Who Am I Without the Hustle?

What happens when you strip away the degrees, promotions, job titles, accomplishments, and constant productivity?

Who are you then?

In this deeply personal episode of Let Me Fix My Crown, Regina gets honest about achievement addiction, productivity guilt, and what it feels like when your identity becomes more connected to your résumé than to the woman underneath it all.

For years, Regina’s hustle was fueled by survival, family responsibility, ambition, and the desire to create a life that looked different from the one she grew up seeing. Every degree, promotion, and opportunity represented growth—but somewhere along the way, constantly achieving became the norm, and slowing down started to feel uncomfortable.

Now, as she prepares to enter a new decade of life, Regina is asking herself a different question:

Am I chasing purpose—or am I trying to prove that I am worthy?

In this episode, we’re talking about:

✨ Achievement addiction and why success can become difficult to stop chasing
✨ The pressure to immediately move on to the next goal
✨ When your identity becomes tied to your career and accomplishments
✨ The emotional side of promotions, degrees, and professional growth
✨ Productivity guilt and why doing nothing can feel so uncomfortable
✨ How survival mode affects rest, silence, and the nervous system
✨ Conditional self-worth and the belief that you must produce to matter
✨ Becoming a softer, more intentional version of yourself
✨ Learning to separate who you are from what you do

Conditional self-worth happens when you only feel valuable while you are producing, helping, fixing, achieving, or succeeding.

But your worth was never supposed to depend on your productivity.

Your accomplishments may change. Your titles may change. Your career may change.

Your value does not.

Take out your journal and answer this question:

Who are you without mentioning your job, degree, income, relationship status, motherhood, or accomplishments?

Do not rush the answer. Sit with yourself. Come back to it more than once if you need to.

Then ask yourself:

What am I unlearning in this season of my life?

Maybe this week, instead of asking, “What do I need to accomplish next?” ask:

“Who am I becoming?”

Because titles change. Careers change. Promotions come and go.

But the woman you are becoming?

She is the real accomplishment.

Listen now, complete the reflection exercise, and share your answer with Regina on Spotify or Instagram.

Until next time, protect your peace, honor your healing, and do not forget to take care of the woman behind the crown.

Have you ever felt like you had to earn your rest?

In this deeply personal episode, I’m opening up about burnout, grief, anxiety, and the moment I realized my body was begging me to slow down. We often think rest only means sleep, but I’ve learned that rest can also look like setting boundaries, saying no without guilt, and choosing yourself before exhaustion chooses for you.

If you’ve been carrying the weight of everyone else while neglecting yourself, this conversation is your reminder that rest isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity.

This week’s challenge: Give yourself one intentional hour of guilt-free rest. You deserve it.

Let’s Keep the Conversation Going

I’d love to hear from you!

What does rest look like in this season of your life?

Share your thoughts with me on Instagram or leave a review if this episode encouraged you. Your story may be exactly what another woman needs to hear.

You don’t have to earn your rest. You deserve it. 👑

In this episode of Let Me Fix My Crown, Regina breaks down what mental clutter really is, how it quietly drains your energy, and simple ways to start clearing your mind today. If you’ve been overthinking, procrastinating, or feeling numb and overwhelmed, this one’s for you.Full Show Notes

Your mind might be more cluttered than your closet right now — and it’s showing up in your energy, your mood, and your ability to move.

In Part 1 of the “Declutter Your Mental Space” series, Regina dives into the thoughts that create mental chaos: the negative self-talk, the open tabs, the unfinished promises, and the emotional weight you’ve been carrying on autopilot.

She shares a personal story about realizing she wasn’t actually “tired” — she was cluttered — and how treating her mind like her home changed everything. If it doesn’t serve you, it doesn’t belong there.

This episode will help you name what’s really going on in your head and give you practical steps to create more peace, clarity, and focus.

Hit Reset — Creating a Fresh Start Without Waiting for JanuaryEpisode Title Ideas (optional):

  • Hit Reset: Why You Don’t Need January to Become Her
  • Start Today, Sis: Your Fresh Start Begins the Moment You Choose
  • The Reset Episode: No More Waiting for the “Perfect Time”

Episode Summary

Welcome back, beautiful people! In this episode of the Let Me Fix My Crown podcast, Regina walks us through a truth many of us forget: you do NOT need a new year, a Monday, a milestone, or a perfect moment to start over.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, mentally cluttered, or stuck in “I’ll start tomorrow” cycles — this conversation is your wake-up call.

Regina breaks down the myth of the “perfect reset,” shares a personal story about chasing that “January 1st new-me energy,” and gives you simple, realistic steps to begin your fresh start right now. No pressure. No perfection. Just intention and action.

🧠 5 Signs You’re Overdue for a Reset

  • Your mind feels cluttered or unfocused
  • You’re snapping, shutting down, or withdrawing
  • Even small tasks feel heavy
  • You keep saying, “I’ll start tomorrow.”
  • You feel disconnected from the woman you want to be

If any of these hit you in the chest… this episode is for you, sis.

3 Things You Can Do TODAY to Hit Reset

1. Let go of ONE thing.
Not everything. Not the whole life overhaul.
Just one habit, one thought, one energy drain, one person, or one pattern.

2. Refresh your environment.
A clean corner. Fresh curtains. A new lock screen. A candle.
Small shifts create big energy.

3. Take one micro action toward the version of you you’ve been avoiding.
Not the perfect action — the smallest step that counts.
One smoothie. One workout video. One decision to show up.

Micro moves create massive momentum.

💬 If This Episode Spoke to You…

Please share it with a friend who’s also ready to stop waiting and start stepping.

And come hang out on Instagram at @LetMeFixMyCrownPodcast
because we’re building a sisterhood of women who refuse to shrink, settle, or silence their power.

This episode is very special as this is out first Live Podcast on Facebook. This is also our first round table talk. We are joined by Kendra host of Coffee with Kendra Podcast, Qimmah host of Pillow Talk with the Tea Podcast, and Quanitea host of QuantiTEA Radio. This roundtable goes deep and you aren’t going to want to miss it.

Struggle love can be described as a struggle to love yourself. Women and men struggle with this everyday and it could be because something was missing or they experienced something traumatic. Another definition of struggle love is someone that is constantly in relationships and dont have their affairs in order. For example, job hopping or no job at all, not having their own place, is not financially stable and having children with multiple people. Black women are more susceptible to struggle love because they hold on to the fantasy of what the relationship could be and the potential of it.They hold onto something just to have something and ignore all the red flags.

Hello Queens!! The Let Me Fix My Crown Podcast is all about helping women repair their mental, spiritual, financial, physical, and emotional health. All of these combined make up your crown, and if one is out of alignment, you are out of alignment. Coach G helps you put your crown back on and become ALIGNED.

In this inspirational episode, Coach G chats with Shena Tubbs, a licensed, professional counselor, trauma specialist, and love addiction coach based in Houston, Texas. Four years ago, she founded Black Girls Heal, an online community and coaching program. Her mission is to help women heal from the symptoms of love addiction, love avoidance, love deprivation and the trauma it causes. This allows women to break free of their trauma and make way for the love that they want and deserve. Shena transitioned from being a counselor in a private practice to an online coach, where she bridged the gap between these professions to reach more women providing them with the help they need.

Through Black Girls Heal, Shena offers healing circles and a coaching program called Recovery School. Through healing circles, women connect with a group of like-minded women to start building healthy relationships in a safe place. Recovery School is an online recovery program in which black women receive coaching, helping them heal unresolved trauma due to love addiction, love avoidance, and love deprivation. Stay tuned, as Shena is initiating a membership called “The Healed and Loved Woman”.

In this solo dolo episode, we talk about staying true to yourself and being authentic. We live in a society where instant gratification is the norm. No one wants to be themselves; everyone wants to be someone else. There is no one else on this planet like you, and there is so much power in that. Being true to yourself means accepting yourself, flaws and all.

Here are 6 ways you can stay true to yourself:

  1. Be honest
  2. Spend time with yourself
  3. Invest in yourself
  4. Value your own opinion
  5. Never settle
  6. Stop comparing yourself to others

Hello Queens! On this episode we have a special guest, Kellee Williams. Kellee is a Lifestyle Management Coach. She is passionate about serving others, it is her pleasure to teach and inspire women to use their voices in order to live the life they desire and deserve. She has a Chica check in weekly coaching call for Free every Thursday at 7pm. Follow her on Ig: @just_kellee, Facebook: Kellee Thatch Williams, Twitter: @just_kellee AND visit her website: https://www.justkellee.com/

Coach G and Kellee discuss the topic of failure and how it can be a blessing. Failures are often disguised as blessings and are meant to teach you and mold you. When you look back at all your failures, you realize it was nothing but a life lesson. Every time you fell down and got back up was a new opportunity to learn and grow. Failure is success in progress.

Kellee shares her story of overcoming her failures and by learning from those mistakes, she was able to create a life she loves. She shares with us an acronym to help stay encouraged when faced with hardships. F.A.I.L simply means First Attempt In Learning. Be patient and kind to yourself and know that a failure does not mean the end, it is a beginning.

Kellee shares her top 5 ways to turn a failure into a blessing:

  1. Take a minute to breathe and process what occurred
  2. Ask yourself, What could I have done differently?
  3. Ask yourself, What lesson did I learn?
  4. Think about, How can I do things differently based off of the lesson learned, moving forward?
  5. Realize that you have God’s favor and abundance over your life

Hey Queens

This Solo Dolo Episode is all about getting you moving. If I have learned anything in the year of COVID; it is time waits for no one.

Back in June I posted on IG 10 Ways To... Well, I decided to bring that same post over here to share the same message but better because you get to listen to me break down easy tip.

Here are the 10 Tips:

1) Release your fear of failure: Doing this will alleviate stress, anxiety, and overwhelming feelings.

2) Set-up a system: routine, routine, routine

3) Focus on 1 thing at a time: Stop doing 100 things at a time. Schedule one task to complete a day. Once you complete one project you can move over to the next.

4) Eliminate distractions: When working on a project turn off your phone or put it on silent, turn off TV’s and any social media account. Everything is on pause until you have completed said task.

5) Prioritize Prioritization: Create steps, make list, start small. Most important to less important. This will help you complete your task on time and eliminate unnecessary stress and anxiety.

6) Have a schedule: Juggling work and family can be difficult. Having a schedule can ease some tension and help you create balance. Schedules create clarity and boundaries.

7) Be Realistic: Remember Roman was not built in a day; so, do think you can tackle ever task on your to-do list.

8) Ditch perfection: There is no such thing as perfect.

9) Allocate enough time for each task: Set aside a minimal of 1.5-2 hours for each task.

10) Celebrate your small wins: For each task/ goal you achieve celebrate your accomplishment.
