Latest Story Bomb hot off the Press . . .
Spring-Heeled Jack was an unidentifiable assailant that began tormenting London in 1837. In the very first recorded sighting, a servant named Mary Stevens reported walking to Lavender Hill when a figure leaped out at her, grabbing her and scratching at her with his claws. Her screams drew the attention of passersby, who searched for the assailant but were never able to locate him . . .
. . . then he came to Sheffield!

Recorded at Hybrid Studios with an all-female group of young people from the local area. Lead by multi-talented female musicians and story tellers, Rebecca Hearne and Sarah Sharp, with assistance from Matt Ritchie and Al McGregor. We learnt about the life and work of pioneering electronic music creator Delia Derbyshire, and how she overcame adversity to rise to fame in a male dominated area. Inspired by Delia's story the girls wrote their very own "Love letter to Delia" with Words, Songs and Electronic Music.
