I used to be well-known for my 4-hour work day message but you may have noticed I have not talked about it much at all in recent times. This is something that has been intentional on my part and in this episode I share why.

From the very start of my business journey I was told a very "important" sales rule.
Have you heard it too? "You can ONLY sell one thing at a time"
In fact, I had a coach tell me I should only EVER sell one thing. One offer. Make a million dollars doing that, then you can add more.
And I followed this rule for a long time.
But it's time to rebel against all these rules. And I'm selling all the things I'm feeling called to, when it feels right.

There is this toxic belief circulating in our online world - you have to be positive and high vibe and make money.
And I bought into this for a looooong time.
So when things went wrong in my business, I thought it meant something about ME - it was my crappy energy, my negative energy, my blocks, my non-magnetic energy so OF COURSE I couldn't make money.
And it's like this self-fulfilling cycle. I believed I couldn't make money unless I was at my peak, happiest, most positive self.

Every new income level I’ve hit required a calibration - a shift to align energetically to the new income goal.
The $10k, the $20k, the $30k, the $40k - each new level required an attunement.
And it was way beyond some affirmations or a surface level mantra (aka “I have decided and it’s mine”.)

I played with the idea of having a ‘business’ for so long. I had one foot in the door, and one out. I knew what my back-up plan was. I played with the things that didn’t matter, I didn’t show up or serve my people consistently.
And guess what I got for it? Nothing!
And I could have told myself that I was never going to be successful, it wasn’t going to work for me, I’ll just go back to my day job.
But I didn’t. I decided to go all in. I decided my success was inevitable and this was the only way forward. I made double in that month what I’d made for the entire previous year.

Do the things that scare you.
This is something I believe with my whole heart. For me, the biggest risk is living a safe life. And that has taken me many places, and here to this podcast with you - so welcome!
I started my journey as a lawyer. I did all the ‘right’ things. I got my degree, applied for all the corporate jobs. I sat behind a computer all day. I worked day and night. I thought I was living out that movie dream.
But the reality is it required a mountain of sacrifice in all areas of life. Five years into this journey, I found myself feeling unfulfilled. I wasn’t happy. I wasn’t living the life I KNEW I was capable of living. I was sick of counting down to the weekends and settling for.
This is what everyone does right? Suck it up Milana. You’ll retire in 50 years and then you can enjoy your life.
I wrote in my journal for years about taking a leap into entrepreneurship. To do the scary thing, and make a difference in other people’s lives. But what would my friends and family think? What if I fail?
When my son was born, I was planning my maternity leave, and I knew I had a now-or-never opportunity to make the leap. To at least try. So I did the scary thing.
