It's the summer solstice. For so long, we've been so afraid of the dark, but thanks to Ari Aster, writer and director of the 2019 mystery horror, Midsommar, we learn to embrace fear in the light.
(Cue Regis Philbin voice) No lifelines left. Last question for one million dollars. What is liftoach pandemonium? Is it (A) a bacteria commonly found in the moldy crevice of a public toilet, (B) a Hebrew slang phrase for a “severe case of chlamydia”, or (C) a satanic incantation featured in Ari Aster’s masterful debut feature Hereditary.
Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is not your typical Marvel flick; nor your typical Spider-Man flick. With a fresh and original soundtrack, and an even fresher and... originaler... plot, this one's definitely one to watch, if not for the animation alone.
Joe's buzzword seems to be "dedication" in this one, while Nicola's is "phenomenal". See if you can count how many times they say them!
