'Have Your Say' - 'Should people be able to drink in public places?'
Scottish Borders Council are actively seeking to engage with the community as they prepare to introduce new byelaws.

These proposed byelaws will be discussed during Area Forum meetings in November -
for venues and times go to www.scotborders.gov.uk/areaforums

You can also submit your views by visiting www.scotborders.gov.uk/consultations and filling in the on-line survey – or you can complete a questionnaire which is available from any council contact centre or library or by phoning 01835 825 002 or 01835 825 006

If you feel strongly about the proposals to restrict drinking in public places I will be very happy for you to let me know your thoughts here at TD1 Radio – I hope to be able to include your input during my Thursday 'Lunchtime Review' shows throughout November.

You can submit your views by e-mail via donald.strachan@td1radio.com
text 07939 880880
fax 01896 888010

FaceBook – TD1 Radio
or give me a call live on-air between noon and 2pm 01896 888111

I look forward to hearing from you – let's fill my November 'Lunchtime Reviews' with lots of healthy debate –
Do you agree that there is a problem?
Which communities should have restrictions applied and when?
What should these restrictions be?
What penalties should apply if byelaws are breached?
