DJ Superchief is a Manchester based electronic dance music producer. As a self taught musician, computer techy and avid gamer he takes inspiration from anything from the pounding beats of heavy metal to the melodies of film scores. DJ Superchief tends to not stick to any particular genre of music and makes what he thinks sounds great. This tends to be anywhere from chill, House, Progressive and Trance. He is very interested in collaborations, remixing and giving any genre an electro DJ Superchief spin.
A track I made a while ago and now seems to be the right time to release it. Thanks to a friend of mine for helping me stick it all together, I present my latest track 688, free for all :)
I've thought long and hard about this track and how to release it. This year has taken so much from so many people and we are all struggling in our own unique ways. I wrote this track not long before my own struggles in lockdown and I have been wondering what to do with it.
Given how much the year has taken and what it has taken, I wouldn't feel right releasing this in any other format than for free. A lot of soul was put into this track and I want you all to have it.
So here it is, my track lockdown. Stay safe and look after one another.
EXPR 1.0.6 is the first track in a series of experiments into different techniques and synthesizers. It was designed to serve as a film or television show intro and pulls inspiration from many shows such as Stranger Things, The Walking Dead, Passengers, Sunshine and many more. I hope to do more of this in the year to come and make a soundtrack album. Keep tuned in for more.
