What does it look like to walk with Jesus in everyday life, pursue God-given dreams, and lead people through love rather than insecurity? In this episode of Talks with Gallagher, John Gallagher sits down with Mercy Parnell—writer, missionary, and ministry assistant to Audrey Mack of GoTell Ministries. Mercy shares her powerful origin story with God, including the encounter that made faith personal to her as a teenager. Raised in a family of 12, Mercy reflects on unity amid differences, authentic community, and what family taught her about the body of Christ. She also shares how being encouraged as an underdog shaped her passion for “loving people into leadership”—seeing potential in others, being present, and helping people grow in confidence and identity. Mercy opens up about her move from Colorado to Jacksonville, Florida, the unexpected path that led her to serve Audrey Mack, and how she held onto faith when sickness, financial pressure, and practical obstacles tried to derail the journey. The conversation also explores international ministry, the hunger for God she has witnessed around the world, and how believers can cultivate a deeper daily relationship with Jesus.

What completing a 32-mile Spartan Ultra race at age 50 taught him about mental toughness, leadership, and carrying others through hard seasons. The direct connection between physical discipline, neuroscience, and leadership energy—why the best leaders are the best storytellers—and what Simon Sinek told him at a Cisco leadership event—The one question from Think and Grow Rich that completely rewired his sense of purpose—How to get unstuck in your career, business, or life: why your WHY always matters more than your HOW—What's coming next—including his 5th book releasing this summer. In this episode of Talks with Gallagher, I’m joined by Earl Terrell for a powerful conversation on intercession, prayer, spiritual discernment, and the Issachar anointing.
Earl shares his personal testimony, how he went from a cessationist background to encountering the voice of God, and why believers must respond with prayer in this hour.
We also talk about praying in tongues, corporate intercession, understanding the times and seasons, and how the Church can walk in wisdom, surrender, and supernatural rest while navigating intense cultural and spiritual pressure.
If you’ve been wanting to grow in prayer, better understand prophetic intercession, or learn what it means to carry an Issachar-type burden in this generation, this episode will encourage and challenge you.

What if understanding how your brain works could help you partner with God for deep emotional and spiritual healing? In this episode, licensed therapist and author Tina Smith unpacks her book Renewing Our Minds in Love and shows how neuroscience, attachment, and Scripture all fit together in God’s design for wholeness. Tina and John talk about what trauma actually is (and isn’t), why attachment and early relationships matter so much, how triggers work in the brain and nervous system, and why many believers feel condemned or “stuck” even while trying to renew their minds. She also explains the “hand model” of the brain, how love literally rewires neural pathways, and why over-spiritualizing mental illness has quietly hurt people in the church. They dive into practical tools for:* Navigating family dynamics and toxic environments (especially around the holidays) * Setting boundaries without burning bridges * Having hard conversations without labels, name-calling, or shutdown * Leading in church and ministry with curiosity instead of quick fixes * Integrating therapy, inner healing, and deliverance in healthy, balanced ways
If you’ve ever wondered why you react the way you do—or why change feels so slow despite prayer and Scripture—this conversation will help you see your story, your brain, and your healing through a much kinder, more hopeful lens. What’s the difference between the anointing and the glory—and why does it matter right now? In this rich, story-filled conversation, Rev. Dr. Theresa Phillips joins John to unpack the three realms (salvation, anointing, glory), how the third-day glory realm works, and why the Lord is bringing a loving but firm course-correction to the prophetic movement.

You’ll hear stories from her bake-stand outreach, Be a Hero to a Hero (stockings for medically confined veterans), the birth of her Redeem and Renew skin care line from a glory encounter, and practical ways to cultivate a lifestyle that attracts heaven’s atmosphere—starting with a fresh relationship with the Word and Revelation 21.

What would it take to gather men across Germany for a Mighty Men Conference in Nuremberg—the very ground once used to platform the Third Reich—and redeem that space for the Kingdom? In this episode, Mark Ian Brislin shares the remarkable string of confirmations that led him to invite Angus Buchan, why Nuremberg matters symbolically, how East Germany’s history still shapes the church today, and the practical next steps (venues, teams, and intercessors) to make it happen. We also talk about forming men as king, priest, and prophet in the home and the hopeful signs of renewal already emerging.
Key takeaways
* Why Nuremberg is a prophetic venue for a men’s gathering and national repentance/renewal
* The “three confirmations” that sparked the invitation to Angus Buchan
* East Germany’s cultural backdrop (Nazism → Communism → rationalism) and what it means for discipleship today
* A simple blueprint to raise men as king, priest, and prophet in their homes
* How to pray: venue, organizing team, regional unity (Germany, Czech Republic, Ukraine)

In this power-packed episode, John sits down with Christa Elisha to unpack her book Born for Battle—a field guide for strategic spiritual warfare and bloodline deliverance. We dive into Jesus’ supernatural worldview, why deliverance still matters, the hidden mechanics of Freemasonry oaths, “quantum” agreements of thought and speech, the Python spirit in pop culture, and how to identify and break family-line patterns that keep believers stuck. Practical, direct, and deeply hope-filled.
Key takeaways
* Deliverance isn’t fringe—it’s essential discipleship and part of the Gospel’s power.
* Agreements (spoken or rehearsed in thought) can create legal footholds—truth and repentance break them.
* Freemasonry rites mirror specific spiritual bondages that often manifest in families until renounced.
* Look for repeating bloodline patterns (health, finance, relationships, premature death) and confront them with targeted prayer and deliverance.
* Reform is shifting many toward table-centric, discipleship-first “new wineskin” expressions of church.

Transformational strategist April Michelle Ball unpacks how to diagnose stagnation, redesign culture, and build ecosystems that actually scale. We cover the difference between “systems” and the frameworks that shape them, why frustration is a signal your framework is off, and how to lead multi-generational teams (Boomers ↔ Gen Z) with emotional intelligence, resilience, and confidence.
