This will be a new feature on The Pixel Advocate podcast. I have a series of lists I would like to go over, on various retro gaming topics. In this first installment, I talk about popular games that don't really do much for me. For each list I clearly explain the criteria used for determining the selections, and I do my best to explain my thinking. I enjoyed this a lot more that I thought I would; hopefully you do too.
Many of us enjoy retro gaming primarily in solitude, because it is a niche hobby. Does this make it lonely? I provide my thoughts on this and discuss how I mix retro gaming with social situations, social networking sites, and even online dating.

Having given the Atari 7800 the old college try, we were eventually drawn into the Nintendo vortex that swept across the North American video game market in the late 80s. Join me for a talk about that time, including memories, stories, and discussion of random games from the era.
