltops, for fear of being ostracized or being labeled a religious zealot by the world.
In this message, pastor Mark teaches the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these three men where thrown into a fiery furnace by the king of Babylon, when they refused to bow before him. But God rewarded their faithfulness and he preserved them from being consumed by the flames. In our own lives, God will reward us too, if we boldly stand for him; we have no need to fear when we put God as our priority.

I know most of us have used the term, "Oh my God" at least a few times in our lives. When things aren't going great, you exclaim "Oh my God", when you're surprised "Oh my God", even when you're happy sometimes you may say it too. But have you ever added the word "Why", after that phrase because maybe you felt God wasn't being fair?
In this message, Pastor Mark helps us identify the reasons why God may not bless us the way we desire; and what we can do to move towards the blessing, not away from it.

Entering into 2020 we all have wishes, resolutions, and goals for the new year. And even if we don't achieve everything we have on our list, we hope and pray God will bless us. However, sometimes we can find ourselves expecting a blessing that we aren't fully prepared for.
