Control your frame – your stories, rules, beliefs, and laws, or rest assured, someone else will. Our lives are navigated through various frames; they mold our views on relationships, health, finances, and our spiritual walk. Each frame, whether it's our connection with the divine or with our significant others, holds profound significance.Consider my spiritual frame:No such thing as coincidences, only divine orchestration.God brings the right people at precisely the right moments; it's my duty to cultivate these relationships.Trusting in God's perfect timing, even when it feels too slow or too quick for my liking.Understanding that bargaining with God isn't an option. And then, there's the frame I share with my wife:She’s my confidant, my best friend, privy to every secret corner of my heart. She knows me better than anyone else, an expert in all things 'me'.Our union is a testament to divine timing; we were meant to find and forge this life together.Together, we stand as 'the ones', united and invincible. What frames guide your life? Are you actively shaping the narrative, or are you letting others dictate your story?Remember, the power to define these frames is yours, influencing how you navigate spirituality, love, and every other aspect of your existence.
You’re Not Lost or Failing, You’re Just in a Different Season. You’re in One of Those 6 Seasons...You're not lost or failing, you're just in a different season.Listen, as an immigrant and someone for whom English is a second language, I've often felt like I'm failing, like I'm behind, or that I should just quit because things aren't working out. But, it's crucial to recognize that often, it's about not identifying the season you're in.It starts with Uninformed Optimism (1), where you're excited about the journey. Then, as you begin working, you realize how much effort success requires, leading to Informed Pessimism (2), doubting your ability to maintain the pace.Eventually, you land in the Valley of Death, the Valley of Despair (3). This is where many give up. However, those who persevere usually do so because they find a guide, join a community, or find a tribe that helps them pivot to a new vision (4) or reconnect with their mission. This leads to Informed Optimism (5). Now, knowing the work required, the path to take, armed with the right tools and community support, you move forward. Then comes the peak - success and fulfillment (6) from achieving your goal and experiencing transformation. But is this the end? No, it's just the start of your next journey. The frequency of cycling through these stages depends on your approach to growth. Some go through it multiple times a year, others once a year. I've personally experienced this cycle numerous times each year. That's how, as an immigrant, I've evolved and transformed repeatedly. Managing six kids, running a business for over 10 years, building a seven-figure enterprise, all while maintaining a 15-year marriage. It's challenging, but it's about understanding these seasons and cycles. So, identify your current season and keep moving. If you need a guide, community, or tribe, seek it out. You can DM me (https://instagram.com/julieninspires) for a chat, or look for another supportive group. But whatever you do, keep advancing and look ahead to the coming seasons. You've got this. 👊Remember to RELEASE IT, BE SEEN, and DON'T HIDE.
I’ve discovered that teaching my kids is one of the ways God shares His wisdom with me.Truth be told, when my biological father passed away, a different level of manhood and fatherhood awoke in me. In every lesson God teaches, I find a reflection of myself. It’s always timely, striking chords deep within me. I feel the love, the frustration, the caring shouts, and the protective cautions of a father. Through His guidance, I navigate the complexities of life, understanding that each echo is a part of my journey, resonating with the voice of a father who cares deeply.I hope this speaks to you today. The lesson you’re trying to give your kids might be for YOU! ❤️julien@julienmarion.orgInstagram.com/julieninspires

In our lives, we often find ourselves trapped in fear, pride, professional anxieties, and cultural expectations. These barriers can prevent us from acknowledging our mistakes, binding us in a cycle of pain.
Fear of Judgment: We worry what others will think if we admit our shortcomings. This fear can paralyze us, keeping us from genuine connections.
But imagine the possibilities if we embrace our flaws and open ourselves to others. It's through vulnerability that we build trust, understanding, and authentic relationships.
Pride and Ego: Our pride can be a double-edged sword. While it drives us to succeed, it also stings when we fall short. The pain of a wounded ego can be deep, but the healing comes from recognizing that mistakes are human. By embracing imperfection, we cultivate self-awareness and emotional maturity, opening doors to personal growth.
Professional Repercussions: In the workplace, the pressure to perform can be intense. The dread of losing respect or opportunities holds us back from acknowledging our errors. Yet, when we shift our view to see mistakes as opportunities to learn, we foster collaboration and innovation. This shift in perspective can enhance our reputation and lead to professional growth.
Cultural Expectations: The invisible chains of cultural norms may bind us to a constant pursuit of perfection. The pressure to conform can be overwhelming, but we have the power to redefine these expectations.
We can create a community that values authenticity and empathy, where mistakes are stepping stones to learning and growth.

Yesterday was my birthday and I turned 37! So, in this episode, I wanted to take some time to reflect on this new year of my life and share some of my thoughts on aging, time, and change. To be honest, it feels a bit strange to think that I'm now 37. When I was younger, that seemed like such an "old" age, but now that I'm here, it doesn't feel all that different from 36 or 35 or even 30. Of course, I know that I'm not getting any younger, and that there are some physical and mental changes that come with age, but overall, I'm grateful for the experiences and wisdom that each passing year brings.Looking back on the past year, I can see how much has changed in my life. Some of those changes have been difficult or unexpected, while others have been exciting and positive. I've learned a lot about myself and what I want out of life, and I've grown in ways that I never could have predicted.I hope that listening to this episode will inspire you to reflect on your own experiences with aging and change. Whether you're 37 or 27 or 67, there is always something new to learn and discover about yourself and the world around you. He is also accredited with breaking his own personal, school, and field house record in the triple jump. Many would refer to him as a champion, however, he was constantly overlooked and ignored during his early years of life. Even after earning a spot on his high school team, Donovan recalls the inadequate feeling of being an underdog in his academics and athletics. Success seemed so far-fetched that over a period of time, as a youngster, he developed a very weak mindset. He had an array of limiting beliefs as a student, athlete, and eventually as an individual.🔵At Donovan’s lowest point, he made the wise decision to ask for help and seek the support of his parents, coaches, teachers, and mentors. Through these personal interactions with positive influences, he was able to develop successful strategies which began to strengthen his mindset. As Donovan continued to implement these strategies, he began to excel all the way up becoming a 2-time gold medalist, record holder, and a Top 9 ranked national competitor by ESPN! He solidified his place, stamping a mark in history.🔵Donovan’s profound journey, going from Zero to Hero, made such an impact in his community that he devoted himself to continue sharing his story. He used his unique life experience to craft the signature speech "Overcome Your Impossible." Donovan made the jump from the field to the stage becoming an award winning motivational speaker. His purpose in life now, is utilizing his voice as a positive influence, as he strives to make an impact on over 50,000 students, student athletes, coaches, administrators, and support staff each school year. Donovan has become accustomed to success and has made excellence his standard. He attributes it all to the character development received from his family, coaches, and educators. 🔵Donovan Tolbert has become passionate in replicating his success in other students, and uses research-based social-emotional learning strategies to improve student retention, increase graduation rates, and boost academic success.🔵Site: https://donovantolbert.com

"Empathy helps us understand each other better and come together as a collective community."How can I become more empathetic? So to build more capacity for understanding and caring for othersTo become more empathetic, start by spending more time listening and understanding other people's perspectives, rather than simply offering your own opinion. Practice actively caring about how others are feeling and try to put yourself in their shoes. You can also read up on different experiences and cultures to help you better understand and relate to the struggles and joys of those around you....but how do show more empathy via text messagesTo show more empathy via text messages, focus on using language that conveys understanding, support, and care. Use phrases such as “I’m sorry to hear that”, “That must be hard”, or “What can I do to help?”. Also, try to avoid one-liners, opt for longer responses that show you are taking in and processing the other person’s thoughts. Showing support in text messaging is not always easy, but by taking the time to craft an empathetic response, you will be able to make a meaningful connection with the other person. Here are some phrases you can use to show empathy via text messages:- “I understand how you feel”- “That sounds really difficult”- “I hear what you’re saying”- “How can I help?”- “I’m sorry that happened”- “I’m here for you if you need to talk”- “I know this must be hard”- “Let me know if I can do anything to help”You could also use phrases like “I care about what you’re going through”, “I’m so sorry you have to go through this”, or “I’m honored that you shared this with me”. These types of phrases will show that you are genuinely trying to be empathetic and support the other person in any way you can.At the end of a conversation, try to thank the other person for sharing their thoughts and feelings with you, and let them know that you are available if they need anything. You can also convey your empathetic support by saying something like “Take care of yourself” or “I hope you feel better soon”. This will show that you genuinely care about their wellbeing. Conclusion:For starting a conversation, you could say something like “I’d like to hear more about that” or “Can you tell me more?”. These phrases will encourage the other person to open up and share their thoughts and feelings with you.For ending a conversation, you could say something like “I’m here if you need to talk” or “Take care of yourself”. This will show that you care and are willing to help if they need it.

In the second grade, Dara (or “Daralyse Lyons” as her angry teacher called her) was sent to the principal’s office for misbehaving. When she arrived, instead of going in to see the principal and accepting her punishment, Daralyse lied about having a stomachache and needing to see the nurse. She’s been telling stories and putting on performances ever since. She wears many hats as an author, actress, yogi, and transformational coach/speaker, but the common thematic elements to all her endeavors are her love of stories and desire to help people find happiness. A summa cum laude graduate of New York University with a double-major in English Literature and Religious Studies and a minor in History, Daralyse brings intelligence, sensitivity, enthusiasm, creativity and business acumen to all of her endeavors. She lives in the quaint Mount Airy section of Philadelphia.
In this episode, we talk about authenticity, identity, and why you should be yourselves unapologetically.

Before we start our regular programing of interviews. I wanted to introduce myself, so you understand why I'm bringing who I'm bringing on. Hope you enjoy!
In 2014-15 I was called to start a podcast and inspire others to reach for their dreams, and do the impossible. I realized that most of what people said couldn't be done had been done, is being done. We just don't about it. I started to realize that there is a framework they all use. It's a simple framework but not easy. Those that have gotten out, what they have in their heart are resourceful, innovative, and connected.
So I launched on this journey, and the podcast started doing well, at its highest point it was ranked #4 in the Business category.
Like all good hero journeys, something happened.
After leaving my full-time job to pursue entrepreneurship, I didn't replace our income, and with 3 kids, a house, and another business. We were in financial trouble and ended up having to sell the house. And I had to put the podcast, coaching, and speaking down to rest. I had to put down that fire inside.
But now after 7 years or so, I'm back. This is the "BACK" episode, explaining that journey, and the future.
If you've been a listener before, I hope you'll join me again on this new journey. I promise it will change your life.
I'm Julien Marion, and my mission in life is to inspire possibilities and radiate positivity. Welcome to the Inspiring Possibilities podcast!
