Matthew 25 vs 35-45
“But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne.
All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.
For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’
“Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing?
When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’
“Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons. For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink.
I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’ “Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’
“And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’
Romans 3 vs 20-26.
For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.
But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Mosesi and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.
For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.
For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time.
God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he makes sinners right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.

Isaiah 1 vs 18-19.
“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool. If you will only obey me, you will have plenty to eat."
James 1 vs 13-18.
"And remember, when you are tempted, do not say, 'God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.
So don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters. Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession."
Luke 18 vs 8. "I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?"
Revelation 22 vs 12-13. “Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
Luke 11:1-4.
"Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As he finished, one of his disciples came to him and said, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”
Jesus said, “This is how you should pray: 'Father, may your name be kept holy.
May your Kingdom come soon. Give us each day the food we need, and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation.”

When Jesus saw their faith, He said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”Luke 5 vs. 24-25. "But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on the earth to forgive sins…” He said to the paralytic, “I tell you, get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”And immediately the man stood up before them, took what he had been lying on, and went home glorifying God."
Joshua 6 vs 2-5."And the LORD said to Joshua, “Behold, I have delivered Jericho into your hand, along with its king and its mighty men of valor. March around the city with all the men of war, circling the city one time. Do this for six days. Have seven priests carry seven rams’ horns in front of the ark. Then on the seventh day, march around the city seven times, while the priests blow the horns. And when there is a long blast of the ram’s horn and you hear its sound, have all the people give a mighty shout. Then the wall of the city will collapse and all your people will charge straight into the city."
Isaiah 41 vs. 10-11 "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. 2 Samuel 9 vs 1-10.
"One day David asked, “Is anyone in Saul’s family still alive—anyone to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” He summoned a man named Ziba, who had been one of Saul’s servants. “Are you Ziba?” the king asked. “Yes sir, I am,” Ziba replied. The king then asked him, “Is anyone still alive from Saul’s family? If so, I want to show God’s kindness to them.”
Ziba replied, “Yes, one of Jonathan’s sons is still alive. He is crippled in both feet.” “Where is he?” the king asked.“In Lo-debar,” Ziba told him, “at the home of Makir son of Ammiel.” So David sent for him and brought him from Makir’s home. His name was Mephiboshet; he was Jonathan’s son and Saul’s grandson. When he came to David, he bowed low to the ground in deep respect. David said, “Greetings, Mephibosheth.” Mephibosheth replied, “I am your servant.”
“Don’t be afraid!” David said. “I intend to show kindness to you because of my promise to your father, Jonathan. I will give you all the property that once belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will eat here with me at the king’s table!”
Mephibosheth bowed respectfully and exclaimed, “Who is your servant, that you should show such kindness to a dead dog like me?”Then the king summoned Saul’s servant Ziba and said, “I have given your master’s grandson everything that belonged to Saul and his family.
You and your sons and servants are to farm the land for him to produce food for your master’s household. But Mephibosheth, your master’s grandson, will eat here at my table.” (Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.)
1 Samuel 24 vs 4-13.“Now’s your opportunity!” David’s men whispered to him. “Today the LORD is telling you, ‘I will certainly put your enemy into your power, to do with as you wish.’” So David crept forward and cut off a piece of the hem of Saul’s robe. But then David’s conscience began bothering him because he had cut Saul’s robe. He said to his men, “The LORD forbid that I should do this to my lord the king. I shouldn’t attack the LORD’s anointed one, for the LORD himself has chosen him.” So David restrained his men and did not let them kill Saul. After Saul had left the cave and gone on his way, David came out and shouted after him, “My lord the king!” And when Saul looked around, David bowed low before him. Then he shouted to Saul, “Why do you listen to the people who say I am trying to harm you? This very day you can see with your own eyes it isn’t true, for the LORD placed you at my mercy back there in the cave. Some of my men told me to kill you, but I spared you. For I said, ‘I will never harm the king—he is the LORD’s anointed one.’ Look, my father, at what I have in my hand. It is a piece of the hem of your robe! I cut it off, but I didn’t kill you. This proves that I am not trying to harm you and that I have not sinned against you, even though you have been hunting for me to kill me.“May the LORD judge between us. Perhaps the LORD will punish you for what you are trying to do to me, but I will never harm you. As that old proverb says, ‘From evil people come evil deeds.’ So you can be sure I will never harm you. (New Living Translation).
Ecclesiastes 5 vs 4 - 6. "When you make a promise to God, don’t delay in following through, for God takes no pleasure in fools. Keep all the promises you make to him. It is better to say nothing than to make a promise and not keep it. Don’t let your mouth make you sin. And don’t defend yourself by telling the Temple messenger that the promise you made was a mistake. That would make God angry, and he might wipe out everything you have achieved."

He leads me in the paths of righteousness

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.

Then Isaac said, “Now, my son, bring me the wild game. Let me eat it, and then I will give you my blessing.” So Jacob took the food to his father, and Isaac ate it. He also drank the wine that Jacob served him. Then Isaac said to Jacob, “Please come a little closer and kiss me, my son.” So Jacob went over and kissed him. This will make us famous and keep us from being scattered all over the world.”But the LORD came down to look at the city and the tower the people were building. “Look!” he said. “The people are united, and they all speak the same language. After this, nothing they set out to do will be impossible for them! Come, let’s go down and confuse the people with different languages. Then they won’t be able to understand each other.”In that way, the LORD scattered them all over the world, and they stopped building the city. That is why the city was called Babel,b because that is where the LORD confused the people with different languages. In this way, he scattered them all over the world." (NLT).

I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! 6 I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’” 7 So I spoke this message, just as he told me. Suddenly as I spoke, there was a rattling noise all across the valley. Then skin formed to cover their bodies, but they still had no breath in them. 9 Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to the winds, son of man. James 3 vs 2 - 6. 2Indeed, we all make many mistakes. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. 6And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself.

And the fourth looks like a god[b]!”

1 Timothy 6vs9-10. Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. The focus should be the heart of service, worship, faithfulness, and stewardship in order for God who sees all things in secret to reward you in open. God bless you.
It is important to recognize that faithfulness wherever we find ourselves and in whatever we do will go a long way in helping a person to start and build whatever they desire in life. Do not be deceived, seek after the recommendation of Scripture that says "Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful 1 Corinthians 4:2." Every recommendation in Scripture has both physical and spiritual benefits. Faith is required to please God, holiness is required to see God, faithfulness is required for a steward, for one day, a steward will become a builder elsewhere and the reward of being faithful will generate results some day, and somewhere. God bless you.
2 Kings 5 vs 25-27. Elisha received double portion of the anointing upon Elijah, while Gehazi received leprosy from Elisha because of his greed. Capital is character, character is capital, and it is the will of God that a steward must be faithful in order to achieve what God has put in place for him/her as it is written in 1 Corinthians 4 vs 2. God bless you as you join this episode. Amen.
2 Kings 2 vs 2-15. It is imperative to depend on the Spirit of God to speak into your spirit. Work by the leading of the spirit and deny emotional attachments that may limit you from fulfilling your destiny. When it's time to move on with your life from a place or people, be unapologetically move on into the place God has prepared for you. No time to waste...remember, when you allow yourself to be limited by what you're connected to, it won't be the fault of what you're connected to anymore. Take responsibility and take charge as you move on. God bless you.
2Kings 2 vs 1-15. Whosoever or whatsoever you're connected to has the the capacity to either positively or negatively influence your life. Be careful of your spiritual energy intake, because many people at times, depart from a place with double portion of the operational spirit or with great loss of the little they have inside of them. It is never too late to evaluate yourself, hence reroute when and where necessary. God bless you as you join in this episode.
2 Kings 2 vs 1-15. Diligence where you are, diligence with what you have, perseverance where you are, and faithfulness with and what you are connected to, are essential ingredients that contribute to the required capital needed for the foundation of what you intended to build in future. Capital is commitment, capital is perseverance, capital is learning, capital is diligence, and capital is faithfulness. May God speak to your heart as we journey together in this series in Jesus name. Amen.
Acts 1 vs 8..."But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Knowledge is not enough to navigate the affairs of life. Power is much more impressive no matter the level of knowledge a person acquire. A person of knowledge may acquire many things, but an individual with power will rule over the one who live life with knowledge alone. Please, join me in this journey as we explore the importance of power as the true currency of the world. God bless you.
Philippians 4 vs 6-8. In this Scripture, we were encouraged to pray and give thanks to God in all situations instead of getting worried or anxious. The journey of Christianity is interesting and exciting whenever we rest on God's word. If you believe in God and take Him by His words, your life will be at rest. Pray and give thanks about everything and every situations in your life without leaving anything behind. I pray God will continue to strengthen and uphold you in Jesus name. Be blessed as you listen. Amen!
Matthew 6 vs 25-27. Life is full of situations that sometimes will prompt a person to justify reasons to be worried. It is understandable that there are unsolicited challenges that shows forth sometimes in some ways periodically and occasionally. The responsibility of a believer is to hold on to God's word that encouraged us to rest on God's word without worrying about anything. At times, worry creates loopholes for the enemy to occupy, but try as much as you can to fill every worrisome situation with God's word and you'll definitely see God in action. Be blessed as you listen.
Matthew 21vs28-32. Jesus encouraged us to be focused in our journey, and we should let our "yes" to be "yes". It is important to understand that we are not with Jesus to please men, but to do the will of God. The journey may be difficult, but His grace is sufficient for us. God bless you in Jesus name.
2 Kings 6vs17. The Lord revealed the plots of the King of Syria to the Prophet of God Elisha, and Elisha told the King of Israel about the plot against his nation by the Syrians. This got the king of Syria furious, and decided to capture the Prophet Elisha, but God was on the side of Elisha. Hence, chariots of fire surrounded Elisha and his servant preventing the captors from prevailing over them. God is able to reveal things to us in a way to get us prepared and rescue us from the enemy. What is required of us is a relationship with God, and seeking His face daily. May you be blessed in Jesus name. Amen!
1Kings 6:8-12. Amen!

Psalms 30:3. No matter what you are passing through right now, always remember that, Joy Comes in Morning. Weeping may endure for a night, and night times never last. No matter what happens, Joy Comes in the Morning. Listen and be blessed.
Everyone has faith, where a person channel their faith will determine the outcome of such faith. Faith in God is the Bible kind of faith that is capable of lifting you from where you are to where God has prepared for you. You cannot flip flop, stagger or doubt the one who requires you to have faith in Him and expect the results prepared for you. MARK 11:22 ...have faith in God! Express your faith in God at all times and the Lord will perfect all that concerns you in Jesus name. Amen!
Mentorship has it's root in scriptures, it is a Biblical concept...it is wise to get a mentor in order to achieve what your heart desires. You need to value the mentoring process together with the relationship without sentiments. Be a cheerful giver as well, do not make the mentoring relationship a parasitic rather, a one full of appreciation and results. As time progresses, you should be willing to become a mentor to others. By so doing, you become relevant in your chosen field. God bless you.
Give thanks to the Lord. Psalm 100 1-2 On your feet now—applaud God! Bring a gift of laughter, sing yourselves into his presence. 3 Know this: God is God, and God, God. He made us; we didn’t make him. We’re his people, his well-tended sheep. 4 Enter with the password: “Thank you!”Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him.5 For God is sheer beauty,all-generous in love, oyal always and ever.
Mentoring takes time, and the goal of every mentor is to impact on their protégé. However, before you go into choosing a mentor, 1. Have it in mind that your mentor has other responsibilities, as a result, his/her time must be respected. You must be willing to follow his advise regardless of how difficult it may seem. 2. Build your library. Read about your mentor before entering into Mentoring relationship. If your mentor has not written a book, ask questions, research about them on social media and so on. 3. Have a clear goal of what you want in the Mentoring relationship. God bless you.
Mentoring should be a symbiotic relationship, it is imperative for a potential protege to understand that he or she my not become a burden to their mentor. It goes both ways. Choose your mentor wisely because it will determine your outcome after a period of time. Also, have it in mind that, like every relationship, mentoring and protege involves investment of time, energy, resources, and your emotions. Therefore, be careful, who or what you listen to, where you visit, what you watch, and the association you build. God bless you.
There are seven types of mentor, it is imperative you choose wisely to avoid ship wreck. May God open your eyes in Jesus name. Be blessed as you listen in Jesus name.
The qualities of a mentor includes, first, he or she believes in you, and secondly a mentor does not see you as a competition to them. This means that you should carefully choose your mentor and by pass a potential tormentor. What you receive from w mentor is what you will pass to others as time goes on. Do not walk alone, because no man is an island, and a tree does not make a forest. A mentor is a teacher,a couch,a tutor and a counselor willing to put you through life, and also help you navigate in the right direction. Speed can only make sense when you travel in the right direction. In line with this, a mentor is a good fit for this purpose. Therefore, humble yourself and submit to a mentor that is capable of helping you to achieve the goals, vision and your heart desires. God bless you.
Experience, so to say, is one of the best teacher in human life journey. A Mentor uses his/her experience as a means to direct a protégé who is willing to follow directions. Knowledge is not enough, wisdom which is the application of Knowledge is imperative in human endeavor. You get to drink from the abundance of a Mentor experiential Knowledge and digest easily what others find difficult just because you have a mentor or mentors. A mentor help to navigate through your journey for a smooth right. Listen and be blessed.
TOPIC: GOD WANTS YOU TO FULFILL YOUR PROMISE TO OTHERS (PART 5) BIBLE READING: Joshua 6:22 ‘’Meanwhile, Joshua said to the spies, keep your promise. Go to the prostitutes and house and bring her out, along with all her family.’’
MESSAGE God is a perfect example for all his children to emulate. When an eagle screeches, her fellow eagles understand. When a horse neighs, his fellow horses know what it says and when a lion roars or growls, it communicates in a language known to other lions.
God promised the Israelites the land of Jericho and He fulfilled His promise. Therefore, Joshua said to the spies who went to spy the land before blasting the wall of Jericho by the land of God to fulfil their promise. Joshua understood the weight of any promise made.
The promise God made in Joshua chapter 2:14, 17-18 was fulfilled in Joshua 6:23, 25. The children of God followed the footsteps of their father, God Almighty. We can see here, that it is scriptural to keep your promises. Do not disappear after receiving your promotion, breakthrough or favour; fulfil your promises no matter the challenges. The difference between a user and a faithful person is that a user vanishes after receiving or obtaining his goals without fulfilling his promises while a faithful person stays connected to fulfil his/her promises.
Another perfect example of a man kept his promise was David to Jonathan, Son of Saul The king. Jonathan loved David so much, he knew David was going to be king and as Rahab did with the spies he made David promise him that he will preserve his family.
God will always remember those who keep to their part of promises. He will always take care of them from one generation to another. We have seen how God kept his promises to the children of Israel, how the two spies also kept to their promise and how David kept his promise to Jonathan despite Jonathan’s death. There is power in spoken words and promises. God wants you to keep your promises to Him, to your friends, co-workers, employees, employers and everyone you encounter as you journey through this terrestrial realm.
PRAYERS 1. Lord Jesus, I thank you for this eye-opening truth from the scriptures, may your name be praised forever and ever. 2. Lord Jesus, I thank you for helping me realize the power in fulfilling promises made by me. Please, accept my thanks in Jesus name. 3. Father in the name of Jesus, no more empty promises shall proceed out of my mouth. 4. Father, please touch the heart of anyone who has promised me good things to fulfil their promises speedily.
TOPIC: GOD WANTS YOU TO FULFILL YOUR PROMISE TO OTHERS (PART 4) BIBLE READING: Joshua 2:14 - ‘’we offer our own lives as a guarantee for your safety; the man agreed. If you don’t betray us, we will keep our promise and be kind to you when the Lord gives us the land.
MESSAGE The cost of betrayal is much more expensive than the cost of being loyal. Despite the fact that people trust in the Lord and put all unto God, there are certain individuals whose words we esteem when they speak to us. They have integrity. When they say ‘Yes’, we are sure they mean yes and when they say ‘No’, we are sure they mean ‘No’.
As we can see in the scripture above, the above, the spies used the word ‘If’’ as a chance to make sure they both got back to Joshua alive without any disappointments. At that point, they were still in Rehab’s house. They wanted to be certain before they put their lives at risk. They knew the power of promise. The word ‘’If’’ signifies doubt, uncertainty and all they needed was to get out in peace.
Never should you in any situation jump into making promises. Your words are potent and the one you speak to will hold you accountable for them.
What will your reaction be when someone saves your life and does you a very huge favour? Will you do as the spies who were not carried away with excitement by rushing out in a hurry without giving the blueprint that will help them to fulfil their promise? It is important you think before you make a promise to someone, don’t make a promise and later discover you have said too much and need to reduce the content.
PRAYERS 1. Heavenly Father, I thank you for your words to me today, please accept my thanks in Jesus name. 2. Lord, forgive me of any promise I made in a rush and was unable to fulfil afterwards. 3. Lord, please help me to be calm when promising anything to anyone. 4. Lord, please give me the ability to fulfil all my promise to you and to all men. 5. Lord, please cancel all repercussion of unfulfilled promises. 6. Father make me a perfect example of a man and woman who keep to his/her words in Jesus name. 7. Please Lord, help me mend, heal and restore every heart I have broken in the past or present in Jesus name.
When men seek after a thing, they appear humble, the moment, they get that thing, they become arrogant. Political and traditional leaders are to serve the people, refusal to serve always lead to chaos and civil unrest in the long run. The message for everyone during this period of civil unrest especially in Nigeria is, God is set to do a new thing, and he will not let the oppressed, the forgotten and the lost souls to perish in wilderness. Secondly, the question for every young ones is; what will you do differently if you God gives you the opportunity to become a leader now and in years to come? It is my prayer God minister to you as you listen to this message.
TOPIC: GOD WANTS YOU TO FULFILL YOUR PROMISE TO OTHERS (PART 3) BIBLE READING: Proverbs 4:23- ‘’Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.’’(NLT)
MESSAGE No man speaks without first conceiving the idea in his or her heart. Many of our actions are backed up by thoughts conceived in our hearts. Jesus Christ made it clear to us that it is not until a man carries out an idea that he commits a sin, but while he thinks about it, the sin is already committed.
Those who make empty promises have their agenda and reasons for doing so. It does not just happen. Proverbs 10vs11; ‘’ The words of the godly are a life-giving fountain, the words of the wicked conceal violent intentions.’’(NLT)
How pure are your intentions towards others when you relate with them? Let your words give life to people. There are people who depend on what we say. They believe us as we open our mouth on any subject. What are your intentions?
Rahab in Joshua chapter 2 already knew in her heart reasons why she needed to save the two spies. She planned a hiding strategy and provided the spies with logistics advice to prevent them from being caught by Jordan’s kings’ men. 16’’Escape to the hill, she told them, hide there for three days for men searching for you. Then, when they have returned, you can go on your way.’’
However, before she arrived at this strategic escape navigation, she highlighted the news they previously heard about the Israelites and how the red sea dried up for them to cross, also she mentioned how they destroyed Sihon and Og together with what they did to the two kings of the Amorites (Joshua 3vs10). She knew that destruction was coming soon to Jordan and the only way to escape the destruction was to make them swear to save her and her family.
She opened an avenue for them to go and got back favour as a result of her insight into the future. Rehab made sure they were safe before asking them for help in return. Before she said those words in Joshua 2vs 12-13 as quoted above, she knew in heart what she was up to. Whenever you render a help or favour for a brother, sister, friends, or co-worker, what are you up to? Do they or will they have the power to fulfil what your requests are? Must you do a thing for returns when you are helping out in a situation? Whatever you do, and wherever you find yourself, the most important thing is that God wants you to keep your promise no matter what. If you don’t mean it, don’t say it and if you say it, please mean what you say. Hallelujah!
PRAYERS 1. Father, I thank God for today, I praise your holy name for opening my eyes, please accept my thanksgiving in Jesus name. 2. Father have mercy on me, wash me clean from all hidden agenda against anyone in the present or in the past in Jesus name. 3. Dear Lord, help me to guard my heart with all delight, that I may speak life in every situation in Jesus name. 4. Lord, in situations where others are being casted down and prone to be destroyed, please spare me and my family in Jesus name. 5. Father direct the helpers of my destiny to me in Jesus name. 6. Father, please cleanse my heart that I may always think on what is pleasing to you at all times in Jesus name. 7. Heavenly father, I bless your name for answered prayers. Thank you, omnipotent God. I praise your name El-Shaddai, Alpha and Omega in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
TOPIC: GOD WANTS YOU TO FULFILL YOUR PROMISE TO OTHERS (PART 2)
BIBLE READING: -Ecclesiastes 5:5-’’ It is better to say nothing than to make a promise and not keep it’’ (NLT)
MESSAGE: We noted earlier that a promise is an assurance to do something. It is a declaration, that is, words. An invisible representation of every man or woman is his/her word. What do you say to others when you need a favour, a thing or an opportunity? What do you use in exchange for what you desire? What are the collaterals you tender to people in an organization?
A promise is what we use most times. Even when someone knows that they are not going to do a thing, yet, they still go ahead and make a promise. This is not what God wants from you, He wants you to always keep to your promises. 5’’ It is better to say nothing than to make a promise and not keep it’’ -Ecclesiastes 5:5(NLT)
‘’You must not testify falsely against your neighbour.’’ –Exodus 20:16 (NLT)
No matter where you are and what you do, be a man or a woman of your words. There is no big sin or a small sin. Sin is sin. There is nothing like white lie or brown lie. A lie is a lie! When you make a promise and do not keep it, you have lied. It is better to say nothing than for you to commit a sin. John 8:44 says; ‘’for you are the children of your father the devil, and you have to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truck, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.’’ (NLT)
We can see that all liars are associated with the devil through the scripture above. Matthew 5:7 also affirms that; ‘’ But let your yes be yes and your ‘no’ ‘no’. For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.’’ (NKJV)
PRAYERS 1. Heavenly father, I thank you for your word today, I adore your Holy Name for you are good. Please accept my thanks today in Jesus name. 2. Dear Lord, give me the ability to always say the truth no matter where I find myself in Jesus name. 3. I rebuke every seed of lie and I break every gene of deception in me, they will never reoccur in my life in Jesus name.
TOPIC: GOD WANTS YOU TO FULFILL YOUR PROMISE TO OTHERS (PART 1) BIBLE READING: Ecclesiastes 5:5-’’ It is better to say nothing than to make a promise and not keep it’’ (NLT)
MESSAGE A promise is a declaration that you will do something. It is giving your assurance as regards a specific action. Many of us make promises in one way or another every day without remembering that the power of life and death is in the tongue.
When you open your mouth to say a thing, you are either giving life or pronouncing death unto the lives or things around you. Everything God created responds to spoken words; for they were all created by words spoken by God in the beginning. Therefore, there is power in our words since we were created in His image.
The same way we depend and hold on to the words of God to us is the same way people depend on spoken words from us and trust us to fulfil whatever we say to them. Some go into any length or height to lay down their lives and possessions all in the name of what someone told them.
We may have heard or seen young men and girls heartbroken because of unfulfilled promises by trusted close friends, parents or family. Many companies and organizations have lost investments due to unfulfilled promises by individuals and vice-versa. The cause of depression or death in the life of some originated from broken promises. Some husbands or wives battle mental illness due to broken promises by the one they trust the most in form of spouse. Governments, politicians, and political office holders often throw promises into the air to win the hearts of the electorate to secure a post and act otherwise after getting into the office. The list goes on and on.
Throughout the scriptures, we saw how God often fulfilled His promises to His people. He didn’t lie to anyone. His words are mightier than His name and He is always committed to everything He says. If the same spirit that is in God is in us, we should therefore cultivate the habit of keeping and fulfilling our promises to others.
PRAYERS 1. Lord, heal every wound in my heart as a result of broken promises in Jesus name. 2. Father set me free from every bondage of broken promises. 3. I forgive everyone (mention their name) of the hurt inflicted on me in the past in Jesus name. 4. In Jesus name, I come out of the world and I am separated for the Lord’s use. 5. Thank you, Father, for your grace and mercy upon my life in Jesus Name.
Habakkuk 2vs2. International Version Then the LORD replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.
New Living Translation Then the LORD said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.
English Standard Version And the LORD answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. Vision is the ability to seeing beyond the "now" into the future. It is impressive that the owner of a vision to write it down for clarity and must be careful who you bring into the vision you've seen. Not everyone belong in the arena of your vision. Your daily activities and actions will contribute to the actualization of your vision. So do not give up.
Daniel 1:8-21
New Living Translation
(8 But Daniel was determined not to defile himself by eating the food and wine given to them by the king. He asked the chief of staff for permission not to eat these unacceptable foods. 9 Now God had given the chief of staff both respect and affection for Daniel.) Focus is a celestial gift that must be implemented in the terrestrial, in order for you to achieve what God has in mind for you. You cannot achieve much if you are a "yes" person. You must learn to say "no" to people who bring ideas that are out of shape and out of alignment with what you have seen previously. Focus, and the ability to say "no", they both walk together as close associates. You must embrace them in your journey, in order to achieve what God has put into your heart. God bless you.
Isaiah 66 vs 7-10, "Before she goes into labor, she gives birth; before the pains come upon her, she delivers a son.8Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.9Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?" says the LORD. "Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery?" says your God.10"Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice greatly with her, all you who mourn over her. Psalms 30 vs 6. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Every war, every battle and every challenging situation will come to an end. God will do a new thing as you stay connected with scripture. When victory becomes evident, don't relax, there's more to battle. Those who relax eventually becomes winners of yesterday, and those who keep on fighting, keep on winning remain winners every day until Christ comes. Life is full of wars, battles and challenges, you can't afford to be defeated. Victory is your portion! Stay connected to God and he will do a new thing! Remember, a nation that never existed, can be born in a day through the power of the Almighty God.
Revelation 12:7 -9.... 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. The first war recorded was in heaven when Michael fought and won the battle against Satan. Satan became an outcast thereafter and he decided to start tormenting human as a result or as revenge so to say. Constantly, we fight battles in every department of life. You must be a winner in all the department of your life in order to be called a success. How you will win those battles is determined by your ability to study and apply the word of God into the situations of your life. You are born to win, therefore, go and succeed as you listen to this podcast episode. God bless you richly.
TOPIC: ORDERLINESS IS NEXT TO GOOD MANAGEMENT, PREVENTS CHOAS IN PERSONAL LIFE AND BUSINESS (PART 2) BIBLE READING: Ecclesiastes 3 vs 1(NLT)-"For everything, there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to harvest. MESSAGE Today, my question for you is; why should you live a life of disorderliness and expect an outstanding success? A routine life is different from an orderly life. You can only form a routine around a created order or a created disorder. For example, the Bible says, "study to show yourself approved unto God" ref. 2Timothy 2:15. Also, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth."Joshua 1 vs 8. If you must obtain something worthwhile, receive a crown, or do mighty things, you must form the right order that will enable you achieve that particular thing. You cannot choose to sleep, fold your hands, spend enormous time on social media, gossip, hang around friends and gist the whole time at home or in your place of work, in your circle or routinely, and expect to know what someone else that studies hard day and night knows. Studying should not be limited to writing school exams that honor you with certificates. Life itself has a whole lot of tests, exams, and projects. "A little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber" ~Proverbs 6:10-11 (NLT) Jesus was believed to have learnt carpentry, Matthew was a tax collector, Peter was a professional fisherman, and John was a Fisherman as well. Jesus chose to work with professionals who were diligent and those who did their work in an orderly manner. They were found at the right place working. What are you doing? What do you have in your hands? What will you be remembered for? You can only give what you have. A life that must continuously succeed and progress must continue to revisit the order he created. Each day has its own blessing, and breakthrough, your readiness is what will determine if you will get them or not. The right order is what generates results. To have a good relationship, you must be open and willing to communicate effectively and efficiently. To pass a test or exam, you must study as hard as you can. To know what God says about you, you must have faith, pray and study the scriptures. Success in business requires right training, be willing to go for that training to help you become a better person. A little push from the inside of you will get so much done. Get up from where you are, create an order, draw a time-table for daily living, map out timelines to achieve a particular task, give every activity a duration/time, manage time by planning the day ahead of time, cut off unnecessary time wasting friends/relationships, maintain a disciplined healthy lifestyle, persevere, never make prayer an option, pray every time about all things. Imitate God, be a person of order in doing the right thing over and over, do not relent. Life is a journey! If you plan well, you win. When you win, become a student again. Yesterday’s strength is never sufficient for today or tomorrow. Learn, unlearn and re-learn always and at all times.
TOPIC: ORDERLINESS IS NEXT TO GOOD MANAGEMENT, PREVENTS CHOAS IN PERSONAL LIFE AND BUSINESS (PART 1) BIBLE READING: Ecclesiastes 3 vs 1(NLT)-"For everything, there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to harvest. MESSAGE There are three arms or branches of government in a democratic setting, they include; the executive, judiciary and legislature. These branches see to the smooth running of the government and the society in which they govern. Every elected official run for elections and re-elections at a particular time and season mostly every two years or four years in most countries. There is a time to campaign and win the heart of electorate, a time to cast votes and a time to be sworn-in in order to govern. Humans see the need to promote peace and manage the affairs in the society; hence institutions and constitutions were created to this effect. When we look at school systems- elementary to university, you will discover order; there is a time to sit for an exam, a time to resume class, a time for tests, a time to write papers, midterm/semester break, a time for vacations and a time to move to the next class/level/stage. In fact, various classes manage their affairs with a class time-table that states what subjects/courses teachers/lecturers are to come in. In the end of all these, a student who is able to follow through is awarded a certificate. The author, creator and owner of the whole universe- God Almighty, is a master of order. All things He created were according to order, nothing was out of place. All the beautiful things we see in creation were made by him. For example, God created all things one day after the other. He made sure the seas he created had fishes in them and He created birds to have fun in the sky as well. All things were perfectly made by Him. The book of Genesis chapter one gave us a detailed account, but let us highlight some; DAY ONE~ Genesis 1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth..." DAY TWO~ Genesis 6 ..."Let there be a space between the waters, to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth... 8 God called the space "sky"." DAY THREE~ Genesis 9..."Let the waters beneath the sky flow together into one place, so dry ground may appear..." 10 God called the dry ground "land" and the waters "seas"..." DAY FOUR~ Genesis 14..."Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night....15 Let these lights in the sky shine down on the earth."16 God made two great lights, the larger one to govern the day, and the smaller one to govern the night. He also made stars." DAY FIVE~ Genesis 20...."Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind." DAY SIX~ Genesis 24..."Let the earth produce every sort of animal, each producing offsprings of the same kind--livestock, small animals...and wild animals..." DAY SEVEN~ Genesis 27..."...God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them". We can see order in the book of Genesis. After forming man, the digestive system, organs, cell, skeleton and flesh that cover man were made to also work in order. Any shift in order or little fault in these human parts could chaos in the body. God is a God of order.
TOPIC: LIVING FREE; FORGIVE AND MOVE ON (PART 4) MESSAGE Continue...; The fact was Saul planned to assassinate David but the reality was that David found favour before Jonathan, the son of the Assassin-in-chief of Saul. The fact was, Saul threw his spear to pin David to the wall, the reality was, David made a good escape that night. Later on in life, David became King at age 30 (2 Samuel 5vs4), which means He went through all the distress, disappointments, escape from assassination early in life. He did something remarkable this time around when he became king. He asked if there was anyone left in the house of Saul, the assassin, a man who plotted to kill him and missed, that he may show them kindness. (2 Samuel 9vs1). Like, seriously? Show kindness to the generation of someone who tried to kill you? Then, a man called Mephibosheth, son of Jonathan, grandson of Saul the assassin was found, despite his handicap situation on both legs, David took him in and Mephibosheth enjoyed the rest of his life with lots of servants serving him at the command of David.(2 Samuel 9vs6-12). Why worry about those trying their best to demean you at all cost? Why worry about those who have hurt you in the past? Why lock them in the inner most prison of your heart? Release them today, pray for them, and let them go that you may see and possess the glory and lifting allocated for you. You are the one delaying or slowing down the glory and testimony intended for you by letting an unforgiving spirit dwell in you. Say no to unforgiveness today and forgive everyone in your past, present and write a blank check for the future in the bank of forgiveness for those who will/may still hurt you. Regardless of your age, you still have a lot of time to forgive, pray for them and move on. Call their names in prayers, just let them go, set them free, bless them and clear the atmosphere for fresh blessings to pour on you. Unforgiveness is like the Prince of Persia as seen in the book of Daniel 10vs13 blocking your way for so long, and preventing you from getting ahead in your desired area of life. Finally, when you speak, speak love, do not let built up bitterness propel hateful words from your mouth. Dissolve all the built up hatred, bitterness and mood swings emanating from experiential hurts, forgive others, pray for them and dedicate your own life completely to God. God is waiting for you, please come home to Him, there is a place for you in the kingdom. The deep secrets of the kingdom have been revealed to us by the Spirit of God. The greater the challenges, hurt and difficult situations, the higher and greater the glory. You have only one direction to go in life as you act upon the word of God. The direction set for you is upward and forward. Plug into that and see it come to pass. Those who hurt you did their best; the rest is up to you as you have been admonished with this message. The word of God is clear when he says; "...the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God- his plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began. But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would not have crucified our glorious Lord. This is what the scriptures mean when they say, "no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him." 1 Corinthians 2vs7-9 (NLT). In honour of the above scripture, living free has now become a possibility as you move on, and as you step into the special domain prepared for you a long time ago, that no one has seen, heard or imagined. I congratulate you on this special day of turn around, moving on, celebration, freedom and a new dawn.
TOPIC: LIVING FREE; FORGIVE AND MOVE ON (PART 3) BIBLE READING: Matthew 5vs44-45 - "But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust alike." MESSAGE A very good question I must ask you? How many or how much good did you do for God before He sent Jesus Christ to die for your sin? Jesus started his ministry at age 30 (Luke 3vs33). He did not live long after the commencement of his ministry. Jesus Christ died for you and I, he gave his life for us and forgave those who crucified him. He let go, even at the point of death, those he once healed, delivered and provided for, who should have rescued him from crucifixion but instead triggered it. Jesus said: "...Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing..."And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice. ~Luke 23vs34 You may ask, Jesus forgave them? Really? Why did He do that? Because He knew the end before the beginning of things, situations or events. That fact was, they lied against Him, they beat Him up, spat on Him and finally, they crucified Him. The reality was, He forgave them and pleaded with the Father to forgive them for their ignorance. Those who hurt you are as good as those who crucified Jesus. They have no idea of what they are setting you up for. Perhaps, it may look like they know what they are doing with their natural eyes. As Jesus saw the glory ahead with supernatural eyes, see they glory ahead with your spiritual eyes in every similar situation. In order to see clearly and spiritually, you must first forgive, let go, stop the ill-talking about them, release them freely from your emotion (soul) and release them from your heart (spirit), let them go! See the glory ahead. David a man after God's heart did the same too. It is not surprising that David became a man after God's heart. He forgave Saul, who planned to assassinate him (1 Samuel 19vs1,and 9-10). David saw the glory ahead. What do you see in your current situation? I urge you, see a glory ahead.
MESSAGE: You may not be able to control how people deal with you or how people hurt you. You need to activate within you the ability to control how to respond to hurtful situations. For example, if in the past a brother was in a relationship with you and cared so much that you felt more loved and secure in his arms, then suddenly he made a u-turn to share and transfer his affection to another sister and he began to pick on every little thing you did in order to get away with the years of your life that he has wasted. Finally, he left and your loving relationship disappeared just like that. What did you do? What happened next? It could also be a brother that a sister did this to. What did you do? What happened next? If the one you were kind to suddenly becomes your back stabber and speaks ill of you, what will you do? What happens next? Perhaps the one you faithfully served and protected his interest planned to kill you despite your service, what will you do? What happens next? It is a fact that those things happened in your past, it is a fact that those things may be happening to you currently. But, it is a reality that you are still very much alive to read this, it is a reality that God has made provisions for you to move on because you deserve better than what you used to settle for. You were once blind, but now you can see. You were once lost in your own desires, now you are found in God's agenda. Stand up, shake it off, and move on! "...and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us." ~ Matthew 6vs12 As you may have had in your past or present those who hurt you, also, you may have had in your past, recent times or presently one person or those who may have touched your life specially and it forever remained in your heart. They are the special ones who did something remarkable and generous to you that no matter what happens, no matter their mistakes, no matter the hurt or shortcomings; you will keep in remembrance that one act of kindness. You keep saying to yourself, "they deserve better", "they are good to me", "the unpalatable situations presented by them to me, it is not who they are." You can't get over the amount of kindness you got in your life through them. That one experiential knowledge of who they are can never wax cold. Therefore, you easily let go of any hurt, or shortcomings. Good for you! That is what God expects of you. The only thing you must do is, you should extend such forgiving ability to undeserving people either in your inner circle, family, relatives, workplace, school, or worship center (church or fellowship).
There was a parable of a servant who borrowed a huge amount of money from his master but couldn’t pay back, and in the process of taking account of debtors, the master who happened to be a King remembered this particular debtor. Then he decided that the debtor should be sold, together with his wife, children and all his belongings. The servant debtor begged him and cried bitterly with his face on the floor seeking for debt relief/cancellation. As a result, the King was moved with compassion and cancelled his debt. He became free and reunited with his family. But, something happened thereafter. The same servant, who got debt cancellation worth millions of dollars from the King, went after his own debtor and demanded his money be paid immediately despite repeated plea for more time from the servant that was now in the position of a creditor. He refused the plea and got his debtor arrested and thrown in prison until the money was paid off. The on-lookers and by standers took the matter to the King and broke the news of the cruel event to him. Suddenly, the King became furious at the report and issued a command to get his former debtor arrested and thrown into prison for refusing to pass the baton of kindness and forgiveness until his debt was paid in full. "Kindness is like a baton in a relay race, it is important you pass it on when you receive one". God is so gracious to us because when man fell, he came to our rescue from the pit. He gave us eternal hope. His love never fails. He gave us the best gift ever; His only son who died for our sins, resurrected, and ascended to prepare a place for us in the Kingdom. What did humans do to deserve this special treatment from the Most High? Your place in his heart is so beautiful that even Satan became so jealous, deceived man, and right now he is on a threefold mission to steal, to kill and to destroy. Still, the most High kept upholding us as the apple of his eyes. He sent the comforter, The Holy Spirit to be with us and teach us all things. All these, are royal treatments, they are kingdom lifestyles because the wealth of these virtues are abundant in His kingdom. He forgives us our sins, in fact He invites you to come and reason with him no matter the color of your sin. Your sin may be as scarlet, or red as crimson, he has made provisions for them to be white as snow and pure as wool (Isaiah 1vs18). He does not hold you to ransom anymore. He is everly faithful and just, to turn things around in your interest for the edification of the body of Christ and the glorification of the kingdom of God. This is His lifestyle, an unbeatable Kingdom lifestyle. We belong to his kingdom. Why the delay in being merciful and forgiving? He has called you and given you the ability to do likewise.
