The Awesomology Podcast is a show about things we love, don't love, or somehow find interesting.
Ben Wiggins and Sunday Stewart argue about e-cigarettes, overrated old movies, and the continuing curse of Emoji racism. The duo go after John Hughes movies and douchey behavior. Ben admits that he has not seen Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, or St. Elmo's Fire (mostly because Breakfast Club isn't that good). Sunday sings both the Hurricane Song and also a riff on the timeless classic, Total Eclipse of the Heart
Sunday Stewart joins Ben Wiggins to discuss the presidential debates (and the A of A's resulting drinking game), their favorite game day foods, and "we are that family" moms on Facebook. The two of them make fun of Donald Trump for a bit, and argue about which game day food is actually the best game day food. Sunday also spends a little time complaining about game day traffic in College Station.
Sunday Stewart joins Ben Wiggins to continue their non-partisan, evidence-based approach to lowering the rate of gun deaths in the US. The duo also talk about board games they love and don't love, and ask each other why Americans are being such idiots about common core math. (The answer: because we Americans are a lazy nation and we don't like to learn stuff.) Ben also may or may not spring some discussion of Sunday's erstwhile athletic ability.
Sunday Stewart spends an hour arguing with Ben about acceptable flavors of Oreos, dating do's and don'ts including how (not) to take a compliment, Dunkin Donuts closing 100 stores on International Coffee Day, James Woods' frivolous Twitter lawsuit, the Aristocats, and AT&T's attempts to bully them out of using their unlimited data plans. But above all (ABOVE ALL), the duo discuss apps they love and APPS THEY HATE (looking at you, Peeple.) Sunday also brings up La Croix and the two discuss Ben's time in Atlanta and argue about the best kinds of sparkling water.
Ben Wiggins and Michael Maciel sit down to argue about the two things most likely to be involved in an act of aggression in the modern United States. Obviously, those two things are guns and Donald Trump.
The guys talk about gun control, gun education, and what the best strategy really is for bringing down our country's ridiculous firearm homicide rate.
Then, Michael and Ben turn their attention to the Donald, his hair, his confidence, what he's really up to, whether he's a legitimate threat to win the Republican presidential nomination... and whether he even wants to.
Scott Davis and Josh Perryman sit down with Ben Wiggins to discuss the most current issues for the world's largest religion, including the Kim Davis fiasco, the #GodBlessBlueBell mess, and the well-meaning Occupy Jesus movement. The guys also touch briefly on theology and the current state of the "church service".
Ben Wiggins sits down with co-host Sunday Stewart to talk about Jupiter Ascending, Kurt Cobain, Nirvana, and the 90's, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., the time Ben saved the lives of dozens of innocent bystanders, and nasty breakups.
