I pour my heart soul and mind into every episode because I genuinely want to help you reach a future full of good vibes. Your mindset affects everything in your life and I want to show you the wonderful potential of an improved mindset. Together we can become the best versions of ourselves and begin to make our world a better place for all.
With today being the last today of suicide awareness month, it was a strong motivation for me to finally resume podcasting. In this episode I want to share the recent emotional struggles I've been having and hopefully it helps some of you talk honestly about your depression too. This is also the final episode of my season 2 so I summarize my past year and a half of being a podcaster. One more large development I've achieved recently is my website being ready! Check it out at, fromheretohappy.life
When someone is overwhelmed by life and their negatives, it's not easy to know what to say to help them. Asking them questions is a lot more effective than telling them what to do, and it all starts with this question. Essentially, do you want to talk about it or do you need a distraction for now? If we make the decision on how to help someone, we could easily be wrong so it is crucial to be asking them how to be helped.
This episode is similar to my episode about Mental Souvenirs, since it involves attaching thoughts and memories to things in the world. This is something we all do already especially with music. Whenever you hear a specific song, it can trigger a very specific thought. That is the concept I want to teach you how to do on purpose. My ordinary rubber drug-free wristband, became a powerful reminder and promise to myself because I anchored it to my feelings of wanting to be sober. Many more examples in the episode, so have a listen!
The ability to learn from everything everyone and every moment is easily what has helped my mental health journey have such progress. Since this is so important to me, I split the episode into two parts. The first part explains the concept and the second part is full of examples and ways that I have learned valuable lessons from everything.
A large contributor to depression and unhappiness is caused by comparing ourselves to others, but we can never know the full details of another person so how could we accurately compare? This episode explains how harmful comparisons can be, and gives three strategies to help you focus on your own life. You are already enough.
The expectation gap is the distance between what you expect to happen, and the reality that comes. The larger the gap, the more disappointment and failing will be felt and we need to be able to avoid this unnecessary pressure. In this episode I talk about two types of expectations gaps and ways of thinking to minimize our expectations. Also just in case I didn't say it in this episode, I love you all
This episode pairs greatly with the previous episode about Leaving things better than you found them, because when you buy from a company that means you are supporting their methods. Most company's methods involve single-use plastics and other decisions that are very harmful to our planet. These few companies were created with eco-friendly intentions and you buying from them supports their ideals.
Try any or all of these companies mentioned in the podcast episode, and no I don't get any commission! I only have the hopes of helping you all realize that we can be consumers with a purpose of improving the world.

There are many things that we can all leave better than we found them, such as people or stores or a park. This episode has many examples of ways to make things better around us and the key to it is to aim low. Even tiny improvements each day still count as making things better.
Saying sorry too much leads to low confidence and an increasingly debilitating burden-mentality. Learning to be selfish with your sorries is not an easy task but it will be one of the more important things you can do for yourself. Realizing the difference between when you actually negatively impact someone, compared to when you just assume you bothered them is a huge step for your mental health.
In this episode I hope to help change your perception of love so you can realize that love is everywhere. Then I will explain the 3 different ways that you can feel loved in your life, and with an open mind you can start to genuinely believe that you are all loved.
MEOW your mind. Minimalize, Externalize, Organize, and Win.
Cut out the irrelevant thoughts by getting those thoughts out of your head. Write them out or talk them out to make it easier to process and organize the productive thoughts. Then finally, win. Win the battles inside your mind. MEOW daily and install the ColorNote app on your phone! Organize and outlet all those thoughts in your head using this free app that has forever changed my life for the better.
You may have heard of placebo effects and how beneficial they can be for healing, but nocebo effects are equally powerful but with negative results. This episode will be using these two effects to prove how powerful our beliefs and mindset can be. Our choice of words when speaking to others and especially ourselves is beyond important, so choose your words and thoughts carefully!
This episode discusses 4 different choices that we all have in the face of adversity, and I hope to inspire you to begin choosing. Once you accept that you cannot control everything that happens to you, you'll begin to realize that you can only choose how you react to the struggles of life.
The most important aspect of focus to realize, is that you have a choice. We can all choose what we focus on which leads to different lifestyles and behaviors. In this episode I describe three errors that we all make with focusing and how to adjust them to continue becoming the best version of ourselves. On Facebook search #stickynoteSundays to see the amazing Valentine's day love I spread to many others, and I hope you feel loved too.
Giving the best of yourself to those who don't return the feelings, is one of the easiest ways to burn yourself out. Friendships, relationships, and even brief connections with strangers all can and should be mutual. In this episode I talk about the 4 necessary aspects of mutual connections with the hopes of helping you make new amazing connections everywhere you go. You deserve love and to be heard so focus on the connections that help you feel that way.
Chaos might mean many things to many people, but it isn't necessarily bad. It involves means change. Change to your plans and change to your future, and change is essential for growth. So let's use these two strategies in this help to embrace chaos and continue our growth.
I love getting to quote one of my favorite movies while talking about mental health! Hopefully this episode helps you see the beauty and positives all around you. Focusing on the random good moments in your day will go much farther than you will realize. So whether it's a twinkie or something random that makes you smile, just be sure to enjoy it as much as possible.
Living with intent involves making every thought and action you do a deliberate action with purpose and a goal in mind. Without a realistic and motivating goal to work towards, you will find yourself on autopilot and just not making any progress in life. This episode will help you learn to make productive decisions with your time and energy and show you the ways that practice makes perfect. You can do this!
Welcome to the final part and main focus of my 2021 intro trilogy! One of the most effective way of thinking is to 'control what you can control' and realize that the past and future are out of your control. This episode is all about the benefits of being present-minded and how to begin practicing mindfulness.
For more on mindfulness as a strategy towards becoming present-minded, check out my earlier episode about mindfulness.
This is part 2 of my present-minded trilogy and dedicated to having hope for the future. More than that though, it's about creating realistic hope that we can achieve and begin taking the steps towards that future. Creating a hopeful future begins in the present moment.
This episode is a special summary of my past 32 episodes condensed in one episode to help you all start 2021 with as much emotional intelligence as possible! You have so much power and control over your life and the quicker you realize that, the quicker you can make your life full of love and happiness. This is the first part of a trilogy which involves; learning from the past, hoping for the future, but living in the now.
You may feel like you have no control over your thoughts, but by choosing where you put your focus you can begin to alter your mindset. As with many other episode topics, the power and the choice is in your hands. So I hope this episode finds you before the new year so we can all begin to improve our mindsets to have a great year.
Thought provoking questions are the most effective way to create meaningful and memorable conversations. In addition to that, asking ourselves these same deep questions takes us on a journey of self discovery. The tough questions, like "Are you happy?" and so important to ask ourselves and one another because the answer is so important.
Souvenirs are strong connections to past memories and with this episode I hope to help show the importance of what memories we attach to gifts we give and recieve. Mental souvenirs are simply objects that you attach loving thoughts to, like a rock collection that was from my grandma. It becomes so much more than just a thing, it becomes a token of love and proof that somebody cares about me. These types of gifts are the ones worth sharing this Christmas, so find ways to show those in your life that you love them.
As I've continued to improve my stickynoteSundays, I've been realizing the power of written messages to ourselves and the power of self-promises. The beauty of this resource for growth is that it is so customizable and beneficial whether you want to improve your mind body or both. When designing your own contract of self-growth, you are moving forward with a newfound strength and determination that is much more effective than just hopes in your mind. I will print out my contract and place it as my phone home screen for a bit but you can do it however. The only limit is your imagination!
Empathy is one of my strongest character traits and it's one of the biggest messages I want to spread to everyone, mindfulness being the first. Though even if you struggle with your own happiness, having empathy for other people is one of the most meaningful and fulfilling things you could do. The more people that choose empathy and spread love and happiness, then the less negativity and depression we will all suffer from. Empathy is the social glue that can bring us all together with love and understanding.
This episode is all about perception, which is our individual way of viewing the world. All of our perceptions can be quite different, but with a narrow-minded perception then there is so much of life we are missing out on. So hopefully you perceive the message I'm trying to share with this episode and as always, I love you all.
Bardi has led a very interesting and inspiring life and I'm grateful to have had him as a guest on this episode. We both feel so strongly about mental health and especially the fact that we need to mentally and physically improve ourselves before it becomes too late. He is currently writing his own healthy lifestyles book and making the commitment to helping others with his life.

Anxiety is one of the invisible epidemics that affect a large percentage of our population, especially in kids younger and younger each year. Without gaining a further understanding of our different aspects of anxiety our mental health will continue to suffer, so this episode is for all the people wanting to control their thoughts instead of letting their thoughts control them.
We often wait too long to appreciate the things that should truly matter to us so this episode to to help inspire you to live a fulfilling life being grateful for what you do have. Instead of always feeling negative about the things you wish you had, spend that time appreciating what you do have in your life.
Many people feel annoyed by the concept of spreading positivity and being told to just think happy thoughts. In this episode I'll discuss the difference between these two and why optimism is a more desirable goal to aim for.
Lucky episode #7 of season 2 is all about how I answer the same question I asked my season 2 guests: How do I turn the bad vibes of the world into good vibes in my life? I did a lot of deep thinking for this episode after being influenced by my amazing guests and I believe this episode really has the power to help you improve your mindsets and your lives.
Suzanne DeFelice, my mom's mom, was one of the most loving and selfless people I have had the pleasure of knowing. Although she passed away before I ever thought of starting a podcast, her spirit and her guidance is with me daily so I wanted to make this episode about her. In a world full of negativity, it is my hope that my grandma's love and empathy will be able to positively affect anyone that listens. Thank you so much for listening and we will resume new episodes every Monday

Vivica Valle discusses her struggles and how important it is to not self-identify with your problems in life. Our first thoughts may be about giving up and giving in, but our second thought is where our willpower comes in. Will you give in and self-identify with your obstacles or will you improve your mindset?
Check out Vivica at her website her and be ready for her own podcast coming later

Life is too short to spend with people that just make us feel 'okay' and sometimes maybe help us smile. We deserve true and genuine connections in life and that's where soul siblings come in! Tune in to a very interesting episode that hopefully helps you see friendships in a new way.
I live near Lake Michigan and after walking up and down the beach I was inspired to record an episode for you to hear the waves. This episode comes from the heart and hopefully conveys the depths of my love for you, so please enjoy some waves and some love.
Not only is this episode about one of my favorite shows, it's also about what it means to be a hero in the real world. I also describe the difference between hero syndrome and hero complex and how it can be a gift to have a hero syndrome. I want to save people with a smile and that motivates me every day.
We all have different degrees of selfish/selfless thoughts inside us so this episode is about trying to find a healthy balance. Being overly selfless leads to self-neglect and you sacrifice too much of yourself. Being overly selfish leads to self-entitlement and you ignore other peoples' feelings. Have a great week everyone.
This episode is directly aimed at those who may feel lost to their sadness and can't figure out their depression. As a person that struggled for years, I make this podcast for you. For whoever needs some extra good vibes in their life so please help me spread this episode to those sad souls and together let's save as many people as possible.

Hello wonderful people! This episode was so fun to make because I was camping this weekend and got to spend time with some amazing compassionate friends of the family. This episode focuses on my compassionate late grandma and how I've successfully trained my brain to be more optimistic. My weekend was full of only good vibes so it is my pleasure to pass on these good vibes to you, because afterall good vibes are imminent.
After weeks of learning and wanting to understand the perspectives of others I decided to get together and record this episode with two close friends about a range of topics that we've all learned together. We hope people can learn with us as we continue to learn and grow each day.
This is where i dive more into explaining myself and parts of how I became who I am today. I plan to release a podcast episode weekly so stay tuned and always remember that Good Vibes are Imminent.
This second episode includes why the term good vibes caught my interest and why i believe they are imminent. Also I will discuss a good vibes experiment I started years ago and still intend to complete. Any feedback would be appreciated.
