Dj Ali Gee

Ali Khalil AKA Dj Ali Gee. Born in Maadi of Cairo in Egypt in 1979 Till 14yo music was just something to listen but at 15 , what it was starting as a "joke' with a small mixer , a cassette deck and two record player, it became, powerfully, a reason of life. The discovery of new genres, the search of sounds, new sounds, styles and "hungry" about music and technical knowledge.....how many chances in 1995 people were having to "download " music as today?? There were many hours in 1995 watching every music chart list in tv, record the tracks using videotape, creating playlists, creating music collections. In 1996 the beginning of the first cool real playing in an underground club named "Coma". Nights, afternoons, parties passing to practise, to acquire, creating a new, peerless,different and alternative style. Buy the own mixer, than a Pro DJ Turntable and then a CDJ Denon F 1800 and F 2000... and life was music. Clubs, Discos, Events, Parties almost in all South Side Cairo and in all the nicest, amazing places in Egypt, they were asking for good music....R'n'B, Hip-Hop Old School, Deep Tech House, Minimal Tech House, Tech House , Progressive House, Electro House, Galf Club.....until we get to our days introducing reggaeton, moombahton and twerk.....!! Coma Underground Club, Space Club Cairo, El- Lial Disco ( supervising also the visual design light and sound of the club , by setting up, for the new opening of the place) and many others, most as a Resident DJ and Entertainment Manager or as a Special Guest. In 2009 the Online Competition for the Best Egyptians DJS ( Top 100 Dj's ) , organised by Pacha Sharm El Sheikh and Ministry of Sound, with the goal of 23rd on 100. In the same year the chance to participate in a great Online Competition for DJS ( Live the Dream) organised by Hed Kandi London with the goal of 50th on Top 100 for London and Hurgada. Music is not just to play or listen the sounds of the others or make a new version of a song but create your own one, your personal one. New tracks, featuring, new songs for singers, new ideas for musicians, advise for new born DJS....all already doing it.

Music is a total constant. That's why we have such a strong visceral connection to it, you know? Because a song can take you back instantly to a moment, or a place, or even a person.
