Welcome to Episode 28 of Students of the Game. The NFL is our lead topic today with a jam packed Week 13. The Giants and Jets continue their astonishing ways to disgust the class, with a schism still separating the class on whether or not the Giants are truly good or just the best of a bad situation. We run down the the rest of the weekends games and close it out with JW’s Overreactions that had some of us crying like Deshaun Watson. Sir Buns of house Giubelio had some choice words for new news coming out fo the NBA and their new rule changes for stars of the game. We embrace with disgust the current state of the boxing worlds with the announcement of Logan vs Mayweathe and where we think it’s going in the future. The class moves to hard stuff this week for our whiskey/bourbon reviews of the week. Dr. Harry gives us a snippet into the NHL’s start to the season coming in the near future. Ryan brings out a new twist to 20 questions and I close out the class with Pop Quiz Trivia to try and stump the class.

Welcome all to Episode 25 of Students of the Game. The NFL kicks off our show and as always we discuss how much the New York Giants keep ruining a tankable season for the true fans of the team. Fortunately for the Jets they could not lose this week on a bye, the NFC west is on fire with who is taking the top spot, and JW gives us his weekly Over Exaggerations around the NFL. With the kick off of the short NBA offseason we pulled in quite the hall of tea for this week with rumors and confirmed trades bouncing all around the league. We continue sipping not tea, but an ICONYC IPA out of Long Island City, NY, Curb Your Ego. We scrap and wrap it up with the Scraps by JW which congratulates this years Masters Tournament winner. Ryan takes over the show with Debate Night from his library of mini-games that thankfully didn’t have Mike pretending to be a woman again. Finally we close things out with POP QUIZ Trivia that had some entertaining answers throughout the segment.

God damn what a jam packed week of football, we have blowouts, shocking QB performances, games no one even knew were on and of course, endless disappoint from our favorite NY teams. After we make it through the double period of NFL, our MLB slate features some hopeful and inspiring news to our in-class Met fans, who are buzzing about their new owner and how he has entered the building like a bat out of hell. We move on and speed through some NBA rumors and trash talk that has been hopping around the internet. Our beer of the week gets a broad range of reviews ,so much so, it had this producer triple confused. Scrapping and wrapping up our content for the day is JW with the Scraps that pays respect to an all time great game show host. Ryan and myself close things out with the second iteration of Role Play, a Ryan original mini-game and Pop-Quiz Trivia as always.

Episode 23 is here and it is ROARING. We kick things off with a jam packed NFL segment featuring some good teams, great teams, and down right shitty New York teams. The woes of our New York football “teams” continue to haunt us but cannot leave the hot seat of conversation. We Bridgewater the gap to the MLB where we congratulate the LA Dodgers on their dominant World Series win, however, Buns continues to be stubborn and not apologize for his false claims against them. The NBA has sparked some new trade rumors that may shake up the start of the 2020 season coming, hopefully, this December. 6 Feet apart, an India Pale Ale, from a local Brooklyn brewery is on the hot seat for this weeks Beer Review. Our NHL Inside Report and a couple of tid bits from the Scraps clean up our sports content for the week. Ryan pairs up the class for a role playing improv session as a new mini game of the week and finally we close our episode out with Pop Quiz Trivia.

What’s that? A new challenger has entered the arena for Statistically Challenged and defeated our two sports brains to start things off? We then slide into a hefty dose of NFL talk with some tragic injuries taking the lead discussion. We move on to some quick updates in the MLB playoffs and another year without the NY Yankees winning a World Series. We congratulate Lebron, AD and the LA Lakers for winning the NBA Finals in 6 games against the Miami Heat. Shaking up the day, we come on down to the Price is Right with Ryan for our game of the week. Our sober October beverage review gave half the class an attempt to recover from a long and alcohol filled weekend. Some NHL trades and signings, as well as new video game talk with Dr. Harry PhD and JW close out content for the day. We bring the episode to a close with a playoff slate of Sports Trivia that boost up the numbers for majority of the class.

Welcome everyone to the 19th installment of Students of the Game. Let’s start things off with facts: all New York football team that isn’t the Bills sucks. While on the topic of sucking, there are way too many coaches in the league that also suck and need to be fired, like Bill O’Brien. We swing into the divisional series in the MLB and how the class sees the playoffs going from here on out. The NBA Finals is still anyone’s game with the Miami Heat taking Game 3, which had some choice words being thrown around by some of their star players. We randomize our “beverage” reviews this week which brought on some interesting opinions for some classmates’ drink of choice. The NHL wraps up our content for the week with Dr. Harry Phd, who had some trouble remembering how the Tampa Bay Lightning won it all. As always, we close out with some Sports Trivia and another round of Just a Minute with Ryan who throws a new curveball into the rules that you won’t wanna miss.

Hello everyone, Mike here welcoming you to Episode 11 of Students of the Game! We are back from our week off in Ocean City and thankfully all of us made it out of Seacrets and a quick hurricane alive.

Let's get things going, we started off with who’s Hot and who’s Not in the MLB along some other heated events that transpired over this last week. We move on the NFL where the class expresses its disgust with the NFL top 100 and we give our Fantasy RB picks for this coming year. Then on to the Bubble and the NBA, which loves to give us spiciness in regards to players trying to breach quarantine. DR. Harry PhD gives as a solemn inside the NHL as his beloved Rangers were swept under the rug with ease to start the playoffs. Today’s beer had a unanimous consensus on how pungent it was. We cap things off with snippets from the PGA tour, our weekly History Trivia, and peculiar games with Ryan that leave us cringing and possibly internally bleeding this week.

On the mics today are John and Buns our two sports specialists, myself, Nick, Dr. Harry PhD, Jw and Ryan.
