This episode contains an exchange I had with Costi Hinn (who I have much respect for, by the way). Mr. Hinn took umbridge with the fact that Pastors were speaking out against the uprising at the Capitol Building. I disagreed with him and his reply was vague (to me). What do you think? Should Pastors have a voice in the political arena or should they just "shut up and preach"?
Also, this is the week we set our goals for 2021. Last episode we set our intentions so now we double down and start getting to the steps we need to take. Most people either refuse to set goals or they give up on them too early. I'm going to share my 2021 goals with you and we'll go over some tips to help make sure this year you not only reach your goals, you crush them!!
Happy New Year! 2020 is behind us and it's time to set our intentions for 2021. Before we put pen to paper we need to make sure that the work required to really embrace all that the new year has to offer has been done. We're going to dig into letting go of past resentments, forgiveness and fear. Once we recognize the areas within us that need work we can move on and begin setting those intentions. Intentions are the vision we have for our lives. Once we sit with God in our prayer time and hear the word he has for us, then we can set the vison of what our lives should look like. The next course of action is goal setting. Next week we'll start the process of setting goals, these should be the action steps needed to bring the vision to pass. Its a big task but its exciting because the new year brings about all of the possibilities we expect along with the insecurity that the corona virus has brought into our lives. We'll plan for what we know and leave some space for the unexpected. Let's get started!
I have become obsessed with Black Wealth. As a spiritually led woman most people don't think I care about wealth. They couldn't be more wrong. I just don't care about wealth for the sake of having money. I care about prosperity, prosperity in the home, prosperity in our health, in our careers and in our finances. I care about closing the wealth gap, the education gap and the healthcare gap. That is what Black Wealth means to me, it's inclusive of all those things and it means that we can live a life free of lack. Its generational wealth, so now our children have options. It means that we can now go forth and spread the Gospel. Wealth is freedom to live a life that points to Christ, not that we now have so much money we don't need him. It's not about the money, its much bigger that that. Join me on the road to prosperity as we search for the secret to Black Wealth.
Adulting is hard!! Our graduates are already starting off in a time that is unlike any other. This post is my way of giving them a financial leg up so that they don't make the same mistakes that I did. Soooo I watched John Gray and Joel Osteen talk about race last night and I have a few comments. Do you thing it was sincere or was John trying to clean up his image which was a bit tarnished after the Hurricane Katrina debacle?

The creation of "Black Wall Street" (and there were quite a few of these hubs scattered throughout the south in the early 1920's) shows us that left to our own devices we are perfectly capable of amassing wealth.
