Dove Point Bible Study
Dove Point Bible Study is an indepth look into God’s Word, with special emphasis on the Prophetic Scriptures. We believe that this is the generation that Christ said, “shall not pass away until all these things be fulfilled”. The Second Return of Christ is at hand and we believe that an indepth study of God’s Word, with understanding, will not only prepare you forthe things to come, but will also make you an Overcomer! Rev. 21:7.
This week we begin to look at the opening of the Book, as in who is worthy to break the seals, and also the breaking of the seals - and the pouring out of the vials. You should be able to start getting a look at where we are now, in your mind.
This weeks' lecture finishes the mini-series within our study of Revelation which has been about judging the seven churches, then and now; the church at Laodicia is the last church in this list. As Chapter 4 starts, so does John's vision. We're glad you're along for the ride!
This week we look at three more churches: Thyatira, Sardis, and Philadelphia. One of them rounds out the list of two churches that Christ was (and is) pleased with....
This week "he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks" begins to judge and "dress down" the seven churches - and what he says can be applied to right now. Be sure and pay extra close attention when we get to verse 9...
Have you ever read parts of the book of Revelation and thought to yourself "what the heck does THAT mean?" Or, "I hope I NEVER see a creature like that one!!" Or maybe you heard it taught by some well-meaning preacher somewhere, and came away more confused or with no more understanding of Gods' plan for these times than you had when he started? And yet the name Revelation, in the Greek (apokalypsis), means "a disclosure of truth; laying bare; be revealed"? God meant for us to know what was going to happen so we could be forearmed for the battle to come.
Good news! The seals on the books have been broken, and you can have understanding of this amazing prophecy given to John all those centuries ago. If you want to be guided through this book by a true teacher of the word with no agenda other than getting the truth to you, you are in the right place. Here in these YouTube videos we will be presenting lessons on the book of Revelation, starting with chapter one and verse one, and going through to the end. May the God of all minister to you and reveal to you His truth through these teachings, and place His seal in your forehead in preparation for the days that are at hand. "The truth is out there", and you may find that it is different than what you have been taught so far.
Chapter 38, which we continue studying this week, is what is considered a "paranthetical" chapter, and as we move on we will see the seed line of Christ being brought forth through Judah. We will also return to the subject line of Joseph and his time in Egypt in chapter 39.
This week let's look at Joseph, and some of the reasons he wasn't popular with his brothers...and what happens then, because of this.
Joseph is born, and Jacob tries to take his leave from Laban. For some very selfish reasons, Laban doesn't want him to go...
As we begin this weeks' lecture there is a famine in the land, and Isaac begins his role as patriarch, moving as God directs him.
Ten righteous people was the final deal that Abraham negotiated with Jehovah to avoid the destruction of Sodom. In chapter 19 God's two angels approach Sodom on a fact-finding mission to see if there indeed ARE 10 righteous present....

Our study of Mark chapter 12 continues this week, starting with the Sadducees (who don't believe in the resurrection) asking Jesus a question - about the resurrection...

The appearance and use of numbers in the bible are as important and indicative of truth as any words or phrases, and nowhere is that deeper truth more evident than in the second feeding of the masses that takes place in the first part of chapter eight....

After His amazing ministry trip, Jesus heads home, and encounters an amazingly low level of faith amongst his neighbors and kinfolk; amazing even to Him. Let's also look on as He sends out the twelve, their stories when they get back - and the ultimate fate of John the Baptist.

We look in as Jesus and His newly called disciples arrive at Caprenaum, which would serve as Jesus' "ministry headquarters"... and almost immediately the action starts.

In this lecture we will explore chapter eleven of Zechariah, which continues to expound upon the prophecies of our time - through an excellent object lesson.
Atonement, then and now (and a VERY good explanation of the blood covenant), is discussed today as we study our way through the 8th chapter of Zechariah.
Judah's example from the past is a warning to us today, to not repeat the same mistakes that got them into trouble. Also, the Feast of Trumpets, or Rosh Hashana, is explained in detail; this will bless you!!
The two witnesses are further explored this week, as well as the temple of God - the end-time one, which doesn't exist in the natural, as of yet...
Today we look at Zechariahs' fifth vision, which is far in the future for him, but really close for us: between the fifth and sixth trumps.
Another vision is given to Zechariah in this chapter - and it relates to the time we live in; the "right now". And he talks about YOU, fellow elect.
Chapter 2 starts with the third of Zechariahs' visions, given to him by God to record for our instruction and edification. Hope you are enjoying this book with us, it's a good one!

These 3 epistles are designed to get us ready for the book of Revelation, the last book in the Bible, which was also penned by the apostle John as he was inspired by God. These last two epistles go to great length discussing the importance and benefits of getting the truth, and how to recognize those who claim to know the truth but don't have any, or know any.

Well, here we are. Almost to the end of our study. Only three lectures left after this one! We sincerely hope you have enjoyed it, and, most of all, that you have gotten a good overview of the entire bible, and and a good understanding of God's plan for this "earth age". This week talks about the renewal of all things....and three weddings (?).
It's forgetting' time. Time to leave it all behind. To me, the most important part of this lecture is learning what we are to do till this time comes...
It turns out that, even after all that, Satan gets one more shot at deceiving SOME people.....
Now that everything is winding down, did you ever wonder what we will do next, right after? Float around on a cloud and play a harp? Nope! The period immediately following is referred to as the millennium, and here's what's gonna go down during this time period.
This week we re-visit the first four verses of Revelation 20 and add the fifth verse which deals with the first resurrection (you mean there is more than one?).
The bible talks about how we will be able to walk by the pit in which Satan is imprisoned, look at him, and say to ourselves: "...so THIS is what gave us so much trouble all these years?". In our lecture this week that time is described; oh yeah - and a time of testing for us is about to begin....

Thankfully, nothing lasts forever, and in this weeks' lecture Babylon's reign of oppression and deception is finally over.
Opression, deception, and fleecing of mankind is not a very good way to conduct business as a government or a religion, and when you have set yourself up as both and conduct yourself this way, the judgement of God is not far behind. As Mystery Babylon is about to find out.
As we know the bible is full of symbolism, all of which have meaning if you are hungry enough to search it out. This weeks' lecture, although covering only seven verses (seven? Hmmmm....) is loaded with symbolism; and you can learn about all of them by listening in!!
Well, the title on this one is a little complicated, but, believe me, the lecture is well worth the time! "The eighth from the seventh" explanation was an eye-opener for me!!
The identity of "great whore that sitteth upon many waters" is revealed, and where we are in history at this time is spelled out - and pretty plainly.

As the explanation of the pouring out of the vials begins, we see how they are related to the seven seals and the seven trumps...
At last, what the bible refers to as Babylon is finished, and the reign of confusion is over; all things are clear. This week is in kind of two parts: the pouring out of God's wrath (which, by the way, doesn't take long!), and the harvest. We hope you are enjoying learning!!!

This week we circle back a little, and take a deeper look at the first six verses of chapter five as they relate to "the champions of God". Who are they? Here's a good chance to hear something you may have never heard before!
What exactly does it mean to "make an image" to something, escpecially in this case, as in "make an image to the beast"? And what exactly IS the "mark of the beast"? A chip implanted? Numbers tattooed on the forehead, or the hand? Would Satan, who has been around a long time, be that stupid, and would people actually fall for that after all these years of being warned? To know ahead of time what your enemy's plans are just makes you that much more prepared to stand against him; good to know as we progress in this chapter...
At last, the antichrist comes to his end, and the quick sequence of events at that time are amazing, to say the least.
The symbolism is thick in this week's lesson as the woman and the red dragon are explained, as well as his fate...
The Antichrist really screws up when he just can't take it anymore and kills the two witnesses. This signals his end, and flips the switch for the finishing touches on the flesh age in which we now live.

John is told to measure the temple, and we begin our look at the two witnesses. Plus a little more....
Daniel 12:8-9 says: "And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end." But like our intro each week says: Good news! The seals on the book have been broken! Now, it's up to us to take it and read it, and let God give us understanding.
First Corinthians 2:7 says "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:"; now, as the seventh angel sounds, this mystery is at last finished.
Since we were children we've known about our "guardian angel". This subject is discussed this week, along with the seven thunders.
As the four angels are loosed, it's time to be sure of what you believe, and more importantly, what you won't fall for!!!

The fifth seal is opened, and there is a lot going on that is going to terrify those who don't realize or have knowledge of what is happening around and to them. How will you, and can you, witness during this time? This weeks' lecture also includes a review of what happens (and where we go) when we die a flesh death. As the fourth seal is opened, we see the setting up of the beast system - probably a little different than you have ever been taught before. Enjoy!

One of the most familiar signs of the end times is explained this week as in Johns' vision the second seal is opened.
