At the end of 1 Corinthians 12, Paul tells us to covet the best gifts. In other words, we should desire spiritual gifts so that we can serve God and His people more effectively.
However, the love of God must always come first. Putting spiritual gifts before God is a terrible mistake. The first and foremost priority is to love God. Those who truly love God will naturally desire spiritual gifts because these gifts are given for the enrichment and strengthening of His church.
The Gift of the Word of Wisdom
In 1 Corinthians 12:8–10, Paul identifies three gifts that are often described as the revelation gifts: the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, and the discerning of spirits.
The word of wisdom is the first of these three gifts mentioned. It provides divine insight and wisdom for a particular situation or need. These gifts are not given for personal glory; they are given to help build up, strengthen, and serve the body of Christ.

Key takeaway: My goal is to help you leave encouraged and filled with hope by developing a positive perspective. When moments of testing or temptation arise, allow the faith of Jesus to work through your hope. The faith we have in Jesus will ultimately reveal itself as the faith of Jesus in our character.
Our actions are the visible expression of what we truly believe and hope for. We are transformed from the inside out. As our character is being shaped, what's rooted in our heart will always manifest in our behavior. --Selah: pause and think about that!

In great trials of affliction the people of Corinth took up a concern for the Jerusalem church: IICorithian chapter 1 explains their ability to give; verse 2 in great trials their ability to do more grew because of their suffer (more than anything, they were willing, which is key).
Titus spearheaded this collection for the church going through persecution. Paul extends the grace of giving by urging the Corinthian church to continue that effort. He recognized the qualities of their character: the faith they showed, the speaking ability, and their possessions; they had a unique way of reasoning and acting accordingly.

Exodus 33:1 Moses moving forward with a hard task to lead a rebellious and disobedient people.
Moses contending for his faith; he wrestled and fleeced God to confirm ownership of his decision to go up from their Current position. He cried out for more grace for clarity (when Zion travailed she brought forth fruit, Isaiah 66:8 says).

America’s Founding Fathers built this nation on strong Christian principles. Let’s continue praying that our leaders seek God’s wisdom and uphold those foundations with integrity and faith.
Also, in lieu of the recent tragedies remind us how vital our responses are when it dealing with other people. The shooting of a 41-year-old woman by a 22-year-old female simply because she said to the young woman, "you could say thank you..." her comments caused her to lose her life! Two days prior to this, an Uber driver and a teen—show how quickly anger can turn deadly. People are on edge like never before.
We must model respect, patience, and godly self-control. Our response shapes the outcome. God help us to reflect Christ in every situation.

From the archives of Inspirational Corner Radio Broadcast, the focus is on the Year of Jubilee. 2025 Is named after this historical event in a effort to restore hope in a troubled world. Please note, the Jewish Jubilee calendar took place in 2017.
This year, the Pope called for 2025 to be a season of Jubilee for Pilgrims; we are all pilgrims on earth, this place is not our home!
We are joining our faith together to believe God for restoration, release, and repentance.

Exercise your power, renounce everything that doesn't line up with the word of God. If something isn't helping you reach your goal, remove it immediately; only embrace people and things that are moving in the same direction---even if there is a different perspective but a common interest.

Paul had to deal with the state of mind of his rejection based on an erroneous truth. We all have the ministry of reconciliation, however there will be disruptions along the way, as demonstrated by Paul who labored tirelessly to model reconciliation.
When you hit seasons of fasting, struggle, and waiting when things aren't always comfortable; he says, there will be attacks. Paul advised keeping your eyes on the prize. Long suffering and kindness isn't easy: take the sword of God in one had and the shield of faith in the other as you stand your ground!

These people are coming with their beliefs, convictions and false Gods. Yet, Americans must remain balanced in their thinking. And be hospitable. Leviticus 19:33-34 in the Bible says, "When a stranger dwells with you in your land, you shall not mistreat him.

Notice, there is a change of mind after Moses communicated with God concerning the presence of God being in the mist. He wanted proof of Grace in Gods sight. In Ex. 33:14 "....my presence will go with you and I will give you rest."

Leviticus 25:8-10
10 Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each of you is to return to your family property and to your own clan.
The word "jubilee" is derived from the Hebrew word jobel, which means "ram's horn"; since it was precisely that horn which was used as a trumpet, whose sound indicated to everybody the beginning of the jubilee year.
The jubilee is an event of great spiritual, social and ecclesial significance, an important time when God's people ask to experience God's forgiveness and mercy. Jubilees throughout Church history have marked, like milestones, the ecclesial journey.

Paul is talking about things that he went through as being apart of the advancement of the Corinthian Church. In. verse 11 for we which live are always delivered for Jesus sake that the life of Jesus would be manifested in their body.
The relevance of this text: God will use you but not always on your terms; they were not to be Seen as defeated by the distraction striving against them. Many times when we go through things we tend to think why me? Stop and think, the suffering is designed to cause you to lean on Jesus.
Selfish ambitions will fall off and the light of Jesus Christ will shine through. You will come to realize God is working his perfect will into the situation. Move out of the way, surrender you will so that God's perfect glory can manifest and bring glory back to himself.

This subject cannot be exhausted. The longer you live the more opportunities you'll have to practice forgiveness. This gift is cultivated.
The aim in this lesson is to help establish an attitude of forgiveness. Searching of the heart to restore fellowship immediately without excuses.
Paul, in IICori. 1:23, he is determined to not come in heaviness. He is establishing his desire to not deal harshly about the situation concerning the brother who sinned with his fathers wife. Once a person shows deep repentance over a deed done, we need to be quick to forgive (it will take practice).
If forgiveness is withheld from one who is clearly repented of his wrong, we leave him to be over come with grief and never recover.

Your soul has worth, if you want to keep selling yourself short go ahead, if you want to accept what people say your worth go ahead.....what is your soul worth? If you evaluate the worth of your soul from the world's perspective you limit your true value.
Jesus talked to us about the soul. When God created you he created you a soul.
Today, Dr. Cindy Trimm shines. the spotlight on Soul Ties. What is the Soul? The soul is your substance: Your mind, will and emotions; the seat of your intelligence, reason and consciousness. Scriptures for those seeking salvation. Study the following verses to expand your knowledge: The Name Isa. 7:13-14, Acts 4:10-12, First John 4:9-21.
Perfect Love: First John 4:9-21 When the Spirit of Christ does come, he will give you the power to love. Jesus set the standard. Through Faith in his name we receive healing and wholeness.
Steps to being saved. Hear the gospel, Believe, Repent, Be Baptized and Filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. In Rom. 5:8, God commended his love towards us that while we were sinners Christ died. Acts 17:30 at the time of ignorance God winked at sin (the time is coming when he will no longer wink!)
Believing for salvation. Eph. 4:4 one body, one spirit, and one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism.... The belief must start in your heart first, then you repent.
Act 2:38 repent and be baptized for the remission of sin. Repentance means turn and go in the opposite direction.
Be baptized. Romans 6:3, is a symbolic act of the death burial and resurrection. This is how you identify with his death and resurrection from the dead.
Receive the Holy Ghost. Acts 19:2-6, Verse 2. Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed? Verse 6, When Paul laid his hands on them the Holy Ghost came on them.

What does it mean when God doesn't answer? God's silence doesn't mean he is answering our prayers. In this lesson, we see the experience Mary had in the early stages of losing her brother Lazarus. She later learned that delay was not denial but for the glory of God. Verse 6. He heard, and didn't respond the first time she cried. He deliberately waited two more days.
Three takeaways. Be mindful of the process while listening to the details, Know that the glory of God is the objective behind delay, and thirdly, if you are going through something, know that God loves you and will get the glory out of the situation.

Jesus majored in healing, preaching and teaching. His main purpose for redemption is restoration. He cam to give life and life more abundantly. Healing is the children's bread.
Fight back! Contend for the faith. The kingdom of God suffers violence, but the violent take it by force. Get ugly in prayer if you must, at all cost stand your ground.
Those spirits are stubborn. Becoming radial is all satan understand! The moment you put your foot down, stand on the word (speaking it out of your mouth) the victory will manifest. Mastering temptation is a topic that cannot be exhausted. The end goal is worth every sacrifice. The crown of life comes through purity. Matt. 4:2, Jesus would have forfeited his victory over the devil had he not demonstrated the authority of the word.
The objective of trickery is moral failure, disgrace, and shame. He offered Jesus the kingdoms of this world saying, all these things I will give you; deception of other things creep in to choke the spirit so that you cannot do the things that you would, the bible says.
The promises of this world are temporal. Exercise your victory over temptation using the tools taught in this lesson.

First Cori. 6:12-20 Worshiping God begins with your body. He said, "What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in your, which you have of God, and you are not your own?
Awesome revelation! Many people fail to recognize the body temple belongs to God--It's not yours; The food choices should glorify God, in First Corinthians 10:31-33 it says, "whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God......"
You have to be intentional and a planner. Making a lifestyle change will take time and practice. But if you will continue and don't give up, the victory will be your and glorifying God with your body will become a new normal.
In lieu of the recent comparison and contrast of Juneteenth to the Fourth of July, this topic on forgiveness is most operate. The question is, can we heal? Can race relations ever find a common ground?

We are continuing with a brief review of part 1. When you hit temptation do three things: look ahead, look within, and look around. In James, it says when a man has endured temptation he shall receive the crown of life. Second, look within and make sure the temptation isn't coming from you. Thirdly, look around, For example, Jesus defeated the adversary by saying, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God.
Matt. 4:8 we see the next temptation which is world dominion: "all these things will I give unto you if you would bow down and worship him." Jesus demonstrated the second temptation by looking around and confirming the word within him. The crown of life is will be stolen had Jesus yielded to his enticement.
In Deut. 13:16 we can read about the good life that had been promised. Fear in this text is a reverential fear. A healthy wholesome fear of God. Isa. 42:8 says I am the Lord that is my name and my glory I will not give to another, nor my praise to a graven image.

Three things in this message: Remember to look ahead, look within, and look around. This message will unfold practical applications for these three tools. We are beginning with the crown of life which is about striving. A crown is an ornament that covers the head--it will make you look good. Jesus demonstrated in Matthews 4:6 how to maintain faith in God's word.
When we counter the devil's offer with the word it looks good, it looks better than complaining or losing faith in the midst of difficulty. Deal with temptation thru careful examination of everything involved. Matt. 4:8. The world is full of enticement to cause a distraction and overthrow your faith. For example, the devil said, if you be the son of God make these stones become bread.

Isa. 56, and Jere. 7. Last week we covered the history behind Mark 15:17. Also, Luke 19:45-48 and John 52. The prophecy led them to foresee the future.
How ironic, that same junky practice of that day is still happening today with the exception of bringing idolatry into God's house.
Solomon said there is nothing new under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 1:9). This failure continued to repeat throughout generations. The prophet says it's better to be about pleasing God and taking up a different lifestyle. Jere. 6 if you oppress not the stranger, fatherless and widows and shed blood, then will I cause you to prosper. Woe, money had these people acting like fools.
When it comes to souls nothing should impede that; the people had become so money-minded that they lost the presence of God and his original purpose which was to save souls.

The subject is the Cleansing of the Temple. In Mark 11:16-17, Jesus turned over the table of the money changers. Let's look behind the scene to understand the anger behind his anger. His aim was to level the playing ground so that all could access the temple without hindrance.
He taught saying, "....my house shall be called the house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves..." Note, the intention is to establish the house of prayer for all nations. Isa. 56:6 saw the event and spoke about the people being bought to the house of worship....he knew the Jews and the gentiles would have equal access to God; at one time this wasn't allowed, and non-Jews had no fellowship with other nations.
Jere. 7:9-11 verse, 9 will you steal, murder, commit adultery and burn incense unto bail and come stand before me saying, we are delivered to do all things. The leaders were dual and hypocritical--using the temple to cover their sins--they began to authorize selling in the outer courts: the area designated for the non-Jews to have a place to worship and bring sacrifices.
The custom hyped up the cost of the exchange rate for the non-Jews. It was tax time and souls were being blocked from getting to God because of all. the bartering and hustling that filled the atmosphere.

IICorithians ch. 2:22 Paul is addressing an issue that occurred among the believers. Paul isn't trying to Lord it over them, but rather to help their faith to be in joy. He wanted the church to make him proud. The punishment for this offense was worthy of the punishment being imposed. This sin can be read about in IICori. 5 or ICori. 5.
Wow, this is big time! Forgiving isn't easy when the offense is this grievous. Scholars believe this man took his fathers' wife. Yuck, Yuck, Yuck. Can you imagine, this was his stepmother. OMG!
The aim is to see in the text the need for forgiveness. We will learn to apply this principle. Paul is dealing with the Corinthian church about a brother who had offended the body of Christ through sexual sin. The warning is against unforgiveness least this brother, who committed this great offense would be overtaken in grief and never receive restoration.
The offense is really done to God. It would be to their advantage to confirm love towards him. God has forgiven this man of his sins. The trap here is set by satan to get the advantage over the believer.

In First Thess. 5:3 the hope of salvation is associated with the hamlet the only piece of amour designed to protect the head area. All hope will be lost if you lose focus by not keeping your head protected. The nine pieces of armor are the attitude of the believer. The sword of the Spirit is the part of the amour that is active; this is the offensive weapon; the other pieces are the defensive armor.
Paul said the word is always first--prayer is at the bottom of the list--prayerlessness is easy to fall into (compliancy doesn't take much effort). Paul said: I have labored in prayer until I have traveled you into birth. Prayer is where you give birth to desires by using your own faith.
Authority is undergirded by faith. The stentorian said: I too am a man under authority (Matt. 8:9-11). You have to be under authority to have authority. Meaning, you must be lined up properly and in agreement with your leader before you can go forth representing using their name or the name of their organization. Hopefully this verse will help all who struggle with coming under authority. Many people are struggling trying to make it on their own, and it's not working because God has a divine order that must be followed. Jesus had respect unto the Centurion because of his belief and understanding of authority. Matt. 10 - 13. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Scriptures for review:
Eph. 6:10
Luke 10:19
Eph. 1:20; Eph. 2:1 events that took place when Christ was raised, we were raised. When he sat down, we sat down.
The armor in this study of Spiritural Authority are symbols of the human attitude. The authority that we walk in is no greater then the power standing behind us; we have support, no longer should we lean on others. A simple attitude adjustment will serve as a catalyst to launch out on your own faith. Paul prayed for boldness to speak the word, he put his faith in the spirit of faith within.
Building faith requires repetition. The word will make you look good as soon as you embrace faith and actively obey. Jesus became our righteous. Start walking in the dominion he secured for you on the cross. Preparation is everything. His feet was covered with preparation. Meaning, when you walk you won't stumble. The shield of faith is to cover the body and head for safety under the blood of Jesus. When you apply the blood to every situation, know that you are protected.

He is the God that heals you, but a heart to cooperate will extend your days. Being strong in the power of his might will come from practice; this is a shared engagement, Luke 10:19 "I give unto you authority." In first John 4:4 it says, you are of God and have overcome them. The authority is no greater than the force that is behind the authority--we are co-laborers with Christ.
We are one with God. Eph. 1:22 it says, "....and have set him at his own right hand...." when Christ was raised from the dead, we were raised as well; when he set down with the father, we sat down with him.

The subject and focus: A Sanctified Life. In this lesson, we will cover manifestation and dedication. The goal is to teach those who act like God how to win at living life by a higher standard. We must walk it out, we gotta live this thing, then the Holy Ghost will have a clean vessel to demonstrate his power through. Now, please know that there will be blunders along the way, this flesh is stubborn about having control.
You will need faith. Ask God to give you the faith to walkout his truths (flesh can't do this).
Hold on to hope as it is the foundation by which the evidence of your hope can be manifested. Faith will keep you through temptations, test and trials that come to cause failure.

There are four parts to cultivating a successful Christian lifestyle. In this study we will cover consecration, dedication, demonstration and manifestation. Keep in mind, when we enter into agreement our efforts become very intentional as we journey forward to create change and transformation within. The goal is not to uphold a bunch of rules, rather it's to bring renewal and rebirthing of the soul.
Starting with consecration: to induct (a person) into a permanent office with a religious rite. For example, the ordaining of a minister, etc.: to make or declare sacred especially for Bishops and church leaders. But for the lay person, we set ourselves aside for God's use on our level. Jesus, the Ambassador, demonstrated how he wanted heaven to be on earth. He taught believers who acted like God how to build relationships successfully.
Let's go now to the lesson that is already in progress.

*In the gospel we studied the paused man. Three questions are: which is easier to say, your sins be forgiven? What ways can believers speak forgiveness. And what conclusions can be drawn from the healing of the paused man. Colossians 3:12:13 long suffering is a fruit we cultivate if results are to be experienced.
Isa. 43:25-26 "....put me in remembrance, let us plead together that you maybe justified." Sinners are given a blot as well as believing Christians. When something is blotted out the evidence of error was as if it never existed. Jere. 31:33 this will be the covenant I will make with the house of Isreal.....I will put my laws in their heart and they shall be my people.....I will forgive their iniquity and will remember their iniquity no more.
Luke 7, the story of the harlot whose sins were forgiven because she loved much. Love caused her to receive forgiveness of sin--her faith saved her--faith is never seen apart from the things that we do. James 2:18 says, Yea, a man say, you have faith, and I have works: show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.*
A woman scorned is never, ever a good situation, but a false statement changes everything. Deut.22:13, if a man brings up an evil report upon upon an innocent woman, proof would be given to cover the innocent. The person caught bring shame on an innocent would be chastised. Verse 19....things have really changed because our laws do not uphold the sanity of marriage like in the past. This study covers all the biblical solutions to infidelity.

The thought from last week continue to build on the foundation that was laid.
In this episode, we will learn about the dangers of reasoning away God's word. There is great consequence attached to compromise; making God's word final authority is critical, this doesn't mean if you fall short you can't recover, however, you will have to fight a lot hard to overcome obstacles from making wrong choices. Friends, it's hard to walk the Streight and narrow but the reward is worth the fight--your flesh will fight and scream to have it way--don't give in. Side in with God and believe him for strength on the inner man by his spirit. Eph. 3:16.

Rebuilding the walls is the subject of this discussion. Nehemiah is deliberately distracted by trickery sent from leadership in a high position. On my journey through life, I have discovered the mentality hasn't changed much; there is something about moving forward in your purpose that will attract naysayers, as we see in the study of rebuilding the walls.
Whatever you do resist fear. This topic will run in two parts. Visit the YouTube Chanel for more messages.

In this lesson, we will see the benefits of humbling ourselves. Cast all your cares upon him for he cares for you. Since God has done all the caring for me, why should I bother carrying something that he has already done for me? Romans 1, there is no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus....for the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus can make you free. The truth will take away the worry and give you the liberty needed after simply making a quality decision to follow Jesus. Put your foot down and declare, "I will be free in Christ Jesus." First Peter 5:6-7 says, humble yourself under the mighty hand of God that you may be exalted in due time. Psalms 55:2, and verse 22 cast your burden upon the Lord and he shall sustain you; he will not suffer you to be removed. Listen now to the program already in progress.
The subject is facing oposition with faith and not dismay.
Jesus had to depart in order for the helper to come and help us to better benefit. Had Jesus remained in his body his ability would have remained limited. Jesus left us the Holy Ghost so that we could make efficient use of his grace. Because the people didn't believe him his ability to perform was hindered. Nevertheless, perservance will always out last persecution. IPeter 5:8, be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the devil has accomplished in your brother in the world. Unbelievers go through the same persuction. Read John 13:2 in your own time. We are to draw from the deep wells of the Holy Spirit into our spirit. Face your opposition through faith.
