The Rifts episode of Geeky Voices Carry. In this episode we talk about Palladium Games, the Rifts RPG and our upcoming Rift campaign. We are all excited to be starting our campaign in another week. While David has played Rifts before, back in the 90s, and I've run other Palladium Games, Josh and Stacy have never played the game, or encountered the love (and hate!) for the system that is out there. True, we have some issues with the book's presentation but the system itself has us excited to play.

This is our "BIG MEDIA" episode, where we talk about "geeky" properties like comics and genre books being adapted to television and movies. We talk about adaptations that we really liked, and things that we didn't like so much. We also talked about Orson Scott Card and the Ender's Game movie, and how none of us had a problem with boycotting it over Card's heinous opinions.

In the Something Cool segment we talked about the upcoming ConTessa Indie-Go Go campaign, the Tomorrow People TV show and the Corporia Kickstarter.

There are spoilers, foul language and opinions contained herein, so listener be warned.
