2 Dubliners Talk Nonsense
Dubliner's Eoin O'Donnell and Noel Simpson pick a topic each week and discuss. The only problem is they tend to get a bit side tracked. Humorous and insightful Eoin and Noel will take look at culture, music, movies, Harrison Ford, James Bond, Lou Reed, Superman, cinemas, holidays, gigs....who knows where they will start...or end up. But they are guaranteed to get side tracked.
On this weeks adventure Noel took a trip to London Town. We talk about Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, a film made in St Patricks Cathedral and time itself!
An excited Noel pays a visit to the cinema for the re-release of Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom. Eoin gives us all a history lesson about Charles Stewart Parnell. Plus Children of Men, the National Concert Hall and some birthday donuts.
We reflect on a lovely weekend that Noel had...a trip to the wrestling in the National Stadium, he took in a show at the National Concert Hall and maybe a trip to London is needed.

He's just turned 91 and what a run! Going to the cinema you will have heard at least one of his many famous compositions. Go for a swim you know what theme will be lurking in your ear, doing something "dangerous" like leaping over a low garden wall and you''ll be whistling those jaunty notes, admire a sunset and that music will remind you that there are always possibilities....
Tonight on Tracks, Eoin and Noel will be playing (and mostly talking over) selected tracks from the film music of the great John Williams.
