An alien ship lands seeking aid, but when its commander emerges and sees Maya, she stuns Maya, putting her in stasis. The ship bears Dorzak, a Psychon refugee who behaved criminally on the commander's planet. Dorzak beguiles Maya about his intent, using extremely well-developed psychic abilities to control others' thoughts.
Harry investigates a drug-smuggling operation based in Denmark and becomes a target when the gang discover his involvement.

They discover the caves abandoned and find Gillygully and Whirly outside, claiming that a monstrous creature has moved into their turf. Brogan's informant Slik Ostrasky is murdered by Tylan Gershom, a smuggler of illegal Xyronite immigrants, and the only witness is slimy Melazoid business executive Armand Loyster. Brogan and Haldane are assigned to offer Loyster protection until he can testify at Gershom's trial. But Gershom plans to ensure that Loyster never reaches the courtroom.

King Dithers decides to brush his hair before his trip to Frutown, and he accidentally leaves his crown behind. After Daffy the Donkey pulls him into town, the king invites Torchy and Squish back to the palace for tea, but they soon discover the crown is not where he left it.
Communications problems at Moonbase are traced to a non-SHADO mining operation.

The Mysterons then speak through the rogue agent, demanding mankind's surrender in twenty-four hours or else they will trigger a world-wide technological failure that will destroy everyone on the planet. With humanity's surrender as the price, how can Spectrum carry on the fight with weapons that do not work?
Masterspy steals the plans for Supercar, but he doesn't keep them for long.

Following the death of an officer from the 79th Precinct in Demeter's most fashionable nightclub, Brogan and Haldane are teamed with Lt. Verro Walker in a search for a serial killer. Walker is a loose cannon, but may hold the key to the killings when Jane discovers similarities with a string of mysterious homicides that took place nearly a hundred years before.

Torchy uses his magic light to find King Dithers and Polliken. They fit the Man in the Moon a pair of sunglasses so he can sleep through the day, and prepare to head to earth. Mr Bumbledrop tells Torchy that Bossy Boots has become a good girl, so the toy-boy decides to reward her with a party in Topsy Turvy Land. However, the girl has remained in bed for a week, pretending to be sick to evade her schoolwork. When Torchy learns of this, he reprimands the wretch and leaves her behind as he and Mr Bumbledrop head for the stars.

According to legend, when the two suns eclipse on planet Bharron, once every thousand years, Lavender Castle can be seen in the desert. Captain Thrice and Walking Stick mount an expedition into the desert, but on the third day, the Captain loses Walking Stick when he falls into a gully. Alone in an endless desert, Thrice finds himself at the mercy of Dr. Agon.
The Alphans fall into the grasp of the despotic Mentor, an alien scientist trying to restore his ravaged world to its former glory. His biological computer requires the energy obtained from living brains to complete his task. When captured, Koenig is offered a choice: surrender the Alphans to a horrifying living death or face complete annihilation. Mentor's daughter Maya, who is a metamorph and from whom Mentor has concealed his actions, may be able to aid the Alphans.
Yung-Star devises a way to make the Cubes more powerful by combining them. Zelda forms a group of them into a gun and threatens to destroy a newly constructed dam. Meanwhile, Tiger finally loses patience with the Zeroids and orders Zero to give them a new, 'standardised voice', but regrets his decision when all the Zeroids speak with the Sergeant Major's voice.
Whilst out in the desert Tex Tucker finds and shelters an Indian boy and is rewarded with four magic feathers by the boy's grandfather. Two of the feathers make his dog (Dusty) and horse (Rocky) speak whilst the last two control Tex's two guns. Tex decides to create a town called Four Feather Falls and the townsfolk make him Sheriff.
Fireball XL5 intercepts a missile launched at Earth. Landing on Planet 46, Zodiac and Venus are captured by the villainous Subterrains – who promptly launch a second missile with Venus on board.
Agent X-2-Zero frees the former dictator El Hudat from the Marineville brig by replacing him with his twin brother.
Following the events of Lunarville 7, Scarlet, Blue and Green return to the Moon to destroy the Mysteron's newly completed base in the Humboldt Sea.
A wealthy widow's daughter is kidnapped and Harry is required to drop off the ransom money.
Chris attempts to broaden the remit of the Randomiser by reviewing an episode of a non-Gerry Anderson series made by someone who used to work for Gerry Anderson and who used this particular episode to pay tribute to his days working on Gerry Anderson shows. The experiment backfired horribly.
Whilst exploring a bizarre asteroid, Koenig is detained and replaced by a double which directs Alpha to direct most of its energy at the asteroid. Some of the crew react negatively at his double's dictatorial behaviour.
Pedro and Fernando plan to rid themselves of the sheriff, by switching his hat with the magic feathers for a normal one.
The Protectors, attempting to guard an Italian senator in Rome, find a blackmailer who has got out of control.
Torchy's rocket arrives in Topsy Turvy Land, and he tries to convince Pom-Pom and the toys to return to Earth, but they decline. Flopsy, the ragdoll, complains about her lack of stuffing, so Torchy convinces Pom-Pom to donate some of her fur.
Kate is taken hostage by Anderburr Records employee "Stew" Dapples, who is under Zelda's control.
Straker and Foster investigate an undersea alien base where SHADO and its personnel have been duplicated.
Dr. Agon proposes an alliance of the Paradox crew’s greatest enemies and summons Short Fred Ledd, the Dank and Colonel Clump to the Dark Station. Each has a story to tell of an encounter with the Paradox crew that has left them with a score to settle.
Samina disappears, Haldane resigns from the force to join the Pyrists and a power struggle amongst the priests leads to a third death at the Temple. Then a witness comes forward who claims that Haldane has murdered Samina, and Podly is forced to issue a warrant for Haldane's arrest as the Pyrists prepare for the Day of Immolation – the end of the world!
Pyrist priest Tendall Kalike dies by spontaneous combustion during a ceremony at the Pyrist Temple and the event is witnessed by Took on her first visit to the Temple as a Seeker. Brogan and Castle search for evidence that points to Kalike's death being homicide and suspicion falls on fellow priest Nevik Brok. Teamed with Podly's daughter Samina, Haldane goes undercover at the Pyrist Temple to discover the truth.
The evil Koodas, lone inhabitant of the planet Zanadu, plots to destroy all Lazoons with a deadly virus. When Zoonie is infected, the XL5 crew must race to obtain the cure.
The Circle Z Ranch is under siege from Morg Fenton and Big Ben, but Tex discovers it is outside his area of jurisdiction and cannot help defend it.
Dr. Beaker saves the day when Mike is forced to help a notorious criminal escape prison.

International Rescue's security is jeopardised when Tin-Tin's close friend Eddie Houseman, who recently visited Tracy Island, takes drastic action to save his road-construction company's threatened contract by planting explosives to tear open a jungle mountainside, and the ensuing chaos leaves him trapped on a cliffside in a truck with another case of explosives on board.
With the help of an observatory in the Himalayas, Spectrum lands a probe on the Martian moon Phobos to perform detailed orbital reconnaissance of the Red Planet.
In September 1999, John Koenig reports to Earth's Space Research Center at Moonbase Alpha as its new commander. A strange sickness is killing some of the Moonbase Alpha crew. Commander Koenig's investigation reveals that the source lies at Nuclear Waste Disposal Area 1 caused by excessive magnetic energy fields. The continuous buildup of energy shortly causes massive explosion clusters that knock the moon off orbit into deep space.
Caroline is hired by an American millionaire who thinks his son, an artist living in Venice, has fallen victim to a con-man.
With the moon's trajectory reported to be shifting due to an unknown cause, the Alphans happen across a roving spaceship run entirely by a computer. Brian the Brain, as he prefers to be called, proves to be a devious device until the truth is uncovered.
Following a recommendation in a brochure, the Paradox crew decide to take a holiday on the planet Brightonia on Sea. But once there, they are captured by Short Fred Ledd who chains them up and steals the Paradox. Without water, their only hope of survival rests with Sir Squeakalot and Isambard’s latest invention, a remote control for the Paradox.

Yung-Star runs away, but he is unknowingly carrying a 'bug' in the form of a powder inside him.

The resident toys are no longer amused with Pilliwig's jokes, which depresses the clown. Torchy and Flopsy decide to picnic on an island, where they discover Ena the hyena. They bring her back to Frutown, where Pilliwig is delighted to meet someone who will always laugh at his antics.
Pteronarcys Eternicum, a rare beetle capable of cell regeneration, is stolen from Dexkor Laboratories. Brogan and Haldane are assigned to the case and suspect that the theft may be an inside job. But Brogan is preoccupied with nailing drugs dealer Amory Wolf whom he believes is responsible for the death of Tommy Murphy, his oldest friend. Meanwhile, Jane and Took have a run-in with local hero Thunder Cole.
Joe attempts to thwart Mario Coletti, a ruthless arms runner who sells weapons to the highest bidders.
While investigating the destruction of an oil platform with Troy and Phones, Atlanta is captured by undersea warriors.
After Captain Black inadvertently exposes himself to radiation, thus making himself detectable on long-range Geiger counters, Spectrum mobilises its forces to apprehend the Mysterons' primary agent.
Pedro and Fernando set a fire on the outskirts of town to lure Tex away. The bandits aim to rob the bank while Tex and the other townsfolk fight the fire.
Approaching an inhabited planet, the Alphans are suddenly pounced upon by warships. In an unprovoked attack, Moonbase Alpha is devastated by Earth-style Hawk fighters. With 128 dead and Alpha unable to sustain life, Koenig and Helena appeal to the aliens for mercy. The aliens proclaim the Earthmen to be an invading virus, with no right to exist.
In a remote diner in Phoenix, Arizona, Spectrum flight engineer Xander Story makes contact with two Mysteron agents. Story agrees to destroy Spectrum's Skybase in return for the aliens' promise that they will halt their war on mankind – he accepts a fusion bomb in a briefcase and also a large payment. Captain Scarlet gatecrashes the meeting but is shot and killed. Knowing that his body will regenerate, the Mysterons try to engineer Scarlet's total destruction in a massive explosion. Captain Blue finds his devastated corpse and takes it to Skybase. Doctor Gold finds that Scarlet's injuries are too severe, and with no sign of the retrometabolisation process taking place, he pronounces the agent dead. Captain Scarlet is guarding a particle collider at the Laroux Foundation in Louisiana. When a container tank is hit it releases a gaseous substance with special properties, which the Mysterons use to create an exact copy of Captain Scarlet. After disposing of the real Scarlet, the clone makes his way back to Cloudbase, intent on killing Colonel White. Later, it sets about destroying Skybase and Houston.
A medicine man arrives in town claiming to have a cure for everything and almost puts Doc Haggerty out of business before it is discovered where the true source of the medicine comes from.

While exploring an asteroid, the Alphans critically injure an alien trapped within. Bringing him to Alpha, he is declared dead. However, he recovers spontaneously and his wounds have completely healed. The indestructible Balor is a scientist whose people had discovered the secret of immortality. He explains that his people branded him a dissident as their society descended into malaise brought about by widespread deathlessness. He was imprisoned inside the asteroid and cast out. Actually Balor is a psychopath, offering a drastic solution to his people's apathy; now freed of the eternal prison, he plans to spend eternity practicing the art of pain and torture, with the Alphans as his subjects.
