Watoto brings hope and healing to vulnerable women and children in Uganda and South Sudan. Their ministry is inherently transformative and their choir has been able to show what God can do: His presence empowering the least of these to not only worship locally, but to sing in places like The White House, The Queen’s Jubilee and more.
We also speak on Brad & Rebekah’s role in this ministry, how they helped start the camp where the songs from their upcoming record were written, how Playback has allowed Watoto to “set the table and then get out of the way” in worship, and their role in the global, redemptive story of Jesus.

Fred Hammond is one of the most respected names in the music industry. He is a Grammy Award-winning vocalist, songwriter, musician, producer and arranger, and the architect behind the genre of Urban Praise & Worship—a genre of gospel music that did not exist prior.

Grammy-nominated Gospel artist, author, and speaker Anthony Evans is known for songs that merge a message of faith with a contemporary sound. The son of Dr. Tony Evans, founder and pastor of Dallas, Texas' Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, as well as a high-profile radio and television host, Anthony Evans started his career in 2001 as a background singer for Kirk Franklin. Launching his solo career in 2004, Evans has released several albums since then and really broadened his reach when he competed on NBC’s The Voice in early 2012 (Season 2).
In August, Anthony released his latest book When Faith Meets Therapy which he co-authored with his personal therapist, Stacy Kaiser. Christine D’Clario is an award-winning Latin CCM artist and worship leader. In her formative years, she suffered significant abuse and loss which eventually led her to the church. After straying from her faith in college, D'Clario suffered an extreme bout of depression and contemplated suicide. Citing a divine interaction, she eventually pulled herself out of the darkness and began exploring her faith through music.
We were so blessed by Christine's vulnerability in this conversation on how grief and trauma intersects with faith, and how prioritizing mental health is crucial for the Church. "The Father put a mirror in front of me and said: 'you have a great big heart, and I created it that way, because I need you to have big heart to connect people to me.'"
