Tom has fond memories of watching American Idol when he was younger. The show helped him through depression and it was really important to him. Now, Tom wants to revisit these old feelings and is rewatching old seasons of Idol (American, Canadian, Australian and Pop Idol) and sharing his feelings.
Tom is troubled that he mostly agrees with Paula and not the other two judges. Christina has her showstopping moment while everyone else is just... meh.

This week the contestants performed songs from the 60s. The women are the stars of the show, while the men are less than stellar. We finally have gotten rid of all the dead weight in the competition and the real competition is about to begin.
