Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The 400 meter relay is one of the great events in Olympic track and field competition. It’s four runners, each running as fast as he can, and then passing the baton to the next runner. That’s the tensest moment of the competition; everybody holds their breath. If the baton isn’t transferred [from one runner to the next], if it’s dropped, they can’t win the gold. God’s plan for us, dads, is to run as hard as we can, as long as we can, and then pass the baton to our sons to carry the torch forward and run their part of the race as fast as they can.
