As they approached the end of their first week rehearsing for their major summer production I met up with some members of Borders Youth Theatre for a chat about how things were going. This is an edit of my chat with Bethan, Lukca, Amelie, Mathilda, Tarrin and Lucy. Due to my show being pre-recorded, I was unable to include on-air before the production dates, consequently this will be included in 'Views From The Edge' during week commencing 5th August on Mad Wasp Radio, TD1 Radio and North Highland Radio.
Inspired! The Creative School For You Musicians recently launced their new CD 'Dear Someone' with a marvellous live show in The Maltings in Berwick upon Tweed. Ahead of that I featured them in two shows when I described my attendance at a reghearsal session and included input from some of the group members. This audio is an edit of that part of both shows (aired on Mad Wasp Radio, TD1 Radio & North Highland Radio). I have selected the group song'Dear Someone' as my 'track of the month' for May 2019 and as well as playing it around half way through the second hour of every show during the month I will be playing out every solo song on the CD as the month progresses.

After an excellent set opening for Republica at 'Under The Bridge' on 29th May 2015, I caught up with Mel Sanson of Kenelis for a brief chat. This interview was included in 'Lunchtime Review' on TD1 Radio on 4th June and 'Views From The Edge' on North Highland Radio on 8th June.
To help mark this year's International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) on Sunday 17th May I bookended that day with special features in my 'Lunchtime Review' shows on Thursday 14th and Monday 18th. SO great to finally catch up with Tiger Lilly during her UK Tour - this was recorded ahead of her gig in Edinburgh's BrewDog on 13th February 2014 - this interview initially included in 'Views From The Edge' on North Highland Radio on 18th February, extract also included in 'Lunchtime Review' on TD1 Radio on 20th February. Very pleased to be able to report that since this was recorded Tiger Lilly's purse has now turned up.
