My dad passed away last week after a brief fight with meningitis brought on by West Nile. I had a special relationship with him. He was the "best man" at my wedding. This week, i'd like you to get to know the dad i knew -- the dad i'll always love.
We now know my dad has West Nile Virus. What does that mean and what comes next? Well...
Plus i'll also have an update for you on the condition of my dad. It looks like he's getting better every day.
THANK YOU for all the prayers and well-wishes! "Dad" is currently being treated at UCSF. It's where he needs to be right now. I just wish he didn't have to be there.
