Here is Part 2 of The Brightwood Academy. The students follow some more leads on the murder. Like any Academy student, they immediately go see a concert.
Get ready for Season 5, it starts next week.
We are trying something new. Miles has created a wonderful RPG world, and has been playing some games in it. When we upgraded our sound gear back in August of 2018, we needed to test everything out.
This is fair warning, this episode was never intended to be broadcast. This was only to test our gear, work on our mic disciple, and see what problems we would run into mid recording. The quality is not up to where it should be. However, the world Miles created is worth the woes. The story is amazing and immersive.
We hope you enjoy it. We hope you endure the technical glitches, but we feel the world is worth powering through it. It's a great adventure, and it's a lot of fun.
Please let us know if you're interested in hearing more of the Brightwood Academy, we'd love to make more episodes.

"Something Bad Happened"
Group B now has to deal with the death of a party member. How do you cope with the loss of a someone who died doing something heroic? The Death Curse is still around, and there is a clue on Mercy's wrist. "Come Find Me," the message left by Agnes Wormwiggle is daunting. What could she offer the group? What would it cost?
Group B has learned more about the area, and it looks like they've picked a direction. Let's hope they get there in one piece.

"Hopefully Nothing Bad Happens"
Group B is exploring the ruins of Hisari. What can these ancient Yuan-Ti temples teach them? Does it have some kind of connection to the Death Curse? What does Ras'Nsi and Mezro have to do with any of this? Group B is digging deep through the volcanic rock and ruins of the old Snake Temples, will they find a lead or will they find death?

"Encounters of the Heart"
Group A begins a new journey into the jungle. The Grungs of Drungrungalung have given their blessing to the Omen Bearers/Almond Bears, and they continue to search for answers. They are headed to the Heart of Ubtao, but know little about this mystic rock formation.
What will they find in the jungle? What will be at the Heat of Ubtao? Are snakes really the running theme of this season?
There's a lot more jungle to explore, and a lot more pickled grunt to eat.

"The Commitment"
Group B continues their trek into the jungle. They have nearly died a few times over, but their guide, Eku, has them in good hands. There is some discussion about what it means to protect the jungle. What are the motives of everyone in the group? Are they in it for themselves or are they actually here to help? They've already seen outside forces try and impose their will onto Chult. What is the true purpose of Group B in the jungle?
A big thanks to our friends over at the Dumbgeons & Dragons podcast. They are an amazing group of people, and you should give them a listen. You can follow them on twitter @Dumbdragoncast and you can subscribe to their podcast on iTunes.

"Gambling With Friends"
It's adventure times with pirates and sea hags, what could possibly go wrong? Group B is finally into the jungle with this episode, with taking a quick stop over for some beach time fun. We get to learn more about the group, we get to learn more about Eku, and what Group B is looking for at Hisari.
What will they find, even if they can get there?

"I respect you. Hyuuugh!"
It's the weekend after Easter, our apologies for being a little late. We're back in the Grung filled jungle (The Grungle?) and Group A has the task of deceiving and entire city to make a fake god come to life. Ya know, just your usual D&D adventures, nothing out of the ordinary here? How to convince a society of cannibals and hunters that their non existent god is coming back, and is ghosting the chief of their tribe? Again, just your usual D&D adventure shenanigans. At the very least, everyone respects everyone else, hyuuugh, hrrrrngh, huuuugh!
What will Group A learn from the Grungs? Will they successfully replicate Nangnang? Will Milo ever fix his weird finger?

"Oh, hai Durand"
Group B has finally made it out of Port Nyanzaru, and they have arrived in Fort Belurian. The Flaming Fist from Bauldur's Gate has a fortification in the jungle. They have pulled off a successful heist against Jobal and are getting away with the goods. Will those items help them in the jungle? What will they learn up at the Fort? Will they see combat in this episode? At least one of those things will happen this week.
Our apologies to Tommy Wise for the good/bad impression.

"Grungs, Germs & Steel"
The terror in the jungle are large and undead. It seems Chult has never dealt with its undead infestation. Once those zombies get in, it's just tough to get them out. They're like ants. It has been a harrowing journey so far with Group A, as they try and survive all the monsters the jungle throws at them. Is Drungrungalung worth it? What information could be found there? Will they make it there?
The situation is dire.

"Enter the Breaker of Knees."
It's a heist adventure as Group tries to retrieve their map. Port Nyanzaru can be a dangerous place if you make the wrong enemies, and it seems a Merchant Prince is powerful foe to make. There is still the matter of finding a guide and getting into the jungle. Will they get their map back? Will they get out Port Nyanzaru alive?
It's all up to luck and a clever scheme.

The voyage on the river continues as Group A discover that even Tabaxi get the Zoomies when they poop. The weather gets harsh and the jungle gets harsher as everyone has to tuck in for a long storm. They move close to Drungrunglung and the home of the Grungs, but will they get there? There are hazards on the river, and not everything is what they appear to be.

Group A discovers more culture and history of Port Nyanzaru. They spend a bit more time preparing before heading into the jungles of Chult. Can they trust their guides? Are they ready for the terrors that live within? What exactly is in an adventurer's pack? Queenie and the Boat is ready to cast off on the the Tyriki River, let's hope every thing is smooth sailing from here on out.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle!
Port Nyanzaru has seen strange sights, but the strangest they ever did see was that night with Shep and the wuss as they wiggled the truss, all to the songs of the Bi-Puss-Puss.
There are sentences you thought you'd never write in your life, and that was one of them. It is going to be a crazy time in Port Nyanzaru as Group A tries to nail down some guides, and they try to get ready to head into the Jungles of Chult. Will they actually make it out of the port city?

It's getting colder in the Tomb of Rath Modar. Tarek & The Head Smashers are plunging deeper, encountering more peril and more traps. They run into a strange encounter in the library, and Tarek experiences some major changes again. Vondal is still haunted by the conversation with the ghostly image in the portrait. What does that character know about the Death Curse that has fallen on the land?

"My Dex is very bad"
The crawl continues, but at lest this time line Tarek & The Head Smashers are still alive. There are two Tareks, there is a nasty tomb of traps in front of them, how will this adventure come to a close? There is also a special appearance of a famous NPC who drops in to see how the Head Smashers are doing. It's going to get crazy as we come down to the finish.

"What happened to Shpimoney?"
Take two, annnnnd action. Tarek & The Head Smashers get a reboot at the Tomb of Rath Modar. Their first attempt into the dungeon didn't end well, and now they get a second kick at the can. How will they fare with new knowledge of the dungeon, and the traps of the first room? How long can they push their luck with constant use of the Wish Spell? The Head Smashers head back into the icy cavern, but will they perish again?
Is the world ready for two Tareks?

"We're not evil, we're disorganized"
Will the real Mackenzie Mormont please stand up? The Head Smashers have freed the actual Mackenzie Mormont, and they have seen inside the Vault of Wonders. However, they must now deal with the lich, Rath Modar. This illusionist has been pulling the strings for some time now. The Head Smashers are ready to cut loose and take it to Modar himself.
It's not going to be easy, the Tomb is dangerous and full of traps. This is coming to a conclusion soon, will the Head Smashers see it through to the end?

"I'm not a grappler, I'm more of a striker"
Mackenzie Mormont is free, and the Head Smashers have one last place to go. It's time to bring all the Soul Stones together, and keep them in the Vault of Wonders for the greater good. There is much to learn, and much to prepare for in the final tomb. They Head Smashers are walking into the lich's den, and they know they're coming.
We are getting into the final run of the podcast, we hope you enjoy the final few episodes.

A Two signature policy
Whoah-oh, we're halfway there; Tarek & The Head Smashers (possibly Guardians of the Vale,) have their third soul stone, and have saved Solstice from doom. It's time for another meeting with Mackenzie Mormont, and time to learn more about what they are collecting. What was that face Vondal saw on the Green Soul Stone? Is it somehow connected to Tionidas and his soul stones?
The adventure continues, but what waits for them in the shadows?

A Strange Introduction
What happens when you get shrunk down in size and have to crawl through the decaying body of a dryad? Weird, stuff happens; strange and abstract things happen. It's hard to comprehend the insanity, it's probably best that this is an audio medium, because visual treatments would not be sufficient.
This journey through the core of a Fey creature gets strange, and it gets amazing. Please enjoy the episode, please enjoy one of the wildest crawls through an organic dungeon with an amazing boss fight.

"I think I may be on the wrong flying carpet"
It's time to jump into the Feywild. It's a new day, a new reality, and new dangers for Tarek & The Head Smashers. It's time to hit the Green Trail and make their way to the Morning Vale Meadow and track down the Soul Stone of Constitution. What are they going to encounter when they meet Solstice for the first time? Will they be able to survive the dangers of the Feywild unscathed?
It's a planes jumping adventure for the PC's; will they get the Soul Stone?

"If we find ourselves in the future, we'll just wish ourselves back to the present"
"You know it hurts every time I do that, right?"
Tarek & The Head Smashers make their way back to Mackenzie Mormont, this time with more than just a soul stone in tow. The Head Smashers are no strangers to dealing with evil artifacts, but this time they are brimming with them. They also try to figure out where the next target lies, and it looks like it's going to be a trip to another plane of existence.
This was our 5oth recording for the D&D Podcast, and we are still amazed that it has gone on this long. A big thank you from the cast for listening to our weird and wild adventures. We hope it has been fun, and we hope to continue making adventures that you enjoy.
It's going to get weird in the Feywild.

"Hello, old friend"
We were minus one Miles for the session due to VANCAF, but we carried on like the dedicated players we are. It turns out, that was a giant mistake. Who knew that Miles/Vondal was the much needed voice of reason in the party. Things happen in this episode that we thought would ever happen again. It just goes to show, the Wish spell is both the best and worst things to happen to an adventuring party. There can be essays written about how Tarek & The Head Smashers use the Wish spell. For every problem it solves, it creates five new ones.
Remember to let Miles know how much we love him, and how important he is to the group.
Hopefully we'll return to relative normal insanity when he returns for the next session.

"I'm tiny Tarek!"
It's time for more Freaky Friday with Tarek & The Head Smashers. The Head Smashers are deep inside the Illithid Hive, and they now have a minor to deal with. Is it okay to actively dungeon crawl with someone who can't legally drink in most cities? The Dwarven cities, of course, are excluded. The hunt for the soul stone continues, and it only gets more dangerous from here on out. The Illithich knows there are threats on the horizon, and it is preparing.
Will Tarek/Dolus & The Head Smashers succeed?

"This is how this is supposed to be."
Tarek & The Head Smashers are venturing into the Underdark. It is time to face off with some mind flayers, but they are not without help. Their small guide, Frigg, is an expert in guiding adventurers to and from destinations in the Underdark. There is a lot of peril to be found in an under ground realm, but their Xvart should carry them safely.
An Illithid hive gets all kind of weird, and the Head Smashers get wrapped up in a lot of weird. It's traps, thralls, tricks, and trepidation as the adventurers crawl through the dungeon in search of the Soul Stone of Intelligence.

"I go in the room."
"Noooooooo!"
After dealing with The Knife and putting an old foe to rest, Tarek & The Head Smashers are ready for the Underdark. They run into some difficulties inside the Ruby of Homecoming; things happen when you have pocket dimensions inside other pocket dimensions.
Once they find their way to the Underdark, they must make contact with Mackenzie Mormont's contact, Frig. A little Xvart, and expert in scouting out dungeons and tombs inside the Underdark. He has a lot of information, but a lot of warnings to share as well. Illithiches are not a thing to take lightly, and The Head Smashers will have a lot to tackle.
The illustrations are still here, for those that are interested, we will release maps and stats for the Ruby of Homecoming and The Emberbeards.

"I blow up a lot of rooms."
It is the final show down between Tarek & The Head Smashers and The Knife. Morgrun and Vondal are going to go Dwarf-O a Dwarf-O. It's a bearded brawl in the Mithril Hall. Vondal is trying to settle all his past debts and move past the Knife.
It's going to be a wild ride inside a magical ruby, and only one group of adventurers will make it out, we think.
How will The Head Smashers handle The Knife? How will they clear Vondal's name? Let us know in the comments below.

"Did somebody say pineapple?"
Happy Canada Day to all our Canadian listeners home and abroad. It is the holiday weekend season for the United States & Canada, what better way to pass the time than by listening to a bunch of adventurers try and smuggle themselves into the Dwarven lands.
Everyone has come a long way since Greenest, and it looks like the past is catching up with Vondal. How will he tackle the challenges put up by the Knife? What will he do to save Marek? How are they going to get into the Mithril City past Dwarven Border security? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
There is more Hakilliana art to be seen as she illustrates all the adventures to date, please enjoy the hilarious interpretations.
The future image was illustrated by Rusty001 over on Deviant Art. Please go check out his awesome work, he has some mad talent in those hands. His interpretation of the Mithril Hall is epic and exactly how I saw it my mind's eye. Let him know what you think of his awesome art.

Dracoliches, Dracoliches, Make me a Wish
Two stones down, and four to go for Tarek & The Head Smashers. The group heads back to Baldur's Gate, and they are making plans for the other Soul Stones. They've attracted the attention of some bounty hunters, intent on collecting the cash reward. It turns out surly dwarves clerics offer quite the coffer. It's an adventure on the run from bounty hunters and soul stones, what are Tarek & The Head Smashers going to do next?
More illustrations from Hakilliana, to better document the adventures the Head Smashers have experienced. It is a great visual record of the exploits everyone has seen.
We recorded this on February 19th, so please disregard us talking about the date. It was warmer than it has ever been, and it looked like a spring day.

A Post Hakh Era
We now live in a Post-Hakh era. The group dynamics have changed, and they tend to swing less on the evil side of the spectrum. The Head Smashers are recovering from a massive change, as well as reclaiming the Black Soul Stone of Death. There is still a lot left to do, and the Head Smashers still have some potent foes to fight.
The group looks to return to Waterdeep, but there are unanswered questions, and unknown threats from the shadows.
The art for Hakhiliana is now updated. The style will stay the same while the character changes completely.

Well, Hakh, this is new
Every group has a game in D&D that will stand out and be memorable to them. Episode 8 was one of those games. From a DM perspective, it had a bit of everything. The key factor was, everyone was having fun, and everyone was engaged in what was happening. How could you not be pulled into the story? The idea of this moment being crafted by the five players at the table was amazing. You can't write this type of story telling, you have to let it happen. By the gods, old and new, this was an event. Three years of experience with these characters has changed in one moment.
Just let the audio do the work. You can't say much to accompany the events after the Battle of Storm Warden Keep. Just listen, enjoy, and get ready for surprise and laughter. Some things are just too good to not share. We have been sitting on this for a few months now, and it really knocked the socks off everyone.
This episode is why I love playing D&D.
Here is Hakh Art that helped recap the episode, things will be much different after this.

Talis the White Round II
A fight that was three years in the making. Tarek & The Head Smashers finally get to square off with an old adversary. If there's been any constants in the careers of the Head Smashers, it's been talking swords and Tails the White. She has ascended to the head of the Dragon Cult, and she is on her last stand. The Order of the Silver Gauntlet has pushed the Cult to the brink of destruction.
This is going to be one of the toughest fight the Head Smashers have encountered. Luther the Bloody Hand is a fallen paladin of power, and this will push the limits of all the characters involved. Buckle up, because this one is going to be for the history books.
Trevor has more recap illustrations for all of us. Send him a tweet, and let him know how much you enjoy them. It's always a treat to see what he has created for every session.

Storm Warden Keep
It's a surprising trip back to Waterdeep, and a visit with the Order of the Silver Gauntlet. Tarek & The Head Smashers meet an old friend with Ontharr Frume. He is still salty about how The Head Smashers went about dealing with the Nation of Thay, as well as the Arcane Brotherhood. While reluctant, he is still a valued ally. This is the last stand for the Cult of the Dragon. The last threats to the Forgotten Realms could come to a close with another alliance.
What waits for the heroes in Storm Warden Keep?
We have uploaded Trevor's sketches from the sessions, we will make a gallery post and keep all the files there updated. It's a nice treat to get a recap in Trevor-vision, it's great that we finally get to share it with you.

Border Management
It's always a pain crossing a border. The random inspections, the tense atmosphere, the random ambushes from rogues and wizards shapeshifting into demons, it's a mess. It's a showdown that leaves some collateral damage in the wake. The Head Smashers have also gained the attention of The Knife. This organized crime syndicate has sent Vondal a signal. The Knife is on the move, and they are looking to disrupt the life of Vondal and the people around him.
How are the Head Smashers going to deal with a crime network while trying to recover powerful soul stealing artifacts? They've already claimed the first soul stone, and now they move on towards the second.
Has your group ever been ambushed by a group? How did it go? Let us know on twitter or in the comments below.

Equus Resurrectus
What does it mean to love a horse? It means at least one diamond's worth of love, give or take a few thousand gold. Lord Fangorn is dead, and his lair is up for grabs. There's a lot to clean up, what do the Head Smashers do with the Emberbeards? Who has claim to all that gold? Will it help Granite Bend?
There is a lot to take in, and a lot left on their plate. They have the first soul stone, is this enough to gain the trust of Mackenzie Mormont? Is Mormont to be trusted? Tarek & The Head Smashers will find out, once they make it out of the dwarves lands.

The Emberbeards
What does it take to resurrect a horse? This is a question that has haunted adventurers for generations. The reality is, we may never know what it takes to bring a creature back from the Equestrian Plains, but Tarek & The Head Smashers are going to find out. After the deception at the quarry, our PC's head into the mountains to track down the lair of Lord Fangorn. They have the lead with the Emberbeards, but who are they? What are they? Only the lair will hold the answers.
As with every dungeon crawl, they find the traps. Buckle in for another romp underground as they try and find the first Soul Stone. Has your group set off any traps? What is the most dangerous trap you've been caught in? Let us know in the comments below.

"Well, we found the trap."
Border Crossing
Tarek & The Head Smashers are on the road once more. They've been recruited by Mackenzie Mormont to recover the soul stones of a lich. As a test of their abilities, The Head Smashers are sent to the dwarves town of Granite Bend and investigate an ancient red dragon named Lord Fangorn.
After a luke warm reception at Waterdeep, and mediocre reviews, at best, of Tarek's show, they met with the magic goods dealer and learned of these potent soul stones. They are an unparalleled power that could threaten the Sword Coast, and it falls into the ball park of the Head Smashers. Saving the Sword Coast is reference many times on their resumes.
What is going to wait for them in Granite Bend? Is Dolus a trifling to be trusted? Will Hakh ever find a new talking sword?

Children raised on bards never turn out right.
Home again, home again.
We have returned with a brand new season of the D&D Podcast.
Season 3 is here and it is 100% home brew. We jump into the events one year after the Battle at the Well of Dragons. The Head Smashers come back to Waterdeep to celebrate their one year anniversary of the battle. The world is still moving, and it looks like a lot has settled down. It's quiet, almost too quiet. If there's one thing that spurs an adventuring party, it's quiet time.
Join Tarek & The Head Smashers for Season 3 as we encounter the new problems of the world. Send us a tweet, or leave us a comment on what you think of the new season. We all love RPG's and table top gaming, we're always open to jam about dice.
This is a labour of love, and we're all excited for you to hear the adventure. When we complete recording of the last episode, this adventure will be written up and posted on the DM's Guild, so you can use the source material to run your own epic campaign.
See you next Saturday.

Hakh'ing. verb, To bring an NPC within 1 or 2 hit points of life.

Their new allies, the lizardfolk, have been gathering a force to fight back against the bullywugs. Rezmir the Black is in the keep, and she has allies in the forms of Captain Borngrey and the Red & White Wizards. Will the rag tag group of lizardfolk be enough to fight back and claim the Hoard of the Dragon Queen? What mysteries lie beneath the castle? What is the observatory pointed at?

"I think he called us Tarek and the Head Smashers again."
"It's like every other word out of my mouth."
The Thing in the Garbage
The group infiltrates Castle Naerytar with the help of Snapjaw. They're where the hoard of the dragon queen is being housed, but a castle is a mighty thing to tackle. They must get by the "Thing in the Garbage" that has the lizardmen terrified of using the secret passage.
They also run into an ancient study full of secrets and star charts. Will they disturb the undead that rest there? The answer is yes, yes they do.
How will the heroes establish a foothold in the castle? Will Tarek and the Headsmashers get their heads smashed? How many specters does it take to rattle a cleric? Tune in and find out.

Sinceriously, do not grapple the barbarian. It's lethal.
Cry Freedom II
The adventurers discover the hoard of the dragon queen is being smuggled to an ancient castle. The money is constantly on the move, while the dogged heroes pursue it. Paela strikes off on her own adventure, armed with only her fists and a few words in Draconic, both of these assets pay off. She encounters a tribe of lizard-folk who are in need of a hero. Lucky for them, Paela knows just where to find a group of them.
The lizardmen are the ones moving the hoard of the dragon queen to castle Naerytar, in exchange for some help from the adventurers, the lizardmen will help the heroes, they just have to watch out for the "walking grass."
Let us know how we've been doing, who is your favourite character right now? Is it the Bard of Destiny or is it the loveable psychopath Hakh? Let us know in the comments below.

Sincereously, never grapple the barbarian.
Lessons in Litigation
Waterdeep, where dreams come true, and business partners may put you in the ground. The group spends some time in the city gathering info on the cultists; while dealing with a thorn in their side, the group seeks enlightenment from Vondal's church.
The heroes pursue the Cult of the Dragon north to a construction roadhouse. They try and figure out where the final destination for the hoard of the dragon queen will be. They also see more clues into Vondal's past, and how deft he is at opening locked doors. Are they getting closer to the end?
What awaits them in the roadhouse?
Stayed tuned for the next episode.
Why is the cleric so excellent at thievery?
Revenge is a dish best served cold
The heroes survived the assassination attempt, and now they pursue the Cult of the Dragon north towards Waterdeep. They are on the last leg of the journey, tracking down the hoard of the dragon queen, but can they survive before they hit the gates of Waterdeep?
A familiar foe shows up, and proves one of the hardest challenges to the group yet. Do they get pushed to the limit or does a TPK (Total Player Kill) occur?
A new ally find the heroes, will she be able to help locate the final destination for the hoard of the dragon queen? It has been a long road north, has the journey taken its toll, or has it only cause the group to harden themselves?

With thanks to Deusuum for the image. No seriously, check out his stuff.
I just want to kill that fucking wizard.
The Long Journey North
The group continues on their second leg up north. They have secured positions on the caravan out of Baldur's Gate, and they are keeping tabs on the Cult of the Dragon.
The hoard of the dragon queen moves in plain sight, but is tracked by the heroes. Can they keep their eyes on the prize, or will there be other distractions? Vondal attempts to infiltrate the cult, while Hakh discovers his maul has been pilfered. Paela and Locian try to keep their boss safe, and discover an assassination plot. Is it the cult trying to protect the hoard of the dragon queen, or could it be an unknown foe?

Q: How does the fury taste? A: Hot
The Bauldur's Gate Hustle
The pursuit has begun against the Cult of the Dragon. The heroes travel to Baldur's Gate and prepare for the arrival of the Cult. We learn that not all bards are characters of upstanding quality, and we also learn that Hakh has poor social skills, but great business sense.
How would you rate his skull smashing? * Satisfied * Very Satisfied * Only okay * I can't hear you, my head has been caved in.
The heroes must infiltrate the caravan before it leaves Baldur's Gate. They have a long road ahead of them, and the answers are just starting to come forward. Will they survive the journey? Will they uncover more of the plot? Will anyone actually know who the Bard of Destiny is?

The Party at Eltruel
Our group of adventurers head for the city of Eltruel. The group hopes to learn more about the Cult of the Dragon, and what they plan to do with the massive amount of treasure they've plundered. They also look to reunite with Leosin, and inquire about the dragon eggs they've acquired.
They meet a paladin named Ontharr Frume, who is more forthcoming with his drinks than he is with his information. With a giant festival planned for the city, will the heroes have time to enjoy a break in their pursuit, or will the cult take advantage of their break?
The D&D group will be without their barbarian, Hakh. Trevor had to take care of his puppy (she is alright,) after she strained her legs running in the park. We all jump in and play for Trevor, as any D&D group would do.

Never fire an arrow at a halfling monk when money is on the line.
Hakh v. Cyanwrath Round II
After the defeat of Fluram Mondath, the heroes delve deeper into the cave. Revenge is on the mind of Hakh, while Vondal questions the decisions of the group.
What is this cult, and what do they want with a massive amount of treasure? The involvement of dragons can only signal bad omens. Listen along as the characters try and find the secret at the back of the cave.
Have you jumped into a D&D campaign? What adventures have you seen? Does your group dynamic match that of players? Let us know in the comments below.
There are always traps.
Ethics in Dungeon Crawling
Our heroes continue on in The Hoard of the Dragon Queen. After saving Leosin from the Cult of the Dragon, the party is asked to investigate the cave at the camp.
Ethical lines are drawn in the cave, as the group have their first debate on what constitutes a helpless prisoner, and what makes someone a combatant. They also put in the RPG equivalent of finding the warp tunnels, and jump right to the boss fight.
It will be their toughest challenge so far.
Cry Freedom
Our heroes have survived the night. There are some questions that need to be answered, and some skulls that need to be mauled. Join Locian, Hakh, Vondal, Paela, and Tarek as they go in pursuit of the Greenest raiders.
What is this Cult of the Dragon, and what do they want?
We jump into our second session of D&D. We are fresh off of 4th edition, and we're still trying to pickup the nuances of 5th. As a fair warning, we will make mistakes, but we will make them consistently. We are, at our core, what Chris Perkins referred to at PAX East; a bunch of friends, sitting around a table sharing stories and laughs.
What happens when six guys are sitting at a table with murder, mayhem, and profit on their mind? Just about anything?
We started recording back in 2014, and a lot has changed since then.
Let's meet our cast of characters, and where they'll be playing.
The Greenest of Flames
Our group of adventurers are on their way to Greenest, where nothing could go wrong. It's just a little place in the middle of nowhere; certainly nothing involving dragons could occur.
Our group of adventurers in the wagon are:
Locian Moonshadow --Half Elf Warlock, played by Evan Dickson (@EvDickson)
Tarek (Bard of Destiny) --Dragonborn Bard, played by Tom Chounpanh (@tchounpanh)
Hakh --Half Orc Barbarian, played by Trevor Coleman (@trevorcoleman)
Paela --Halfling Monk, played by James Fraser (@jamfraser)
Vondal Loderr --Dwarven Cleric, played by Miles Andrew Baker (@MilesABaker)
The DM, Human Weirdo, played by Jonny Robertson (@Fotoguy79) - That's me!
Let us know how we do. We may make mistakes, but at least we will make them consistently.

Epilogue & Battle Royale
Here is our Epilogue & Battle Royal that happened at the end of Season 2. It is some of the best role playing and comedy that I've heard since we started this crazy adventure. Give it a listen, and hear how Tarek and the Head Smashers close out The Tyranny of Dragons.
The Battle Royal was just as fun, we got to see what happens when everyone really uncorks. Who knew that Vondal could take that much damage. However, this isn't the end. We are going to rebroadcast Season 1 on iTunes, and that should take us to the premiere of Season 3 in late March. So please give a subscribe and follow along the adventures of Tarek, Locian, Dolus, Paela, Vondal, and Hakh.
