Did you know that YOU are not in control? As much as we want to be.. we are not. But good news, we have a God that IS in control and He has your BEST in mind! Will you seek Him and let Him?
There's a beauty about people who love to serve and help just because they love using the gifts they are given. What about you? Do you help others with the things you are naturally good at and LIKE to do or are you too busy to let that happen? Have you put your gifts and talents on the back burner?
How often do you talk talk talk to God and wonder why He doesn't seem to answer? Do you ever stop to think, maybe you're not taking the time to listen?
We struggle with this too but we are learning when we stop to listen for God, He desires to answer in amazing ways.
Do you make the most of every opportunity you are given?
The Israelites could have made it to the Promise Land in 11 days but instead it took them over 40 years. Do you think God is more interested in the journey than getting there soon?
God is preparing you for what He has Prepared for you.

Investing in Others
Encouraging Others
Equipping Others
How will you use the gifts and talents you've been given to invest in others and to encourage others?
Just some real talk about ending one season, beginning a new one, finding rest and strength even when we are weak. Actually, ESPECIALLY when we are weak.
In our typical fashion, we share some truths amidst laughs and realness!
Where does time go? This month is flying by so we re-cap you on our lives, what we are learning through the chaos and mess of life, and reminders you can take with you along your own journey!
Get an inside look at our marriage, family, the way our brains think (and how different men and women are)!
We set out to do the next parenting chapter chat but developed into this! One of our favorites -- hope you can take something from our 'real talk' and be encouraged and learn from it!! That's honestly how we grow and learn the best!
Let's have some Real Talk!
Based on the book by Andy & Sandra Stanley, Parenting: Getting IT Right.
We dive into the early stages and the four levels of stages of parenting and really focusing on what it looks like to discipline, train, and coach our kids whether it's our ACTUAL kids or in the classroom, sports team, church, etc! (or even dealing with adults as well!)
Discipline (ages 0-5)
Training (ages 5-12)
Coaching (ages 12-18)
Friendship (18+)
Based on the Parenting: Getting It Right book by Andy & Sandra Stanley, we dive into the question they focus on in Chapter 1, Did we get IT right? What is the goal with our parenting and what mistakes do we make along the way?!
We are definitely NOT perfect when it comes to parenting but that's why we seek help and read books about it and we want to share any wisdom we take from it along the way!
Highly recommend getting their book and reading it along with us as we dive into each chapter each week!

Maybe it's a time to re-prioritize some of the things you do. Do you make the MOST of the time you have in the car, at the events, in the in-between times or should you say no for this season so you can focus on what TRULY matters (your family and marriage)!
