Hi everybody, been having a rummage through the loft space and came across this is original blast from the past electronic garage track that was recorded at Manchester Midi School here in the UK back in 1998 and was composed and produced by myself and DJ Raw, so i brushed off the spider webs and it worked great, the track was composed on an Atari 1040ste with 1 meg of Ram and an old monochrome monitor and has made me feel real old lol Hope you enjoy! This track is inspired by flowery psychedelic swirly carpets and wallpaper of the 70s and an incident which happened on November 26 1977 and remains a mystery to this day when someone decided to share their extraterrestrial message with the world interupting the ITN televison news in southern England and calling himself Vrillon from the Ashtar Galactic Command it was early in the evening and a strange buzzing noise interrupted the newscaster Andrew Gardner. Only the audio was affected and the news reader was unaware that Vrillon from the Ashtar Galactic Command had interrupted the broadcast which is in a rough condition to say the least but i did some restoration and decided on a creative mashup from the best bits that are audible to convey the message which i feel is still relavant today in this original tripped out electronic space dub rock hop sci-fi cosmic psychedelic journey! This track is an original ambient binaural electronic organic tripped out instrumental journey and was inspired by watching the film Decent and a recent adventure to the mysterious Crank Caverns in Rainford UK on a clear but cold day and reading up on the caverns myth and history dating back to at least the 15th century with supposedly a subterranean church and weird cannibalistic goblins roaming down there in a labyrinth of caves and caverns!
The surrounding countryside and area is familiar to me since childhood, so i was rooting about near the caves for treasure like you do haha and i spotted a dark looking hole tucked away in the embankment close to one of the caves and thought to myself this looks interesting and not a rabbit hole so i found a fist sized rock close at hand and rolled it down, i suddenly realised this was a very deep hole and i nervous rush of vertigo speed through me as i realised i was over it by my self in the middle of nowhere!
I soon moved away and then went home for a lie down haha and ended up having the most strangest of dreams were i was falling down that hole as the vertigo took over me and pulled me to another world which started off at the local supermarket as i emerged from the deep dark watery cave from a door into the cake and biscuits aisle and then somehow ended up on the planet Mars ripping the sands up on a real mint Quad bike chasing a fantasy ocean as i kept on falling in a dreamy slow motion through time with everything rushing past me flowing like liquid at light speed seemingly forever but there were no goblins just spacial oceans, euphoric energy's and maybe one or two aliens! haha

The morning was bright and airy when i woke and the brilliant sunshine tempted me to go over our local woods, so i made myself some breakfast and headed out to take some photos of this wonderous sight, the birds were singing and the day felt positive and kewl, i found myself a nice place by a stream to chill and take some photos of this relaxing peacefull setting when there in the distance i could see there were 3 aliens dancing round the old oak tree, i rubbed my eyes and a shiver went down my spine, so with much nervous trepidation i wonderered over towards them with a giant smile upon my face, pointed my camera and i woke up two hours later in the undergrowth with a thunder storm brewing, suddenly a flying saucer raised up from the trees and speed off and was gone in a instant of the blink of my eye, did i capture this on camera as my cameras battery was now flat could it really be, i rushed off home wondering why i had a sore bottom and an itchy knee to check my pictures only to find my camera hadnt taken anything only the birds in the tree in this orginal electronic positive fun feeling chilled electro psychedelic dance alien encounter sci-fi journey! More old band history and memorys after finding this old band reheasal tape of early punk covers listed below from a band called Rabid Nettles i was in back in 1990 and was recorded on one of those portable tape to tape deck with the worlds smallest microphone using the lowest quality magnetic tapes of the 90s and restored as reasonably practicable! Great fun band and were big in Birkenhead! hehe The band also used to rehearse at same place in Wigan as The Verve before they were famous in an old club called The Den thats now been knocked down, we had some top gigs there the whole sceane did was mint! The band had this mallet of doom used for knocking posts in and on our last ever gig we smashed our gear to bits at end of gig and then everyone threw it at each other and audenice joined in too! I seem remeber the glitter ball been booted down the road at end of that gig too! lol

Strap yourself into your personal space suit and take a intergalatic spaced out trip to space and beyond in this new thought provoking gadget generated original deep mysterious electronic sci-fi dub hop soundtrack this time using Cubase synced up with a Doepfer Dark Time sequencer to trigger a Rakit sequencer via its clock input (you have to build Rakit kits yourself and use a soldering iron to fit componenets to the circuit boards) and then used its cv out to trigger a Korg ms10, i then used the tiny break out box from the Rakit sequencer to control and power a Rakit Atari Punk console and played the Deluxe Punk console live, i also used Cubase to send midi messages to a Korg Little Bits setup this time with 2 ossilator modules a mix, filter & delay module and used drums hooked up from Teenage Engineerings tonic and Soniccharges Microtonic multi and the voice you hear was generated by triggering a free vst instrument called Wavosaur VstSpeek3 and for the techies amongst use or anyone else whos interested some links to the gear and soft used! I thought i would set my self a challenge with this original chilled trip-hop dub styled instrumental soundtrack, it is entirely created from a single 0.136 sec sample i recorded over the woods of a fly lifting up from a flower, I transformed the sample by mainly time stretching or using pitch shift and morphing the sounds through filters, effects and eq, all the sounds, beats and everything you hear are created from the one fly sample which i added to the beginning of the track just to show you how short and meaningless it is but how it can be transformed giving a full 100% fly flavour with which i take no responsibility for if you are attacked by millions of fly's by playing this track! lool Peace :D

Here is my compostion for the Summoner-Of-Sounds Assault Action ive called it Die-Section187. I have tried to give this progression a dark futuristic sc-fi atmosphere and feeling of droping in from somewere else or another realm with a few near misses and then starting to summon the sound and build into an electro step metal rock dub original combat marching soundtrack style vibe but still enough room i feel for other game sounds to be layered over the top if needed but still dark and phat and heavy with that feeling of dodging lazers and psychedelic weapons in slow motion! Heres another band i was in the early 90s called Rabid Nettles band started off doing punk covers of the Damned and Anti Nowhere league, Gong, Nick Cave, Crass etc moveing forward from this we lived together in the same house called the nettle manor which eventually crumbled to the floor! lol We used to ride motor bikes up and down the stairs and have open fires in the kitchen! Lots of mad times and crazy free festivals! This track was recorded live in one take at Gerry Kennys studios minister of sound studios in warrington and captures the live punky new age space rock energy and drive of the time and is actually 33 mins long for extra trippyness! lol Enjoy this was my next step to band THC!

Alien planet just coming light and an incoming futuristic anti gravity shuttle pod drops an alien creature off on the beach near a forest! Dazed and confused the creature is suddenly under attack and flees into the trees the hunters pursue with glea in there eyes! The creatures finds some cover as the terror and sadness builds he remembers and misses his family and children! Then suddenly he sees his chance and runs! The chase is on! It looks like the creature is going to make it to safety and freedom! Nearly there! Nearly! yes! yes! Hes going to make it!! Does he?
