This is my experience and some main take aways from what I learned about transitioning to a complex aircraft for the ten hours for commercial rating requirements.
Derek Piza is the checkride man, completing 4 checkrides (ifr,cpl,cfi,cfii) all within 5 weeks spending ONLY 12,982... how much did you spend on your flight training again? He’s originally from New Zealand and through some rough circumstances he made himself into what he is today with a can do attitude. The process of how he did this is really what is so interesting. How he went about his training to maximize efficiency with a alpha training strategy. There’s so much to be learned from this.

ATTENTION! Greg Rath is a combat decorated fighter pilot, flying 75 missions to countries including Kuwait, Iraq, Somalia, and flew in Operations Desert Storm, Southern Watch, and Restore Hope. He was the commander of Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornet Fighter Squadron aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, a Marine Aircraft Group, and a Marine Aircraft Wing. Some of the aircraft he flew were the F-4 Phantom II, and the F-18 Hornet. Greg served as the Assistant Chief of Staff of The White House Military Office in which he kept communications between the Commander-in-Chief and Pentagon intact during extreme uncertainty.However, His career did not end after he retired from the military in 2004 after 30 years of honorable service; he began to pursue a commercial career with Jet Blue Airways, only to pursue the business world in Anaheim, selling car parts from around the world and distributing them across the U.S. This business however got bought out, and Greg had the opportunity to go back to school to pursue a bachelors degree in History. At this time he already had two other degrees, one from ASU in Business Administration Management, and Masters in Military National Resource Strategy from National Defense University. Greg also wrote a book called Nine Lives of a Fighter Pilot; which details his journey of being a fighter pilot during Operation Desert Storm during Saddam Hussein's reign. With his degrees underneath him, his experience as a leader in wartime as an exceptional fighter pilot, time served in the white house at the highest levels, his knowledge of flying in the airlines, and now pursuing a political career for a congressional seat in California, Greg Raths is not just your average Aviator.
