David Cypkin was born in Miami, Florida on November 10, 1978. He attended the Florida State School of Motion Picture Television and Recording Arts. He is a longtime collaborator with Alfred Spellman and Billy Corben, who formed rakontur in 2003. He is an editor and producer of most of rakontur's documentaries, including Cocaine Cowboys, The U, Square Grouper, Limelight, The Tanning of America, Dawg Fight, Screwball, and Magic City Hustle.🦩
