The Randall Barnes Experience

Randall Phillip-Green Barnes is an nineteen-year old author, internet personality, student leader and mentor who currently resides in Macon, GA. Randall is already renowned for his positive, realistic, and morally driven writings. His first novel The Diary of Aaliyah Anderson, a Young Adult Fiction Book, has garnered over 59,000 reads on Wattpad.com and achieved universal acclaim in other arenas. Recently, Randall's novel The Diary of Aaliyah Anderson was added to the Bibb County School System Library directory, which allows Bibb County students to checkout the book at their high school. Also it was selected to be on the summer reading list for Raa Fine Arts Magnet Middle School in Tallahassee, Florida and added to library catalogs in Ohio, California, New Zealand and Canada.

Randall writes for the popular news website Urban Intellectuals the relationship blog, Courting Her and the literary blog Straight, No Chaser. Randall is also the author of the eShort Riverview High: Circumstances, which hit number 2 on the Amazon charts in the week of its debut, again coming in right under bestselling author Zane’s I’ll Be Home for Christmas, which was released the weekend of the debut of her movie Addicted.

Randall is the eldest son of Edward Phillip and Dr. Rhonda Barnes. He has one brother, William, and auntie Dr. Luciana Green, who serves as his booking agent, and his cousin Nia. Currently, Randall is a recent graduate of William S. Hutchings College & Career Academy. Along with being a talented writer,

Randall also has the gift of public speaking. He won first place in the FBLA Region 5 Public Speaking Competition in January of 2013. Randall also was the first student in the history of his school to represent Hutchings in the Rotary Club Speech Contest. The best is yet to come for this young man. He's currently a freshman at Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Georgia and is majoring in Media Studies (Public Relations), among other extracurricular activities such as being a tutor for the residential writing program.
