John Gardner, the Minister for Education in South Australia visited Woodend today as a part of his tour of schools and kindergartens in our area. He chose Woodend to host a TV interview to talk about the new Phonics Screening Check, highlighting our school's strong results in this area. While he was here, the minister agreed to sit down and answer some questions for our podcast.
